"Come on, Gohan!" the pig-tailed Videl Son giggled out as she pulled Gohan along by the arm. It had been a while since the husband and wife got to go out at all and just enjoy themselves. Videl had long ago reverted back to her classic pig-tailed look, feeling a bit of nostalgia and all, and now she just wanted to spend some time with her husband Gohan. The thought of Gohan being her husband was still something that made the tomboyish crime fighter blush, even after all of these years. Gohan was really everything she could have ever wanted in a husband.

Gohan was busy being a scholar, and she was busy raising Pan and training when they weren't seeing each other. Due to how busy they both were, they didn't often get to spend as much time as they wanted to with each other, and recently, Videl had wanted to change that. Even after all of these years, Videl was still just as much in love with Gohan as she was back when they were in high school. If anything, the affection she felt for him had only grown stronger since then, and even though these feelings made her feel a bit girly at times, she was still perfectly happy.

Now in Satan City Mall, Videl had pulled Gohan along to take a look at some of the more tomboyish outfits that Videl had set her sights on. No matter how old she got, Videl would stay the tomboyish girl she was when Gohan and her had first met. Even when in housewife mode, with the cleaning and cooking she did, or the child rearing with Pan, she was still the same Videl that had chased after the Great Saiyaman, still the same Videl that had learned how to fly from her beloved Gohan.

Pulling Gohan into a store that caught her eye, she grinned a bit to herself and started pulling some oversized t-shirts, gloves, shorts, and boots off of racks and mannequins, and looked at them approvingly. She nodded her head and felt that they were perfect for her, but decided to get a second opinion from her wonderful half-alien husband Gohan. Turning to look up at Gohan, her crystal blue eyes blinked repeatedly as she fluttered her delicate eyelashes at him, grinning up at him, and proceeded to go through the clothing items that she had pulled off the clothing items.

She started placing them over her front, modeling them a bit and showing them off to her son. "What do you think, Gohan? Be honest, you know by now I'm not the typical girl that enjoys being lied to if something doesn't look good on me" she said, asking for his opinion. Even though they were both fairly busy, unlike when they first started dating in high-school all those years ago, Videl still liked finding time for the two of them to spend together. No matter how busy either of them got, Videl always made sure they would have time for each other.

It was an early spring beautiful day in Hercule City. The birds were singing a happy little tune up high in the sky. The citizens were happily humming to themselves as laughter and sounds of joy filled the area. The sun shining bright upon the scene as not a single cloud interfered in the lovely setting.

Which was simply perfect for two specific individuals on that day.

"I'm coming, I'm coming..." Gohan started to say as Videl eagerly lead him by the hand to one of the many stores she had spotted, "Wait hold on Videl, you are going to pull my arm off."

Gohan believed no matter how strong he could and would get, nothing would save him from the mighty brawn that came from his lovely wife. Whether it be fighting crime on the streets of Hercule City, raising Pan, or simply shopping for the perfect outfit, Videl always had that fierce determination. It was one of the many things that attracted Gohan to her.

And though over the years since high school their lives as well as their relationship had evolved, their love never changed. Their love always had been as strong as they day their first fell in love. And it was during these moments, moments where the two of them were away from their busy lives, away from their responsibilities, away from everyone, just the two of them all alone to spend some well-deserved time and intimacy together, that their love for each other glimmered that very fact. Even just the two of them shopping, their love for each other was evident.

Which was why when Videl lunged right in, grabbing whatever she deemed worthy, Gohan could not help but laugh to himself. Videl didn't know it, but she was being rather cute. For though it was always clear Videl preferred to be a bit more tomboyish, the fact remained she was still a woman at heart, which meant seeing her doing things deemed "girly" like getting giddy over new outfits was quite a sight to see.

"Well Videl, you know that isn't a fair question to ask, because you know no matter what you put on, you will always look beautiful," Gohan replied with a little smile, "But if you want a straight answer, I did like that first outfit...and that third outfit looked rather nice. But ultimately it's your decision. Whatever you like, whatever makes you happy, than that's all that matters."

