It was a time of celebration for the small Makyan Demon King, a time of utter happiness for him and his plans. He had come back from the Dead Zone due to the help of someone from in his past, someone he had vowed to make his forever, and was already well on his way with the construction of his Castle. Yes, it was very good to be Garlic Jr right now, as he had so many plans and visions for the future that he had intended to see come to fruition. He wouldn't allow any of his plans to be ruined. Lavender, the beautiful Makyan that had always been right at his side, had agreed to become his bride, shortly after breaking him out of the Dead Zone with the help of her crew, the Spice Girls. He considered himself foolish for leaving her behind the previous two times, and vowed to ensure that he didn't do something so utterly buffoonish again. She would be his Queen, and with her at this side, there would be absolutely no one that would be capable of standing up to him, not a single person, especially when he managed to make himself even more powerful than before. On top of that, his Castle was being built faithfully by some Makyan builders he called from his home. He would make sure that his Castle grand and fit for someone of his status. Tall, powerful, menacing, and majestic, perfect for someone of his grand status. He would not allow them to shortchange him and half-ass things. It would be the grandest structure in all of existence, because Garlic Jr thought big, really big. Everything about him, except for his height, of course, was big, and he was going to make sure that everyone knew it when all was said and done. Yes, his plans were slowly coming to fruition. He could tell he was on the fast track to something great, but now all he needed to do was train, grow stronger, and all of the like. He couldn't afford to slack right now after finally being released from that accursed dark void that was the Dead Zone, and wind up in it once more. He would need to stronger, and on top of that, more cautious as well. He would not allow himself to commit the same mistakes that he had committed twice in the past. Lavender had shown him how excited she was to see him again, and after being personally reacquainted with each other, Garlic Jr decided to get some air and let her sleep. He was enjoying his freedom from the Dead Zone, and all of the pleasures that came with it. However, he was also working so hard, so very hard, harder than he had ever done before. He was tired of having Immortality, but not being able to put any of his enemies down. He really needed to get stronger, so much stronger that it would be impossible for anyone to stand in his way. _______ WC: 503 |

Nezuel had grown stronger in his time upon earth's soil and although he couldn't quite quantify how much he had done so he felt better than he had ever felt before. If he had to guess he would say he was atleast twenty time as power as when he arrived, no small feat for only being on earth for a couple of days. He had to wonder if his insane gain in power was due to him being a disciple of Bel or if he had some hidden mutation that allowed him to accumulate power quickly. It would stand to gain, he thought. Members of his race tended to have mutation...Frieza and the Cold family had the same mutation, that fact that they were born with almost incalculable power. Him, on the other hand, hadn't been born with much power at all, even less that most member of his race (his parents included.) Perhaps he did have that mutation and perhaps it was the will of the gods or heavens that he grow ever higher and higher. He had to be careful not to get too close to the sun before him time though. He was growing rapidly but he was still not strong enough to warrant the attention of Frieza and become his student. He might stay on this planet for another month...at least until he was strong enough to be heard and noticed. He had been given the day off by Bel, his mentor, and he could think of no better thing than to revisit the place that he had first landed upon earth. It didn't take all that long to get there compared to the first time. Since arriving upon earth he had learned how to fly, a skill that he had ignored upon his home world for fear of drawing attention to himself. On earth, however, most humans saw him as a demon and reacted either violently or scared enough to find someone to react violently. Most days, if he wasn't in his true from that could pass as a meta human, he opted to avoid the cities. So there he was, a mass of black ki around his body as he flew through the sky. Eventually he landed in a small creator that served as a landmark for where his pod had crashed upon the earth. It had long since been devoured by the planet, its metal components either scavenged by humans for money or by animals for their nest and teeth. Looking around, however, he would notice something he either hadn't seen before or something that had come into being the past few days, a castle. Its architecture was...odd to say the least, it didn't seem human. No, he certainly would have seen it last time he was here, it was simply too large to ignore, even