Goku did not mind the idea of going home at all. He was satisfied with this fishing trip now that he had managed to capture such a large fish. It made all the boring sitting around completely worthwhile! Goku was beginning to understand the appeal of this 'fishing' thing, or at least he thought he did. It took patience, but it paid off when you got to test your strength against a powerful opponent! Plus, after you defeated them, you got to eat them. So, it was a fight and a meal all in one! No wonder Dad enjoyed doing it!

Once they reached shore, Goku tossed the big tuna over his shoulder and walked off the boat. He began heading back toward the house, grinning and feeling like a true champion. Even the mightiest of Paozu fish could not stand up to his battle strength! The boy replied, his mouth moving at a mile a minute, "Uh huh! It's gonna taste extra good cause I caught it! We should go fishing again! I wanna battle more fish! I hope Dad sees it! Do you think he'll be proud of me?"

Chi-Chi listened to her son talk."Yes, I do think your father would be very proud of son. How the next time we go fishing how about we ask your father to come long with us."said Chi-Chi. As they walked threw the front door and and into the house Chi-Chi took a good look at the big fish. Chi-Chi was not looking forward to cleaning that fish but she knew she was going to half to. So Chi-Chi rolled up her sleeves an walked right into the kitchen and started taking out the many knives that would help clean the fish.

"Put the fish on the counter son."said Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi then put on her apron in order to keep her clothes from getting to be a mess. As she waited for her son to put the fish on the counter top Chi-Chi was thinking back to how many times in her life that she had to clean and cook a fish. Trying to count how many times she cleaned and cooked fish was very nearly impossible to count. Since she knew that it would take her some time to get the fish ready she thought maybe it was best to and let her son play outside int ill she was done."You can go outside and play for a little bit."said Chi-Chi.

"That would be great! Then Dad could see how strong I am!" He flexed his tiny muscles a bit, very enthused at the prospect of fishing with his parents now. And the idea that Dad would be proud of him for catching such a big fish was pretty nice too. Goku's father was pretty busy, saving the world and training people who came to him to learn how to become stronger. So the half-saiyan relished those opportunities when he was able to spend even a little time with his father doing anything, even if it wasn't training. Goku was certain that one day he would show his Dad that he was worthy of being trained too.

With a little grunt of effort, Goku tossed the fish off his shoulder and set it on the counter. He stood by, watching and waiting until his mother told him he could go out and play. This was turning out to be the best day ever! Not needing to be told twice, Goku was out the door immediately. He jumped up in the air, briefly floating for a few moments before touching back down. So far, Goku hadn't been able to quite get the hang of flying, but he was working on it. Plus, it was fun to float around! And that was what Goku did while he waited to eat, jumping up into the air to float back down over and over.

As the hours flew by Chi-Chi worked on cleaning and cooking the fish. Soon Chi-Chi was very much so done getting supper done that night. Chi-Chi looked at her handy work with a smile the meal was cooked and the table was set and ready for her family to take their place at the table. Chi-Chi walked out the front into her yard. She looked around at first to see if there was any sign that her child was close by. After seeing that there was no sign of him chi-Chi thought it was best that she call for him."SUPPER IS READY!" yelled Chi-Chi.

Chi-Chi was now standing in her front yard waiting on her son to come in. As she was standing Chi-Chi was thinking about the long day she had and was looking forward to hopefully having a peaceful evening. Chi-Chi was hoping that she would be able to get some of her knitting done tonight. Chi-Chi was still thankful that she had gotten to enjoy the day with her son.

After snapping herself out of her thoughts Chi-Chi still noticed that her son has not arrived yet."Son hurry up our food is getting cold." said Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi was still waiting on her son.

Goku rolled across the ground, his arms wrapped around a bear in a headlock. The beast tried to shake him off, rather annoyed by this child that had decided to bother it. It growled, slamming him back into the side of a tree, but Goku didn't budge. It tried to reach behind itself to grab him, but it just wasn't possible. Even if one of its paws got close, the boy's tail smacked its arm with the strength of a roundhouse kick. Goku just laughed, rubbing his knuckles against the top of the bear's head in a noogie, "Say 'Uncle'! Say 'Unc-'"

His mother's voice carried across the forest. Supper. Reluctantly, he let the bear go, pushing away as he jumped off its back. "That was fun! We'll finish this later, Mr. Bear!" For its part, the bear wisely turned and ran off deeper into the forest to escape the crazy kid. Goku sped across Mount Paozu, heading back home as fast as he could. His mother called for him again and he launched ahead, aura blazing into life around him as he briefly flew! Reaching the house, his feet hit the ground and he hurried up to his mother, "Alright! Supper! I'm starving!"