Gohan placed his hands on the back of his neck as he continued to watch his wife of many wonderful years shifting through the racks of clothes, looking for the right combination needed to assemble the very best outfit. It amazed him that even after all they had been through together. From high school to college to getting married to conceiving Pan, etc. that the two of them only seemed to yearn each other more.

Which was only a testament to how strong their love for each other truly was.

Hearing Gohan's response had caused her to smile and blush at him in appreciation. Gohan was really such a sweetheart, and she really appreciated the excellent job Chi-Chi did at raising her husband. Gohan was a true gentleman, a sweetheart, so utterly adorable, and yet handsome at the same time. It always amazed her how someone as strong as her Gohan could be so gentle and kind. His loving, caring antics that he showed her never ceased to make her weak in the knees or make her swoon like she was still a teenager.

No matter how many years Gohan and Videl spent together, no matter how much they learned about each other, Videl still felt very much like a teenager who swooned over her crush. Oh sure, she was a 31 year old woman these days, not at all a teenager, but despite that, the way Gohan made her feel with his loving, gentle antics still made her feel like they were in the lovey-dovey stage teenagers got into when they first entered a relationship. Even after 13 years of marriage, Gohan could still make her swoon and giggle like a teenage girl.

With the bright, tomato-red blush still on her face, she did her best to scowl up at Gohan and glare at him, which failed due to said blush making her look more adorable rather than intimidating. "S-Stupid, don't say such things in public! People might hear you!" she stuttered out, trying to do her best to scold him. Videl wasn't really the girly type, she had her girly moments, of course, but the gentle, loving manner Gohan treated her with never ceased to make her heart flutter, never ceased to turn her into a puddle of goop. She always got embarrassed when he did it in public, as she did her damnedest to come off like a tough girl.

Videl smiled up at her tall, handsome husband of 13 years, appreciating his honesty. One of the rules she had wanted to establish in their relationship was that they would be honest with each other, whether it be with what they're wearing, or whatever else. They kept no secrets from each other, they were always honest and upfront with each other. It was one of the things that caused their marriage to last as long as it has. Considering the huge lie with her Father claiming to beat Cell and all, honesty had become one of her most valued traits in a man, which Gohan had in spades.

"Then I'll get those outfits specifically, Gohan. I want to always look my best for you, even though I still want to be me when I do so. You always deserve my absolute best, honey" she said with a giggle as she stood up on her tippy toes to kiss his cheek, before quickly placing the items she wasn't going to buy in their respective places and then leading him up to the cashier's place. She eagerly paid the cashier, and grabbed the bags her chosen items were placed in. Once that was done, she locked hands with Gohan, an action that once again made her blush, and walked out of the store with him.

God, spending time with Gohan always made her feel like she was back in highschool again. She was really the luckiest girl in the world, to have such a kind, caring, gentle yet strong, gentlemanly husband. She thanked all the deities in her existence every night for being blessed with having such a caring man as her husband. If she didn't have such a fine control over herself, she would just skip everywhere as she lead her husband by the hand through the mall.

"Oh come on Videl, don't tell me the daughter of the mighty Hercule Satan is getting embarrassed over a simple compliment?" Gohan teased playfully as he laughed at his wife's blushing face. It was well-known since they first met in high school that Videl was a woman that hated showing any signs of weakness in public. Perhaps it was her father and his self-made legacy, albeit most of it was based on lies and schemes but Gohan liked the guy and say no real fault towards the man, father-in-law or not. Whatever it was though, Videl was one tough gal and she made that perfectly clear on a daily basis.

See wasn't into "girly" things, least not on the surface. But deep down, Gohan could see her heart melt whenever he complimented her beauty or kissed her sweetly on the lips in public. She usually scowled him afterwards for doing so, like she had just did, but when she did, it never came off as venomous. It usually made Videl look more adorable. Which often caused Gohan to tease his wife in a loving manner, only making his wife blush even more. It was a cycle that never got old for him.

