Hell was an odd place a large pond full of blood housing the souls of the many damned, those who committed such atrocities the only just punishment was centuries of drowning in a putrid red liquid. Surrounding this nightmare of the guilty was…a park complete with boat rides a playground and bizarrely enough food stands. For a time hundreds of souls guilty of minor acts of evil not worthy for heaven but not guilty enough for extended punishment before reincarnation flocked. This park now stood empty of such souls, instead standing in their place were demons and corrupted warriors granted bodies by the dark magicks of Shula’s underlings. The place served as recruitment grounds of sorts, demons in elaborate diving suits reclaimed dark souls from the pond every hour, while fresh souls sent here were caught before they were trapped under the bloody pond. Other less corrupt souls or those reserved for even greater punishments interested in joining Shula’s side found their way here eventually one way or another. In the distance the gathering army could see a castle like structure in construction. In the more immediate vicinity were King Shula and his four generals. The powerful and loyal Gola, the beautiful yet deadly Melee, the Machiavellian Lord Yao and the utterly monstrous four armed giant Brawr. The king of Demon land took recruitment very seriously ever week baring mission he himself would handle the placement of promising warriors. After handing a Spartan looking robot off to train under his General Lord Yao. The demon king approached another warrior in the crowd one that seemed to hold some promise. “You there! Tell me now what is your name, how did you die and for what sins did that fool above damn you here.” The king of demons asked pointing to the figure in the distance, his demonic aura seemed to concentrate on the individual, forcing those around him away as if to highlight who it was he was talking to. |

After battling the demon at "Needle Mountain" Khaos had found himself near the Blood Pond. He was among a crowd of demons trying to ignore their mindless chatter. Every time one of the demons spoke it only furthered his annoyance. It was a difficult task trying to get their voices to fade into the background. Luckily enough he was able to slightly do so with the aid of the screaming sounds coming those souls that seemed to be damned to drowning inside the Blood Pond. It was those screams coming from the souls that brought peace to the future god's mind. If it wasn't for that; then it would almost be a sure bet that he would have allowed himself to go into a controlled rage and rip each and every one of the surrounding demons limb from limb until there was nothing left of them but a pile of destroyed bodies and more blood to fill the pond not to far off in the distance. From behind him a voice rang out that separated itself from the crowd. The tone of the voice itself was enough to get his attention. The addition that after the voice had finished speaking the entire crowd of demons started to slowly back away. Allowing his body to turn around Khaos came face to face with a purplish looking figure. A strange red symbol was etched on this figures forehead. Peering deep into the eyes of this figure he started to sense that this beings aura was the only that he had met so far that was more evil than his own. Letting a smaller version of his signature sinister smile creep onto his face Khaos began to fold his arms in front of him before speaking. " My name is Khaos and I do not know as to how I died yet seeing how someone had to sneak up on me and instead of having the gall to show me their face; had to vaporize me from behind. However that giant Oaf above didn't damn me here. I was placed here with out judgement. " Looking this figure in the eyes still he tried to get a baring on who he was as he spoke. What he said was the truth while yes he had earlier on talked to King Yamma he didn't need to be judged. Khaos only appeared before Yamma so the other souls didn't feel as if they were unworthy of automatically being placed in one of the After Life Realms. Khaos' soul itself was one of a purely evil nature. Only the depths of Hell were suited for him anytime he was to meet death. Which of course this was one of those times and he'd be damn sure to make the best of it. Continuing to peer into the eyes of this figure he began to tap his fingertips upon his forearms for a couple of seconds before asking a question of his own. " And may I ask of you; your name sir? " He asked this question as a way to get on a first name basis with whomever it was that decided to pick him out of the crowd and speak with the future god of darkness. His fingertips rested and quit tapping on his forearms as he now peered deeper into this figures eyes waiting for an answer and trying to gauge just how evil this being truly was. WC: 575 |