if it was still under construction. Something didn't smell right...a structure that big popping up in a couple of days. Opting to explore and confident of his current power level upon this planet he began to fly up to the structure, choosing the largest spire as his destination. Garlic Jr continued on his long walk along this Mountain Road, focusing entirely on his little nature walk. His thoughts raced, going over how he would celebrate when this Planet was finally his for the taking, and how everyone would bow to him and view him as a God, to be worshiped and to be utterly loyal to. Yes, the very thought made him smile under the hood of his cloak, very pleased over the thoughts he was having. He couldn't wait for it all to be his, and all he had to do was gain all the power he needed in order to make it a reality. Stopping on his walk for a moment, he decided to pull out his Crystal Ball, and proceeded to use a scrying technique with his magic to view his magnificent castle through it. Ah, there it was, the sight of his lovely Castle, all majestic and imposing like he wanted. Yes, his Makyan builders were truly going above and beyond the call of duty by making his castle with the exact specifications he had ordered them to fit onto it. He would make sure to congratulate them when it was finally finished being built. He was about to end his little scrying act, when something he saw in the view of his Crystal Ball made him stop. There was something in the distance heading towards his Castle, and he wasn't sure of what, or who, it was. Narrowing his eyes in concern when he saw the figure race toward the largest spire of his Castle in his trusty Crystal Ball, he had decided to cut this being off at the pass and make it to his Castle so he could ensure that, if this creature was hostile, it could be violently put down and it's head kept as a trophy. Ending his scrying technique, Garlic Jr had activated some Makyan Magic, and due to a special Makyan blood ritual he used to bind himself to his Castle, allowed him to instantly teleport himself into the largest spire that the creature had chosen to head towards. He then proceeded to make himself comfortable in the throne that he had set up in there, the chair, of course, being large than the small Makyan King. He sat there patiently, tapping his right index finger on the armrest of his massive throne as he waited for the creature to make himself known. When the creature had finally entered the large spire, he spoke up to the creature after pulling his hood down so Nez could see the Makyan's features. "You don't appear to be any kind of Beast Person that grew up alongside the Humans here. So, I'm curious, what are you, and why have you decided to enter my humble abode without permission?" he asked Nez with a frown on his face, seeming rather irritated with Nez dropping in unannounced and just deciding that he would trespass on his property in such a rude, inconsiderate manner, regardless of the reason. ______ WC: 501 TWC: 1,004 |

Nezuel soon arrived at the top of the spire. He took a small amount of time standing atop of it looking at the workers construct it. It was a warped twisted thing to him, reminiscent of the buildings the cold family would construct. It spoke of somebody who wanted art in their world but had no idea what art truly was. His suspicious might be correct and this may be the base of a being similar to frieza. His only hope was that if this being was in any way similar to the titanic tyrant then he was not nearly as strong. If he was...he was about to walk into his own funeral and there was nothing he could do about it. If not...perhaps it was possible to reason with the being...and if not kill it. He jumped down from the top of the spire landing on a small ledge that he assumed was meant to be a viewing platform. Once inside the complex he looked around the room, spotting some furniture such as what appeared to be a giant throne. He found it odd, thrones were used by royalty to receive visitors...yet the only visitors that could be received in this place would be either those that could fly or withstand the long walk from the bottom of the castle like structure. It was one of three options to him. Either the man wished to receive beings only capable of manipulating their ki, was meaning to demean anyone wishing to meet with him, or had the throne simply so he felt good. His second and third reason were better than the first...and those reasons spoke to a person he probably wouldn't end up liking. It was then that he noticed a voice talking to him. He looked around the room again, spotting no one. He took some more time and finally realized that he had missed the figure sitting in the throne because of how small he was compared to the structure. Perhaps his third reason had been spot on...was he over compensating for something? "You are not of this earth" he said, not a question but a statement. He had been upon this planet's soil long enough to recognize something that didn't belong. The structure only lent support the his conclusion. "There is nothing humble about this abode" he wondered if the being even knew the meaning of the word humility. "I came, curious, wondering if I had found something that did not belong. Tell me, did I find what I sought?" He was seeing if this was a being to be trusted, a soothsayer, or if it was a being of lies and riddles. Would it reply truthfully and with honor or lies and deceit, words and riddles or violence and threats. It was so hard to tell because he was so small but he seemed to have such confidence. What was the meaning behind this meeting. WC 515 TWC 1,005 |