And as she took his hand in hers, leading him out of the store after purchasing her fill of clothes for the time being, Gohan couldn't help but smile at Videl. For that simple gesture was enough to show him that the tough tomboy he had known since his days at Orange Star High was indeed just as much a doe-eyed beautifully innocent romantic of a woman as the next girl. Gohan just knew how to bring that out of her. Which was one of the reasons Videl loved him so.

"Oh come on Videl, you know all I ever want is for you to be you," Gohan replied as his hand lightly squeezed hers as they walk back down the streets of Hercule City.

As he spoke, Gohan stopped in his tracks, halting their advances as he pulled his blushing wife towards him, catching her in his arms as he wrapped them around her waist. Peering into her eyes for a moment, Gohan smiled brilliantly as he sighed happily.

"I don't want you to ever change, Videl. It was you that I fell in love with. And it will be you that I will always love. So there is nothing you need to be but yourself, Videl. That's all I ever ask from you."

His words were soft yet bold, a command that was sweet and true. He knew that Videl would most likely be flustered by his comments yet would admire them as well. She, like most wives, always wanted to be their best for their husbands, but to Gohan, that wasn't as difficult as Videl believed. For in his eyes, she was always her best without even trying.

And as he held her in his arms, he kissed her passionately on the lips, showing her so.

Her eyelashes fluttered open and closed a bit as her blush deepened over the teasing Gohan was doing with her. She did her best to try and scold him as they walked through the mall holding hands, judging by the way she kept turning back to look at him every so often and opened her mouth to say something, but wound up closing it once more. Every time she failed to say something, she would look away from him, try to clear her throat, and look back at him, openly for the blush on her face to grow brighter again and again.

The interesting thing about their relationship, was that before they got together, Gohan was rather shy and nervous towards her while she was bossy, pushy, and confident, but now that they got together, the roles were reversed. Videl was shy towards him when it came to romance and teasing, and Gohan had all the confidence in the world. Even after all of these years, Videl was still rather schoolgirl-like when it came to her relationship with Gohan, just the romantic gestures and such. Being such a tomboy and all, the rather girlish shyness she showed never ceased to be comical.

"It's what you do to me, Gohan. You make my heart flutter and race in ways I've never felt before, and I don't want to feel that with anyone but you" she admitted to him in a bit of a sheepish manner. Gohan's love, affection, and all around gentlemanly manner made her feel like she was the most special girl in the world. Gohan is special to her in ways no one else could ever compare, he could just bring so many girly, wonderful feelings out of her. She had an image as a tough, no-nonsense girl that would rather slug it out with the boys than put on makeup and squeal over boys and fashion, and yet despite that, the way he treated her made her feel like a woman of incomparable beauty.

Gohan's honesty never ceased to make her smile in a way that made her seem radiant. She graced her husband of 13 years with one of these radiant smiles, a smile meant only for him. Her blush had gone from dark red, to a nuclear level of red due to the amount of blood rushing to her face. Gohan's gentlemanly, affectionate mannerisms just brought out a side of her only he was special enough to see.

"I know, Gohan, and that's one of the many reasons why you're so special to me" she admitted to him shyly as they continued walking about looking through stores. However, in a flash, she had stopped in her tracks when Gohan stopped walking. Blinking in confusion, she turned around and looked up at her husband with half-lidded eyes, her head tilted to the side in an adorably curious manner, which caused her pigtails to slide down with the help of gravity. Her crystal blue eyes were alight with curiosity and confusion, wondering what was going on.

Her atomic blush was quickly back in it's place once more as she was pulled into his arms. Instinctively, she snuggled into his chest and wrapped her arms around his neck. Her eyes darted to the side every now and then, the shyness and embarrassment she was feeling over the public display of affection making her heart beat fast enough for her wonderful husband to feel, since they were pressed against each other. Hearing what he said caused her heart to beat even faster, and her face adopted an expression that let Gohan know Videl was pretty much melting in his arms.

