He let out a slight sigh of relief, once he was confirmed correct about Gatz's height. What puzzled him, was how the woman could say she wasn't tall. She was at least a full 6 inches taller than the alien, and he was considered tall for his people.

"I haven't seen any... kais, before. No information, no official records, completely off the grid. It is very off putting." He muttered, crossing his arms, an annoyed scowl on his face, before returning his gaze to Bel.

"Me? Well, I shouldn't be spreading around the details of my mission, but it won't do any harm to this planet, I can assure you that." He began to reply, the scowl fading from his face, and returning to a look of pondering. "Like I said earlier, I heard things. Things about magnificent power, at first, I dismissed them as rumors. Nothing more than some stories Earthlings tell to 'spook' others." He said, uncrossing his arms, and returning to attention.

"I decided to investigate, check around, until I got here. While this isn't the most orthodox 'Haven' I've seen, it certainly seems to do it's job. Not sure of the exact purpose, but I suppose that's your business." He paused again, and smirked. "You are also correct, I am not an earthling."

The purple space man hadn't seen a kai before. In most cases, kai had pointy ears and were a different shade of skin color than humans were. The ones she met were few and far between, but the ones that did train with her normally had a rebellious personality. They were either cast off the planet itself or told to seek further training because they did not fit the standard that elder kai had for the race itself. She couldn't live in a world with strict rules and regulations. Despite her having a human appearance, she felt as much as a kai as the ones from the kai world. For that reason, she considered herself to be a rogue and one who could one day revolutionize how kai were.

"The kai have strict rules and regulations. I have had several rebellious ones come to me for training. Since I have no affiliation to them, I cannot say for sure why they are like that," she admitted to him.

The topic of conversation focused on Jaco. He explained to her what he wanted, why he came to her, and briefly where he came from. He confirmed to her that he wasn't an Earthling either which meant her assumption had been right. His appearance had no resemblance to that of Earthlings. She predicted his reason had far coming to her had far more importance than Earth itself. Since she resided on Earth, she had no knowledge of what happened in outer space. He must have been someone of great prestige too.

He told her had a secret mission and assured her the planet wouldn't be harmed. She neither cared nor worried about the Earthlings of the planet anymore. If she did worry, it would be for her family.

"I trust you," she said. "What exactly do you wish to learn from me?" She asked out of curiosity.

Jaco looked down, wondering how to respond to the question. There were many things he wished to learn, fighting experience, possible intel about the organization, et certera.

"I feel like of all the dojo's on this planet, this is the best one to start with. Training with full Earthlings seems... odd, now. He said, scratching his chin. "I want to be able to defend the ones I care about. I want to go home, and be able to stop all of this war, of course, I do not possess the means to do so." He added.

He then looked back upwards at the Kai, studying her intently. She looked strict, but maybe that was because she was in 'Master mode'. He decided against mentioning it, before smirking slightly.

"So, is there any type of initiation? A way to show off my current abilities?" He asked, crossing his arms, moving in anticipation.

"It sounds to me that you know what you want, but I must warn you that there are terrible beings on this planet," she informed him. Recently, she lost her faith in humanity after she watched an entire city burn to the ground. She tried to save the innocent people of the city, but once the Earth's military discovered that those humans may post a threat, they bombed the area and killed their own people. She witnessed innocent men, women, and children die in the flames. Their screams were silenced, yet they continued to echo in her mind two weeks later. The pain of their loss lingered in her heart too.

Her dark thoughts couldn't be read by Jaco though. She remained at ease even though her thoughts were dark ones. "You made the right choice. I will help you achieve your goals, but first the initiation," she said although truthfully she didn't have one.

"Yes, but it may sound silly. I wish for you to purchase me the best kind of chocolate you can find in the city. I tend to get hungry before I teach my students," she smiled cheekily because she wondered if he'd actually do it.

"Life on here is imperfect, much like life on other planets. There is no such place where every being is pure." He muttered, "Believe me, I looked." He added, before getting to the topic at hand.

A candy bar.

This was certainly an odd request, and he hadn't exactly spent much time researching that aspect of human life. However, if that was what it took to learn from her, than he would be happy to do so. Well, more like 'required', this wasn't exactly a task he was excited to perform.

"//The best?//" He thought to himself, puzzled. How was he supposed to know that? The thought of consuming it to find out was somewhat sickening, but there was no other way. He would have to put himself through this, for the sake of his training, the universe, and his people. For he was no average alien, he would be the alien to rock this world, and put it in its place!

Once realizing that he might be overthinking this matter slightly he turned around, and began to approach the door. Once at the entrance of the dojo, he turned around sheepishly.

"Uhm, is there a specific part of the area? Or do I just search everywhere?" He asked, his confident smirk fading slightly.

Bel stayed silent when Jaco said there was no place in the Universe where all life was pure. She hadn't searched the stretches of the Universe like the purple man had, but she recognized his wise words to be the truth. In her mind, the light couldn't flourish without the dark and the dark couldn't exist without the light. A shadow was formed because of light and like the morning sunrise, the sun set for the darkness too. However, the more time she spent on earth and experienced what it had to offer she discovered a new truth about light and dark. The terms of light and dark symbolized good and evil to the mortals on the planet. Despite their connotations and the simplicity of their meanings, she found out that they were false descriptions humans created. The good and evil notions were created by people in the attempt to justify their decisions. They yearned to have their actions be honored by a simplistic ideology of morale code.

They were fools. The line between good and evil wasn't simple. Her thoughts about the oddness of humans altogether came to an abrupt end when the purple man spoke to her about the chocolate bar. He took her request and turned to the exit. He asked where he could start.