When Nez had claimed he was not of this Earth, Garlic Jr burst out into a fit of chuckles. Oh, Nez was absolutely correct about that when he said that he was from Earth. He was absolutely, 100% correct about that, and he even seemed to know it, too, if the way he said it was of any indication. He didn't say it in a way that it came off as a question, he said it in a way that clearly showed it was a statement, something that he quite clearly already knew. Garlic Jr was a little impressed that he figured that out already. "Yes, you are correct when you say I am not from this Earth. I am from somewhere else, and I am most certainly a Race that was not born and raised on this Planet, that is for certain" he said to Nez, applauding him for his foresight. He wasn't being mocking at all when he said and did this, just confirming what the Changeling said as true. There was no reason to deny what Nez claimed, since it was clearly so obvious to anyone with even a bit of intelligence that he was, clearly, not of this world. When Nez commented on how there wasn't anything humble about the Castle, or anything in it, Garlic Jr just took that in stride, chuckling a bit to himself and nodded his cloaked head in agreement. The King of the Makyan Race felt that he deserved nothing but the best, the grandest, the largest, of things, all of them awe-inspiring, and as such, built accordingly. If other people had a problem with that, well that was too bad for them, because he wasn't going to tone down on the grandiose nature of things he had just because of what other people felt about it. "Well, I feel that it is only something I deserve, considering who I am, and all. I am a big deal, even if you don't know who I am" he said in a boastful tone of voice, his voice rather high-pitched, shrieking, and raspy a bit as he spoke. He was boastful and almost bragging in a way, which spoke of an ego that the small Makyan Demon had, but he hasn't been hostile yet, not in the slightest. He just bragged and conversed with Nez, almost as if he wasn't concerned at all with the possibility of Nez getting violent with him. Nez then informed him that he had come to find something that did not belong, and then asked Garlic Jr if he succeeded. Garlic Jr cupped his cloaked chin in thought, which would give Nez a view of a small, pale greenish hand. Nez had yet to be hostile with him, so Garlic Jr felt there was no need to be hostile or antagonistic with him. If he wasn't here to cause trouble and/or become violent, than there was no need to bother being hostile. It would be foolish to make an enemy out of someone that wasn't hostile with him yet. "Well, it depends on your opinion of 'what doesn't belong' means to you. It is a bit of a difficult thing to answer. I supposed the correct answer would be both yes and no. However, to explain why, would be to launch into a long tale of sorts about my past, and I would rather not bore you with the details, unless it is what you want, of course" he said to Nez with a smirk appearing on his face that was obscured very well by the hood of his cloak that formed shadows over his face. "Ah, but where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself. I am Garlic Jr, King of the Makyan Demon Race, and someone with special interest in Earth" he said to Nez, introducing himself politely and in a boastful manner. It was clear to see that Garlic Jr's small size was eclipsed by his ego and the like, if the way he talked, and the way his home was built, was anything go by. However, while he clearly seemed to be egotistical, that didn't necessarily mean he was an enemy to be destroyed. While egotistical people could be annoying, Garlic Jr had yet to oust himself as an enemy. _______ WC: 711 WC: 1,715 |

In his time, living with his own people and the people of this planet, Nezuel had learned a few revelations about power and those that wield it. His people often changed their shape and as such he was in no way going to underestimate the little green man before him. It would be all too simply for Nezuel himself to move from his 1st to his second form, growing a number of feet and losing the child-like physique he had. His voice would also grow darker and full. As for his power level it would increase from 30% of his maximum to around 40% of it. He had learned that people on this planet could tell how strong their opponent was and although he hadn't quite gotten the hang of it he would soon. It was with such ideas in mind that he was careful of the little green man. Power had the effect of corruption on people, of turning their thoughts and deeds to themselves as easily as money and fame did. It was also