"G-Gohan, I-" she stuttered out, before what she said was cut off by him pressing his lips against hers in a passionate kiss. The kiss sent a course of vibrant, incredible electrical shocks through her body in a pleasant sensation. It made her dizzy, made her see stars, and she quickly melted into the kiss. She eagerly kissed him back with as much passion and love as he showed her, the passion and love flowing between them taking her mind away from the knowledge that other people were around to see what they were doing. She no longer cared that they were in public, all she cared about was showing her husband how much she loved him once more.

Long gone were the days of Gohan fumbling about, unsure and confused as he tried to shuffle through the public high school system. He had been home-schooled prior, living a rather sheltered life regards to socializing and living what would be deemed a typical normal life. But that was the joy of it and one of the main reasons why he had convinced his mother to allow him to go to Orange Star High in the first place. And that decision had been one of the best he had ever made, considering the fact that his wife in his arms at that very moment, quickly melting in his presence, was the very same cocky bossy teenager he had met at that very school all that time ago.

Gohan didn't care about his surroundings. He didn't do it for them. He did it for her. Videl was just too special to go a whole day without being showed just how special she was to him. And as their lips attacked each other in the middle of the streets of Hercule City, Gohan's hands lovingly ran up and down her back before lifting her up slightly in the air, her toes just mere inches off the ground. Though they were lost in the moment, Gohan was well aware of where he was and knew not to take things too far. That would be saved for later, behind closed doors, but for now as he kept Videl in his arms, Gohan simply kept the kiss going for a few moments till finally pulling away and slowly putting her down.

A huge warm smile washed over his face as though they broke apart from the kiss, he still had her in his arms.

"I love you, Videl," Gohan spoke in a soothing tone as he pressed his forehead against hers, "I love you so much. You have no idea how much that is true, and no matter how much I tell you or show you this to be true, it still won't be enough. For my love for you is endless."

With his forehead still pressed up against his wife's, Gohan kissed her on the lips again. That time around soft and quick, a gentle little peck to aid his verbal flattering. Though everything he was saying was the truth, something that he believed deeply.

And as he pulled away from that kiss, he could see the look in Videl's eyes. It was as if she was a starstruck teenager who was finally meeting her idol. Her face redder than one of his mother's tomatoes in her garden. Videl was so adorable and if they had been back home at the very moment, he wouldn't hesitate to lead her up to their bedroom. But for now, he simply glazed into her eyes, getting lost in them for a few moments as he let the silence amplified their little intimate embrace.

"Come Videl," Gohan finally sighed happily, "The day is not over just yet."

Giving her forehead a kiss, the man known to Hercule City as The Great Saiyaman took one of his wife's, also known to the Hercule City as The Great Saiyagirl, hands in his own, squeezing it lovely before giving the back of her palm a sweet kiss as well.

"I know I don't get to spoil you as much as I like to nowadays but today it's all about you and me. So where ever you want to go, whatever you want to do. Just say the word, Videl."

Kissing her palm again, he smiled.

"For nothing is too good for you, honey."

As the two continued to kiss, the world, and all it's sights, sounds, and smells just melted away for Videl. Her eyes were shut tight as she enjoyed the pleasant, electrical sensation of Gohan's lips against her own. Videl's right hand moved up from Gohan's neck and fisted itself in his hair, running her hand through the spiky, yet surprisingly soft, ebony locks that she had found so utterly attractive on the Half-Saiyan. To Videl, it was like Gohan and her were in an endless void of white, nothing to be seen for countless miles in every direction except for the two of them.

Videl involuntarily let out a slight moan from between their lips when she felt Gohan's hand rub up and down her back, causing pleasurable shocks to run up and down her spine. Even as used to this as she was, Videl still felt the build up of tears in her eyes, tears of absolute pleasure and joy. It was only thanks to her semi-decent self-control in handling her emotions that she was able to suppress them. Just being with Gohan like this, with their lips locked and being encased in his strong arms made her feel more alive than at any other time in her life.

She was so deeply drowning in the pleasure of the kiss she was having with Gohan that she didn't even register when Gohan lifted her off of her feet. She didn't even notice that her feet weren't even making contact with the ground anymore. If anything, it only enhanced the feeling of floating on cloud nine that came over her whenever she was in one of these liplocks with her lovable husband of 13 years. It was like all of time had frozen itself around her, and they were sharing their love with one another for countless centuries in that one moment.

