Gatz’s Haven - Shopping Mall - Mid-day

It was a crowded afternoon at the local shopping center in Gatz’s Haven. People of a wide variety bobbed in and out of the various stores and restaurants that occupied the mall. It was a good day for anyone to enjoy the luxuries of shopping. The sun was vibrant shining above through a clear sky. Everyone there had not a worry in the world.

However there was one strange sight today. A crowd of people couldn’t help but turn their heads as they saw a blue skinned man dressed in exotic red and gold clothing walking through the mall. His attention was kept on the various businesses he was window shopping. Every so often he noticed the line of interested people that slowly followed behind him. Most of them debated if he was a street performer or some kind of alien. Most people were aware of the various races Final Heaven interacted. The saiyans were an often frequency and even some strangely designed androids, but someone with his particular hue of skin tone with crazy white hair was a rarity.

Gee had been away from Earth for what seemed like an eternity. Other World has a way of messing with the flow of time for its residents. After returning to the physical realm he would need some time to adjust. No longer was their an empty pink sky above and a dangerous pit of golden clouds below. He was met with the ever changing world that he once knew with digital senses. He could enjoy the warmth of the Sun’s rays on his skin as he continued to explore the shopping center.

He wasn’t sure what exactly brought him to this city. He had only begun to develop his abilities to sense the life energy of other people. There was something about this part of Earth that grasped his attention. In the meantime he could always enjoy some of the simple pleasures humans live with every day.

The kai warrior felt his stomach rumble. Now that he wasn’t dead any longer, his body required a larger amount of food and drink to sustain himself. He quickly searched for an appealing restaurant until he came upon a wonderful Japanese restaurant. Gee remembered his father always telling him green tea was one of his favorite beverages to partake in. The kai warrior always wanted to try some for himself. He entered the establishment with hopeful smile on his face.

You could say the hostess was quite surprised at the sight of Gee. She quickly had to regain her professional composure as Gee approached her. Her words stumbled out of her mouth as she asked what he would like.

“May I sit at one of your tables to enjoy the foods of this establishment?” Gee asked. His social skills felt a bit rusty. Interacting with various races and people from all over Other World made Gee feel a little nervous talking to normal humans once again.

The hostess nodded and politely smiled as she walked him to a booth next to a window. As Gee sat down he could see the crowd of people staring at him from outside. He turned his attention back to the inside of the restaurant. The hostess informed him that his waitress would be with him momentarily. The kai guardian nodded as he sat patiently alone.

Gee scanned the restaurant with his eyes as he began to people watch. There was a teen couple enjoying their bowls of ramen. Across the restaurant an old woman devouring a large plate of Japanese curry. Nearby Gee noticed a family getting up to leave after they had finished their meal. The father of the family was trying to help his son maneuver his wheelchair around various chairs and tables with much difficulty.

Without hesitating, Gee arose from his booth and walked towards the family. The father and son both looked at the strange man approaching them with a confused and surprised look on their faces.

“May I help, sir?” Gee asked with a kind smile on his face.

The father grumbled as he returned to trying to push the chair alone. The son was empathetic enough to thank Gee for his gesture.

“Don’t mind my father,” the boy said, “but we have gone through worse.”

Gee looked over and saw that the old wheelchair that was stuck around one of the restaurant’s seats. He turned his attention back towards the boy.

“I believe I can help you,” Gee began to inquire again. “May I?”

The frustrated father sighed loudly. “Fine!” he shouted sternly at the kai guardian’s plea. The dad quickly let go of the chair and gestured rudely for Gee to attempt whatever he had in mind. Gee would later find out that it had been a long and difficult day for the two of them.

But, unlike the help they were expecting, Gee focused for a moment as he channel a small amount of god ki into his palm. His hand glowed a faint hue of blue as he gently reached forward and laid his hand upon the boy’s head. After a moment the glow faded as Gee removed his hand from the boy’s scalp.

“There you go, young man,” Gee smiled. The father and his son did not know how this stranger helped them. His dad was about to set off on a tirade on Gee’s interruption until his son noticed a strange sensation.

“I--I can feel my legs!” the boy claimed. The father looked at his son confused. The young man began to move his feet from the wheelchair straps.

“I can move my feet!” the boy cried with tears of joy. The father gasped with excitement at this miracle that happened to them. They both began to thank Gee constantly whatever “magic” he had performed. Gee, while staying humble, appreciated their thanks of gratitude and returned to his booth.

The waitress, while navigating past the ecstatic family, walked over to Gee and complimented him on, her words, “whatever he did to cheer up that pain in the ass customer”. She hoped that family would leave her a better tip now.

The kai warrior smiled as he did his best to ignore her selfish thinking. The waitress asked him what he would want to drink as she handed him a menu.