The demon king stood as Khaos explained his circumstances he seemed disinterested at first as he explained the circumstances surrounding his death, however as he explained that it was by his will that he came to be in hell Shula’s interest peaked. It was a bold claim to say the least that one’s soul was so black and that ones will was so strong that they could bring themselves to this land of the damned. However he sensed no deception in his words. “I see, interesting.” The demon king took a moment to examine the being before him, while not terribly strong his Ki practically oozed evil making many of his underlings appear pious in comparison. Khaos politely enquired about Shula name, it went far as Shula formed an impression of the being before him. “I am Shula, King of demon Land and leader of its army.” The demon king began to approach Khaos, had the other worldly being not noticed it before he would instantly realize that Shula, his generals and many of the more disciplined demons and soldiers on the outskirts of the park were all alive. “You show some promise among the potential recruits here and I require more powerful warriors if I am to conquer every the realm of the dead within the decade. Will you pledge yourself to my cause?” |

So this; this was the king of the mighty demon army. The figure before him was none other than King Shula. It made complete sense to tell the truth. The amount of evil that radiated of this beings essence made his own seem a little bit more holy. The key phrase there was "A little bit". The future god of darkness could tell before Shula even cared to speak again that something evil and twisted was running through the kings mind. It wasn't the demon kings body language but just the look in the eyes of the demon king. Then it was all laid out on the line in front of him like an open book. The demon king himself had just asked the future god of darkness to join his ranks. It was exactly what he wanted but Khaos didn't want to seem like a giddy little school girl and get overly excited. Truth was while yes it fit perfectly into his plans he wasn't the type of being to get overly excited about anything. Khaos was far smarter than what he had been while living on Earth. He had learned how to see the bigger picture; and that was a flaw all to many beings shared. They saw what was laid out in front of them; the small picture of the events unfolding in the present. None of them even cared or hinted to think about the distant future or the much larger picture as time went on. The future god of darkness made sure that is what was going to set him apart. He no longer acted upon impulse. No; he had matured greatly upon arriving in Hell even if his time there so far had been short. Khaos knew that his actions shouldn't be measured by what unfolded by his actions in a month or years time. He now knew he must calculate his actions according to what may happen tens of thousands of years from now. With that in mind he knew exactly what he was going to do. Peering deeply into the eyes of the demon king again Khaos allowed his sinister smile to appear on his face once again. " I won't lie to you King Shula I must decline pledging my allegiance to any others cause but my own. " His tone was cold and deranged; but one couldn't expect anything less from a being as evil natured as himself. Continuing to stare into the demon kings eyes he spoke again. " Due to what has happened in my past I've learned you can't trust anyone other than yourself. Hidden agendas and the deeply rooted evil tendencies of other beings have showed me that once their use for you is used up they will cast you aside and if need be have you killed. " Taking a short breath Khaos continued to peer into the demon kings eyes. Slowly lifting his right arm up off his left forearm he extended it forward towards Shula and the sinister smile grew. " However don't mistake that as me telling you no. I will gladly accept a position inside your army and one day hope to rise in rank until I am one of those you consider worthy of courting in a counsel among your generals when war arises and battle strategies must be made. " The future god of darkness kept his hand extended forward hoping that Shula would accept the gesture and show him a sign of respect and shake his hand. Speaking once more he hopped his final words would give closure to any confusion his previous words may have cast. " I give you my WORD that I will not betray you nor will I attempt to deify you recommendations so long as they have both of our best interest in mind. You may consider me your ally and when the time beckons I will be ready to fight for you if one day either here in the realm of the damned or in the living realm if you are to make an appearance will return the favor. " So there it was; Khaos had laid his own terms out on the table. The future god of darkness had learned from his time on Earth through Gatz and the Haven on what it took to become not only a successful business man but how to allow oneself honor and pride to take a back seat to benefit the best interest of not only himself but those he chose to associate with. His right hand still extended it was now time to see if the demon king Shula would accept or simply decline the offer laid out before the king himself. Shula’s eyes narrowed as he looked to Khaos though softened as the self-titled ‘god of darkness’ explained his position. As Khaos finished the demon king nodded in response. “Your allegiance is enough I suppose. Follow me.” The demon king walked out of the gap made in the crowd of dead souls and demon which slowly reclosed behind Khaos as he followed. The demon