Chi-Chi watched was her son ran up to her."Well then let's go eat."said Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi then walked into the house and and took a seat at the table. She then started to help herself to her plate of fried fish and rice. As she was eating she was thinking about her knitting and her job as a cook show hostess. She was now thinking that maybe she should show people how to make fried fish on her show. Chi-Chi took a second to stop eating her food in order to take a sip water. Chi-Chi then stopped drinking her water an she then put the glass back onto the table. She then went back to eating once again.

It wasn't to long before Chi-Chi got done eating her food. She got up from the table and then picked up her plate. She then carried her plate into kitchen and placed it in the sink. She then walked out of the kitchen and went back to sitting at the dinner table. After a while she then wonder what her son had been up to while he was outside playing."So son what all did you while you where outside playing?"asked Chi-Chi.

Just like every meal that they had had in the past, Goku made short work of his fried fish dinner. He actually remembered to use his silverware, which made it take slightly longer to actually finish his meal. Still, it was absolutely delicious, made even more so by the fact that he had caught the fish himself. Food definitely tasted better when he hunted and killed it himself, or, at least, he thought that was the case. Goku took his empty plate to the counter, setting it in the sink before looking to Chi-Chi and stating proudly, "Mmm! That was yummy! You make the best dinner, Mom!"

When she asked him about what he was doing outside, Goku smiled nervously. He wasn't the brightest boy, but he was pretty sure his mother would be unhappy about him wrestling with bears. So, rather than bring up anything that might cause Mom to worry, he shrugged and said, "Oh... just stuff. Running around, chasing rabbits, and trying to learn to fly. It's really tough! I wish Dad had time to show me!" As if to emphasize that point, he jumped up, floating for a moment before slowly falling back down to the floor.

Chi-Chi smiled at her son."Well Goku it seems like you had been very busy and I'm sure you'll be flying threw the air soon enough. Now go and get cleaned up. After you get cleaned up I'll read you a story before bed."said Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi then got up from the table and waled into the kitchen and got started cleaning the dirty dishes. Chi-Chi quickly got all of the dishes done and dried. She then put the dishes away. Chi-Chi then quickly wiped down the counter tops and the dinner table. Chi-Chi then did a double check to make sure everything was cleaned and put away, when she saw that everything was indeed done and in order. She put the rug into the kitchen sink and walked out of the kitchen.

Once in the living room Chi-Chi took a seat on the couch and started to work on her knitting. She was finishing up a scarf that she had been working on for a while now. Chi-Chi soon got done knitting the scarf. Chi-Chi then put the scarf up into her knitting bag. She was now thinking of what she start to work on next. She was now thinking maybe she could knit up a hat or maybe some gloves.

Goku nodded, heading off with less of a bounce in his step. Getting cleaned up was boring, after all. Still, he wasn't about to disobey his mother. So, the half-saiyan boy took a bath, making sure to thoroughly wash his spiky hair and his tail. Not because he wanted to, but because he knew his mother would make him take another bath if he wasn't clean enough. Once that was done, he hopped out of the tub, shaking himself off and getting water everywhere before drying with a towel. After the bath, Goku brushed his teeth and made some effort to comb his hair, though it always stayed the same.

Feeling all weird and 'clean', Goku left the bathroom, putting on his pajamas as he hopped onto the bed. He tucked himself under the covers and waited patiently for his mother to arrive. Despite the discomforting chore of bathing, Goku always looked forward to this. Sometimes his Dad, but usually his Mom, would read him a story before he went to bed. His tail moved anxiously back and forth beneath the covers and he wondered what story his mother would tell him this time. Would it be another story about his Dad's adventures?

Chi-Chi looked at the clock on the wall and checked the time. When she saw what time it was she knew most likely that her son was in his room. So Chi-Chi got up from the couch and walked to her son's room. When she was at the door Chi-Chi reached for the door knob and turned it. She then open the door and walked inside. Chi-Chi saw that her son was in bed was ready for his bedtime story. Chi-chi then walked to where son's desk was and pulled the chair from it. She then moved the chair to be at the side of her son's bed. Chi-Chi then took a seat on the chair."Alright son what story would you like to hear tonight or would you prefer I read from a book?" asked Chi-Chi.

Chi-Chi then waited for her son to answer her. As she waited Chi-Chi was wondering what story her son would like to hear tonight. She was also trying to think of a good she could tell him if he should ask her to just tell him one. She trying to of a good book she could read to him in case her asked to read from a book. It wasn't to long before she had a of what stories she would read or tell him.