possible, he thought, that the little green man had been born with such an ego. It was possibly to be born powerful but was it possible to be born egotistical or cruel? Had the cold family become so well known for their cold and cruel acts having been born as such or had King Cold become that way and taught it to his children? Nezuel, for not knowing the green man, didn't particularly like him already. They was something about him that rubbed him the wrong way. Perhaps it was the way he thought he was entitled or the way he had called his home humble knowing full well that it was not. Perhaps the king was used to something far greater than this, living in a venerable palace. If that was the case perhaps he met a man of waste, who cared more about looks than perupose and practicality like him. Nezuel wished for results...perhaps this man wished to feel results. "Royalty?" he woulds ask, his mind going back once again to the cold family and his eyes narrowing in instinct. He was a demon, he admitted it. Demons were generally chaotic at best and their king would be even more so. This was dangerous ground he was treading. Nezuel thought about the way that he had came here, the corridors that he had passed through. Culd he make it out before dying? "Greetings then. I am Nezuel, an arcosian. I would say it is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance but I don't think we know each other well enough yet to say such. Still, I would say it is better the devil you know than the one you don't....so why don't you tell me about yourself King Garlic." He was attempting to appeal to the man's ego. Perhaps he could learn somethign about him that would give him an edge. WC 510 TWC 1515 |

Upon hearing Nezual question him on his Royalty claim, he chuckled a high-pitched, cackle-like chuckle, and nodded his head in the affirmative, a nod of pride. It was clear that he took great pride in being the King of his Race. Being a King wasn't exactly a common thing in his mind, as there were many different types of ruling classes and the like out there in the Universe. Besides, it wasn't like Nezual could dispute his claims of being the Makyan King, since he wasn't even aware of what species he was until Garlic Jr himself had told him. "Yes, I am Royalty. I inherited the position from my Father after an unfortunate incident lead to his demise" he said to him, showcasing some amount of sorrow at the thought of his Father's death. Evil he may be, but he still had some class, and he did genuinely love his father, so the thought of him passing was sure to make him express some sorrow. He made sure to hide any rage he felt towards the person that was responsible for the passing of his father, that accursed old slug of a fool, Kami himself. He regretted not killing him when he had the chance. Nezual introduced himself, and claimed he was an Arcosian, a species Garlic Jr had never heard of. So, this being was clearly from another planet, then. It made sense, considering there wasn't even any kind of Animal Earthling that looked anything like this Nezuel. It was interesting, the fact that he wasn't the only alien being on this planet. It was something he felt he would need to check in on after he conquered Earth, search the stars for signs of alien life. He wondered how many more of Nezuel's species were out there in this wide, wide, universe. "An Arcosian, hm? I've never heard of your species before. Then again, we Makyans don't really tend to travel beyond our home planet much. My Father, myself, and several other Makyans have only been to this planet before, and that's only because my Father was sought out as an apprentice by the former Guardian of this planet long ago. Regardless, it is a pleasure to meet you as well, Nezuel"] he said to him with a thoughtful hum, before changing the subject at the end and politely bowing to Nezuel after he stood up to do so for a moment. He then sat back down as the Arcosian informed him that he wanted to know more about Garlic Jr. Smirking to himself, feeling a bit smug over the idea of some random alien wanting to know more about him, the almighty Garlic Jr, the immortal Demon King. While he was always more than happy to talk about himself, which was one of his most favorite subjects, of course, he wasn't quite ready to dispense information about himself before Nezuel did so about himself. So, he quickly spoke up to the Arcosian and let him know his thoughts on the matter. "While I'm all for talking about myself, what with me being one of my favorite subjects, I'm not so keen on dispensing information on myself without getting something from you first. Information for information, equivalent exchange and all that. If you won't dispense information about yourself first, I feel no reason to talk about myself, even though I love to do so" he said with a chuckle as he sat back in his massive throne. He waited for Nezuel's response patiently, waiting to see what his reaction would be to his little ultimatum. If Nezuel didn't want to tell him anything, than he wouldn't tell him anything else. _________ WC: 608 TWC: 2,323 Edited by zangTapion, Sep 18 2015, 07:35 AM.