king lead the being to another part of the park where his four generals resided with their own armies, they all seemed to be in the process of training. “All those in my army must work themselves up from the bottom regardless of potential. You will become a part of one of my four field armies, each of them led by one of my generals. You decide which of my champions you serve under and in return they will train you.” Shula stopped in front of a group of heavily armoured souls and demons, the group were in the middle of combat drill lead by a small giant of a man who was oddly unarmoured. “This is Gola; he was once naught but a farmer however he gained a remarkable amount of power and my respect. His army is concerned with defence of our territory here in hell. Most of the soldiers you see here serve under him.” The demon king resumed walking and stopped again at another group of soldiers this time half were sparring while the other half were practicing their techniques under command of a female demon in blue. They to better fit the idea of an organized army than any other. “This is Melee, despite her royal status she is quite the unknown in the demon realm, most because she has killed anyone that has met her in combat. Her army is my sword targeting cutting down the foes I direct her towards.” Walking onwards the demon king reached a new group this one seemed more focused on cleaning, manufacturing and maintaining weaponry and armour that had even gone so far as to construct some small settlement. “This wretch is demon lord Yao, he cares nothing for demonic tradition his only concern is wealth but he is loyal for now. He leads an army doubles as my labour force, every region he conquers he strips bare or constructs fortresses for my benefit." Shula then moved to Brawr a giant four armed demon woman that dwarfed Gola and even most oozaru. The giant seemed to be in the middle of combat with her own army a harsh form of training indeed. “And this is Brawr, ancient enemy of my family and now my servant.” Brawr’s giant ears were clearly not for show as the demoness twist in the air and thrust her fist right towards Shula and Khaos. The demon king didn’t flinch and merely lifted up his hand and blocked the blow with his open palm. Despite creating a shock wave strong enough to nearly blow Khaos away, the demon king stood firmly on the ground. “You’re not strong enough yet, keep trying.” The giant grumbled a light before returning to fight her own soldiers. “She and her army serve as my hammer, crushing the fortifications and armies of those infernal kai beneath them. Brawr is an indiscriminate destroyer and the role of her army is to complement that being dividing the attention of our enemies and carrying other objectives while she is destroying.” After this Shula returned to the small settlement Yao’s forces had constructed and turned to Khaos at last asking him a simple question. “Now then you’ve met my elite. Which of these armies do you wish to fight with Khaos?” |

After hearing Shula agree to his terms; Khaos did what Shula had asked and began to follow behind him. Taking in the surroundings. A few moments had passed when other demon like beings came into view. Shula started speaking and he began to listen closely. He was being given a choice of which of these four he wished to train under. Once he had heard what each of their placements where in Shula's army the choice was quite simple for the him. While all of them appealed to him in their own way; only one above the rest of those spoke the loudest to him. Slowly allowing his arms to fold in front of his chest Khaos allowed his sinister little smirk to appear on his face once again. " I could see the usefulness that each one of these generals could provide for me. However King Shula only one of them seems like the right choice. " Allowing his arms to drop back to his sides Khaos started to pace back and forth for a second before finally heading in one direction. " I above all other things at my core was made for one thing. Pure destruction and conquering; I am a destroyer so I find it only fitting thing I should train under this massive entity name Brawr. " Staring up at the massive being that Shula announced as being Brawr, it was indeed the only correct choice for the future god of darkness to make. After all while yes he may be a long ways away from reaching that status again; he already had a title known as "The Destroyer". " So what is it that you would have me do first while under the lead of Brawr King Shula? " It was a quick and simple question but an important one. He didn't want to waste much time; Khaos knew his time in the after life wouldn't last forever so he wanted to get as much done and become as powerful as he possibly could before being sent back to the living realm. The only thing for him to do now was wait for the Demon King to answer his question and give him his first task. WC: 367 TWC: 1,733 |