Eventually, though, the kiss had to come to an end. They eventually had to part, and Videl took deep breaths repeatedly, her chest heaving underneath her oversized shirt. Her lips were bruised in such a wonderful way, and her eyes eventually fluttered open. Her face was bright red once more, and the look in her eyes let Gohan know that he had dazed her with the wonderful love and passion he had shown to her in that moment. Her eyes had a glassy, far-off look to them that was quite common whenever they kissed like that.

The world came back to her when Gohan spoke to her, and what he said had caused her to blush even more than she already was. She was deeply touched by the honesty that came with the wonderful, loving words that her husband had said to her. "Gohan" she started to say, still a bit hazy and at a loss for words, before her lips were captured again in another kiss, this time a quick and soft one. The kiss, however, wasn't long enough for her to lose her mind once more, and instead, it helped her get back to a proper form of consciousness.

"Gohan, the way you make me feel brings out a side to me I never want to show anyone but you. No matter how tough I act, or how tomboyish I am, you always bring out the woman in me, a woman that feels like the most beautiful and wonderful woman in existence. Much like yourself, I can't put into mere words the amount of love I have for you. I could learn every language in the universe and every word in them, and I still wouldn't be able to describe how I feel. I want to love and cherish you even after all of existence comes to an end" she managed to get out.

After she said this, she pressed her face into his chest and snuggled into it, breathing in the manly scent of her husband. She fell pretty hard for him, and no matter how old she got, Gohan still made her feel like she was a teenager in high school again. Her feet finally pressed against the floor once more, and Videl just stood there with her arms wrapped around her wonderful husband, taking the time to enjoy the hard-packed muscles that he had.

She partially snapped out of her love-struck daze when he took hold of one of her hands, and told her to let the two of them continue on with their day. Her heartbeat raced once more as she watched him bring her hand up to his lips, and kiss the palm of it. She had taken her gloves off specifically for this outing because she wanted to feel the skin of her husband rubbing up against hers when they held hands, and now feeling his lips kiss her palm had kissed her to shudder in joy and pleasure.

As he kissed her palm again and talked about how today was just about the two of them, since he didn't get to spoil her as much as he wanted, Videl proceeded to smile in love-struck joy. Gohan was such a sweetheart, it really amazed her how sensitive and sweet her husband can be. Once again, like she had done so many times over the years, mentally thanked whatever Deity existed out there for blessing her with Gohan in her life. She didn't know where she'd be without him in her life, and didn't even want to imagine what she'd do without him in it.

"Silly Gohan, all you need to do to spoil me is just be who you are and make me feel all these wonderful things you bring out of me, with your kisses, your words, and so much more. You spoil me just from being the sweet and wonderful man you are. I don't need money or any material objects, I just need you" Videl said, sighing happily as she took the lead and leading him by the hand so they may continue their shopping. She was so lost in her daze of emotions that she didn't even remember where she wanted to go next.

Gohan was buzzing with so much thoughts and emotions. Chalk it up to human hormones or even his saiyan ones but Gohan was finally extremely difficult to keep a level head at the moment as he found himself once again being lead by the hand by his extremely desirable wife. All the innocent kissing and flirting between the two of them had worked Gohan up a bit more than he had expected it to. Yet another true testament to how deep their love for each other went. Even after all those years knowing each other and being with each other, Gohan still found it quite easy to adore her.

He had gotten a good whiff of her scent when she had pressed herself against his chest. She smelled sweet and delicious like strawberries, perhaps even a hint of cherries. Her skin was soft like silk and quite warm. Maybe a side effect to all the blushing she had been doing. Her lips had been tangy and filled with so much hunger. He could taste it so. Oh how it was almost torture to keep things from boiling over and erupting from deep within.

Luckily for him, Gohan was quite discipline and not even Videl's absolutely cute manner in which she tried to appear tough only to go weak at the knees around him could break him. Though it sure did try. One thing was certain in his mind though. He may be a gentleman at that moment in front of the public eye, but when the two of them got home, all bets were off. That put a little smirk on his face as he thought about all the ways he was going to top the day off in the confines and comforts of their bedroom.