“I would like a hot green tea please,” Gee asked. The waitress rolled her eyes and walked to the kitchen to fetch Gee’s order. The kai warrior sighed quietly as he buried his attention to the menu. Getting used to people is going to take some time.

Forte looked around in exciment as he had walked through the mall. He had on a normal outfit with a sword on his back, forgetting his shield. He went through a few shops looking around and trying on clothes and items. He then came upon the game store, he loved games.

After a few minutes of buying a few games, he saw the blue man and almost fell down a bit. He ignored the man and took it off his mind, dashing from store to store before stopping to look at the Japanese restaurant.

He walked inside and there again was the blue guy!, the hostress looked forte up and down before asking him how may she help him "Uh, Table for one please." He asked still looking at the blue Kai. The hostess escorted him to a table in the center of the restaurant. He slowly placed out his bag and looked for some money to pay. The waitress was in his face before he knew it and was now asking what would you like. Forte quickly looked in the menu and then, closed it. "Ramen Noodles, for me." She quickly wrote it down and gave him a warm smile before asking him does he want anything else.

Forte shaked his head and the waitress nodded, going into the kitchen to make the order. Forte seen a girl walking towards him and he fell out his chair. "Are you OK?" The girl asked with worry in her voice. "Yeah i'm fine!" He got up fixed the chair and sat in it. "So what's your name?" The girl asked moving close to forte face "FOOOOOOOOOORRT-" Forte face lit red as she did so and he hid it by going under the table. The girl slowly walked away as she loudly called him a wierdo. He went back up into his seat and slowly looked around embarrassed, awaiting his food.

"Hmm." Forte kicked his feet as he was still awaiting his food, the waitress walked to him and sat down his food in front of him. "Ma'am, you forgot my drink." The waitress growled a bit and asked him what kind he would like. "A sprite, please." She went to the kitchen and came back with his spirte and, sat it down. Forte took a sip out of his drink and waited for his ramen to cool off a bit.

So this was what the humans called a shopping mall. It was much more underwhelming than he expected. Just humans selling the skins of animals as 'clothing', and more humans selling the meat as food. Disgusting, but he could not judge other races on their eating habits, it would be cliche, and unethical.

He began to browse, 'window shopping', attracting a few concerned, amused, and rude expressions. He couldn't act all high and mighty, as his kind would respond the same way to the humans. Except they would be looking up at them.

"Hey, little man. The circus is that way!" One particularly ugly human said. Hair in a disgusting red Mohawk, teeth the color of rotten eggs, and his breath was in desperate need of cleansing. Jaco looked up, annoyed, before the human squatted down. His first mistake. "Oh, my bad. I guess you couldn't hear me all the way of there, could you?" Strike two, and Jaco wished he had a bat right then.

"I don't want trouble, I'm just looking around." Jaco said, voice on the edge of anger, but still trying to keep calm.

"How? You would need a ladder to see through any of the windows!" Strike three, and four, just because that statement made no sense. He clenched his fist, before sighing, a small crowd surrounding him, pulling out cameras and phones.

Come on, don't harm the natives, don't harm the natives... He thought, gritting his teeth, before taking a breath, and loosened his fist.

"Can you shut up? That excuse of air you call 'breath' is fogging up my vision." He said calmly, causing the crowd around them to go dead silent. Th alien smirked, before walking past the human, bumping him out of the way. "My bad. I couldn't see you down here." He added, before leaving the circle of humans.

He walked past a small restaurant, and while he wasn't hungry, checking the place out wouldn't hurt. At least, he hoped so. He walked in, nodded to the hostess, and pointed a small gloved finger towards a table.

"I would like a seat please, ma'am." He said politely, the woman looking down at him, before sighing, and smiling at the Patrolman. "Right this way... sir. You aren't the first blue man to come here today." She said, leading him to a table, where he sat down, scowling slightly about the height of the table. His look of displeasure faded, as he turned and nodded to the hostess. "Thank you." He said curtly, as the woman walked away.

He took this time to scan the area, looking around for anything interesting, before his gaze settled on someone who seemed... inhuman. He stared at Gee for a while, watching him intently, carefully, and excitedly. This was, what one would call 'awesome', as he watched the Kai heal the disabled boy with ease, something that even the most recent interstellar technology couldn't do.

He flipped open his com, and began to search more information on him.

Nothing, odd.

He was disappointed, but also pleasantly intrigued. Mysteries were always interesting, and this would be an interesting report to send back to HQ. He crossed his arms, before a waitress approached him, asking him what he would want to drink.

"Milk please, most of the other beverages on this planet aren't as appealing." He said, causing the waitress to raise an eyebrow, and turn away, muttering something about strange customers. He slipped out of his chair, and walked towards this mysterious warrior, arms crossed.

"That was quite the stunt you pulled there. Mind if I ask you a few questions?" He asked, staring blankly at the Kai.