Shula nodded to self-proclaimed destroyer, while his expression remained subdued he seemed impressed by Khaos’s decision. “It is rare to see a recruit choose to work under Brawr. I have high hopes for you.” The demon king chose his words deliberately, he seemed to be instilling into the warrior the notion that he recognized his unique abilities but wanted him to none the less earn his position in his army like all others. On being questioned about a potential mission, Shula nodded. The demon king’s army needed to be active, every attack had to be planned out months ahead, and it had to be thanks to getting souls from all over the universe regularly. Every second the balance between their forces could be tipped after all. “There is something yes, one moment please.” Turning to another small ogre like demon, Shula spoke to him for a moment. Suddenly the demon struck a gong signalling for all of Brawr’s forces to gather around. The large number of warriors gathered in a crowd both on the ground and in the air. Brawr barely reacted only turning to face the demon king. Given the size of her ears there was probably very little she couldn’t hear. “Brawr’s newest mission is to destroy Domen dungeon, it is where the warriors of the accursed Kai have placed souls loyal to our cause following their defeat. It is a humiliating structure crafted and enhanced in such a way that makes escape from a prison cell almost impossible.” ![]() The image of a dungeon’s cell appeared, projected by some kind of arcane magic. A warrior was forced into the prison, and slowly but surely the beings body dissolved turning back into a simple harmless soul. “Of course from the outside it poses no major threat beyond the guards. Brawr will be able to topple this structure however those working with her must infiltrate the fortress first. Brawr has very little patience or finesse and so you will need to destroy key walls in the structure to allow for those imprisoned souls to escape before Brawr topples the structure, you’ll will then need to keep guards from signalling to the kai and following that aid Brawr in defeating the remaining guards." The demon king explained the plan, as the image of a red ogre holding up a bizarre metal torch to the air, a grand light burst from the torch up to the heavens as warriors from above the impenetrable clouds suddenly descended. “Be careful to all souls in my army do not enter the prison cells yourself lest its magic begin to work on you and Once Brawr arrives exit the entire dungeon for if you become crushed under the enchanted hell stone there is a chance you may never be able to escape from it.” |

Hearing what the demon king Shula had to say about his choice brought his sick, twisted, and sinister smile onto his face. However there wouldn't be any wasted motion which he actually enjoyed when it came to the battle plays and strategies among this army. Gather around with the rest of the army Khaos took his place somewhere in the front of the line but off to the side as to not get in the way of the more experienced members of Shula's army. Listening to every word the demon king spoke, and soaking up every bit of information he gave about the plan like a sponge he started to formulate his own plan inside his dark and deranged mind. While yes he was going to act according to the plan and aid in the over all goal. His intent wasn't just to follow the orders like any normal member of Shula's army. After all "The Destroyer" had one thing going for him that the others inside this army did not. That one reason was due to the fact that he wasn't a demon but instead an entity that would one day rise to reclaim his status as the "God of Darkness". A little bit more time passed by as Shula continued to lay out his plans and what results he expected from the mission at hand. Finally once the demon king was finished giving his instructions it was time for Brawr's section of the army to head out and get the job done; however before he planned on doing that planned on speaking with the demon king himself alone one last time before heading out.. Watching as the rest of the army started to follow in front, underneath, beside, and behind the massive titan like demon Brawr Khaos opted to stay behind and instead approached Shula. " If I request your indulgence for a moment sir I'd like to speak my mind for a moment. " Slowly walking towards the demon king; Khaos folded his arms behind his back and looked Shula in the eyes before speaking. " I thought the plan you just laid out was smart and well thought out, however I was wondering If i may offer a minor alteration as far as my role is concerned sir. " Taking a quick second to think of how to put his altered plan into words he thought of the way to phrase it. After doing so in his head he stood there with his arms still behind his back ready to speak agian. " I completely understand where you're coming from with your plan however I think with me being the newest recruit into the army and by all means if i'm wrong here correct me; In being so new you don't fully know how to utilize my talents and abilities to the fullest to achieve your goals." Taking another second he was allowing Shula time to process what he was saying before speaking again. After all the last thing he wanted to do was disrespect the demon king in his own realm. "You see Sir there are two main things that I think will allow me to eventually rise through the ranks in your army and not only become a major factor in your future plans, but also separates me from the rest of those in your massive army. " Taking a slow breath he