"What is the fun in that? If I told you, then it would be too easy. It is your job to locate his incredible chocolate bar," she smiled brightly. "I am sure you can manage to find it. It is not like I am asking you to needle in a haystack," she expressed teasingly.

The patrolman frowned, what did needles and haystacks have to do with human consumables? Whatever, he could figure that out later, he walked out the dojo, and into the busy streets once again, and began to search.

"I might need to brush up on my reading of the English language, translating these signs should prove to be a slight challenge." He muttered, before moving forwards. His appearance caused many to turn their heads, confused. Who was this dashingly handsome, extremely talented, and mysterious individual? That was for him to know, and them to find out. He looked at sign after sign in the Haven, inside every store he could, and then he realized one, crucial part to this whole mission.

"What does a 'Chocolate Bar' even look like?" He asked to himself groaning. This was just great. He would have to guess, a bar was a cylinder, right? Cylindrical, rod-shaped, et cetera. So he had half of the problem figured out. The other half was finding out what Chocolate looked like. He just needed to examine everything that was cylindrical in the area, and then he would be done! He looked into a shop, which had a rack full of rod-like items! Of course, chocolate was a food, and they didn't look edible, so what were they? He groaned again, before bumping into someone.

"Ey, watch where y'er goin'! People are tryna'-wait, what are ye'? You must be onna 'dem mid'ets, right?" A stout man asked, glaring at Jaco. He gulped, he had never seen this kind of human before. Short, fierce, emitting smoke from a small device in his mouth, it must be some sort of strange mutation.

"I am Jaco, and I am in search of a 'Chocolate Bar'." He said proudly. The man raised an eyebrow. "Really? W'll, I got just th' thing for ya', come with me, ya mid'et." He replied, grabbing Jaco, and dragging him off, the Patrolman obliviously following along, with no idea what was happening.

The kai queen looked around the dojo once Jaco exited the building. "What a weirdo," she thought to herself. He left her alone and bored. While she waited for him to return, he would be in search of her chocolate bar. In the meantime, she decided to get lunch for herself while he took his time to find what she requested from. He seemed like he had no clue where to find a chocolate bar, therefore, she assumed he'd take quite awhile. She sometimes wondered if other planets had luxuries like Earth did. If they did have them, she pondered if they had chocolate too.

"Maybe I should have asked him to find me the best chocolate in the Universe," she laughed at the thought. "I have never had space chocolate before. It could be an incredible experience," she decided to put the universal chocolate on her bucket list. Hopefully, in time, she could convince the purple man to find her a candy bar in space. Being hungry, she exited the dojo and headed to the cafeteria where there were hot trays of food that waited to be eaten.

Meanwhile, our hero was being dragged across the ground, in an asinine chase for a chocolate bar.

Why? Because Fate wanted to test him.

Was he passing? Probably not.

He struggled to reach his blaster, just a quick shot to the hand. Sure, he would need a new one, but hands could be easily accessible, right? Anyways, his small, yet manly fingers couldn't reach it, which caused a slight sense of panic.

//Oh god, I'm going to die on this backwater planet. All because of a candy bar.// He thought, before smirking. He wasn't going to die here, he was a hero! One measly human couldn't stop hi-

"Oi, 'Mid'et, say 'ello to the gang."

...Shit.

He gave a sheepish wave, as he was slung onto a table.

"So, this mid'et here, wants to find some chocolate. And bein' th' nice guy I am, I brought him to ye'." The stout man said, as several shady figures stared at the Alien.

"I ain't no doctor, I don't give no free lollipops." One said, at the head of the table, crossing his legs. "However, you seem like onna them techy aliens. Let's strike a deal. You give us some of yer space tech. We give you a candy bar, got it?" The apparent leader asked, smirking.

This was a drastic situation, give up his tech for some chocolate. What was he an idiot?

"Sure." He said plainly. "Just show me the goods first." He said, internally high-fiving himself. He was consorting with the enemy! Like an undercover cop! Just wait until the rest of the patrol heard about it!

The leader rolled his eyes, and tossed one onto the table. "I was gonna eat it later, but some tech that'll make us top-dog is much sweeter." He said, before the alien lunged at the candy, and flipped over the leader with amazing prowess. Of course, that would be expected of someone like him. He ram off, heaving as he heard the sounds of footsteps.

"WE HAD A DEAL! FINE! WE'LL JUST RIP THE TECH OFF YER DEAD CORPSE!" He yelled, as Jaco slipped through crowds of people. This was it, the moment of truth. He looked down at his reward, before groaning.

"An empty wrapper?" He muttered. "ALL OF THAT WAS FOR NOTHING?" He yelled, before turning around, facing the group with full force. He was going to get some chocolate from them, that was for sure.

"Give it." He said, raising his blaster.

In the meantime, Bel tended to her lunch time.

"Thank you," she thanked the cafeteria staff after they handed her a case that contained a chicken wrap that she'd have for lunch. Once she received her lunch, she approached one of the cadet tables and sat alongside them. They were nervous when she sat next to them because of the orders that the General gave them to not interact with her or to look at her in a bad way. She ignored their anxiousness and concentrated on her meal. As good as the chicken wrap would taste, she pondered about the dessert that the purple haired man promised he'd deliver her. The fact that she sent him on a quest for a chocolate bar caused her to giggle to herself.

"Wow, I cannot believe I sent him on a silly quest. He took it seriously too," she shook her head while she continued to laugh at how ridiculous the situation for her newest student was. "I hope he'll find the store alright. Do they even have stores in space?" She thought to herself in amusement. Her hands pried open the container with her wrap. She reached for the honey mustard and oozed some of it onto her meal.