began to talk again. " The first being that your army is made of up of well Demons; and I myself am not one. In fact To be honest with you sir I have no real birth but an origin. I am an entity that was created at the same time all the universe were created... That's a story for another time though when we have the time for it... The second reason being while yes I am here in the realm of the damned for now. Sooner or later I will be reborn back into the realm of the living until I feel Deaths tender touch once again. " Letting his sinister smile form Khaos was starting to feel more confident in his words, not only because he believed them, not because they were all true, but because he knew whether or not Shula believed him now or not eventually the day would come that he would realize everything said on this day was fact and not fiction. "So to wrap all this up so I can get your thoughts then get to work I'll finish off with this.. I have Special abilities I can use; one of them being able to open up a rift in the fabric of reality itself. So instead of me escaping while Brawr tears down the structure. We make sure all the demons in your army and those souls we free escape. While I draw the guards and any others trying to thwart our plans to me and fight them until the structure is nothing but pebbles and shards of stone. Then Either I'll see you once the job is done and you know what I've said here is truth; or that I was nothing but talk and a false profit and be a soul lost between realms until the ends of time. " He was all about done speaking until you could almost swear a sudden flash of light sped through Khaos' eyes. " That's all I really wanted to say at this moment sir. I just wanted to let you know on my idea of how I could help aid this plan better and how you might be able to better use me in the future. So now if you wish I wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts before I go help Brawr complete this mis... " Khaos quit mid sentence and his sinister smile grew larger. " Oh wait that's right there was one final thing I wanted to put out there for you to think and debate on as time goes on. I've done my research and studied up quite a bit about not only Lucifer but yourself as well. Some of the information was hard to obtain but I found it worth it. For one key thing I stumbled upon was about Nanatsusaya. Not only that but how there is one key factor over looked about the legendary sword. While yes one exist in the demon realm. Another exists among the realm of the living. With your permission and guidance; when it is my time to return to the living realm. I wish to seek out the second Nanatsusaya sword and when ready wage war and bring you and the demon army to the surface. " With that Khaos was finally done speaking and wasting valuable time from the demon king. He was ready to listen to any rebuttal Kind Shula had to offer and take an advice under consideration. Then Khaos would do what needed to be done and destroy the structure and free those poor trapped demon souls. WC: 1163 TWC: 2,896 |

The demon king descended to the ground just as the gathered army began to dispearse, just then however the destroyer kail approached Shula with a proposal reguarding his mission. “Go on?” It seemed the destroyer had a unique nature allowing him travel through something he called the rift allowing him to hold back the guards within the Domen dungeon for longer and granting his forces and the souls more time to potentially escape. However it was the mention of his self-ressurection that caught his attention. “Well now don’t be so presumtious, I’ve recruited many souls from the hell. And I’ve personally resurrected some soldiers as well. I must admit however your nature however is quite odd Self-resurrection magic is typical neigh-impossible though teleportation is slightly more mundane." Shula paused and pondered whether to grant the warrior’s request. Given this permission he could theoretically target specific high ranked soldiers accompanying him trapping them under the hell stone. However his ki was so dark and evil it seemed unlikely the kai would make a arrangement with such a person. “I have my reservations but I will permit you this request…do not betray this trust.” There was not threat spoken, the implication was enough. Having conquered a portion of hell already he could theoretically inflict a variety of tortures greater then any one had suffered in the living realm. Just then as Shula was about to bid the warrior farewell only for Khaos to make one other request. The demon king was about to dismiss him however with the mention of his sword and a great understanding of the blades Shula stayed and listened to the warriors second request. “Interesting, few know the name of my swords. Both of the Nanatsusaya were forged from a portion of my soul I am linked to them, I will not permit just anyone to weild it. However if you are successful in the mission I have tasked you I will consider permiting you to seek out the sword and will advise your search for them. We will discuss in greater detail later, for now you have your mission.” Shula said as he took to the sky and left the warrior to his mission. The demon king had many more plans to overlook and students to train. |