Till then, Gohan was going to butter his wife up nice for that moment. Not that it would be hard to do, for Videl make it quite enjoyable to spoil her with compliments and shower her with his affection.

There wasn't much left to say at that moment as a gentle silence fell over the couple, only amplifying the romance between the two of them. And so they slowly strolled deeper into the city as they past store after store. It seemed that Videl either forgot where she wanted to go or simply had become too distracted by her husband's affection to think straight. Something Gohan could not blame Videl for.

He had been telling the truth when he said that there hadn't been much time for the two of them to share alone. Not like before. Back in high school, the two of them were inseparable, always doing things together and for each other. Gohan believed his mother called it "the honeymoon phase" of the relationship. It was only temporary and often didn't last that long, according his mother. Which made it that much more special for him as it seemed for Videl and himself, their "honeymoon" had lasted an eternity, spilling into their actual honeymoon.

Not to say that the two of them didn't still feel the same way or experienced the same kind of intense love for each other nowadays, but life had simply gotten in the way. From Gohan being a scholar to Videl trying to pave her own legacy that didn't rely on her father's own to the both of them raising their daughter Pan to simply having to deal with the hustle and bustle of living a normal life on a daily basis. It took away the abundance of time the two of them used to have to spoil one another with each other's love. Not to mention, both of them spent a lot of their free time training. It was in both their DNA.

But still despite all of it, Gohan made sure to make things up to Videl. For though it was difficult to find the time to set up such a grand display, Gohan made sure that everyday he let Videl know just how much he loved and adored her. Simple gestures like kissing her sweetly on the forehead in the morning to wake her up and holding her close as she made breakfast became Gohan's specialty. He took those moments and poured the charm on tenfold. Just like he had just done moments ago in the middle of the busy Hercule City streets. And he wasn't done just yet. Today was going to be filled with a lot of those simple gestures he was well-known for. But on top of that, Gohan had every intention to also make a grand display of it all as well. When he had told Videl that he felt bad he didn't get to spoil her like he used to, he meant it. That was going to change today. For she deserved to be spoiled.

Sighing happily, Gohan squeezed Videl's hand softly yet firmly, smiling down at her with warm loving eyes. He was glad that his mother had came over that morning and took Pan, desiring a chance to have another wonderful day of bonding with her beautiful granddaughter. It meant that Videl was his only concern for that entire day. Secretly, Gohan believed that his mother's sole purpose of coming over and taking Pan for the day was to allow her son and his wife to have some time together alone. Re-spark the romance so to speak.

Gohan would have to thank his mother if that was the case. Though Gohan always felt that the romance between Videl and himself was always there, it just had laid a bit dormant over the past few years. It would just take a little digging to let it resurface. Not that it would be that difficult of a task.

The two of them had walked down a few blocks before something caught his eye. He almost missed it but there it was in the corner of his eye.

"Whoa..." Gohan exclaimed as he broke through the silence, stopping his tracks once again, "Hey Videl, look at this!"

Gohan was standing in front of yet another store, peering into the glass window at the display in front of him. It was a gift store of sorts and sitting right in the middle of the window was a gigantic fluffy white teddy bear as big as a small children, perhaps slightly bigger. Gohan just knew he had to get it for Videl. For it reminded him of the one he had won her at the city fair back in high school all those years ago. Videl had given it to Pan upon her birth. A gift of a mother's love for her child. Gohan had never said it out loud but he silently vowed to himself that one day he would make it up to his wife by getting a new one for herself. He was slightly ashamed that it had taken so long to fulfilled that promise, though it did feel a little bit silly that he felt that way especially since he never told Videl about the vow.

But regardless, he wasn't going to let the opportunity in front of him pass him by. So as he pointed into the window, right at the big teddy bear, Gohan turned to his wife, delighted at his luck.

"I'm going to get that for you. What do you say about that Videl?" He asked, though already knowing the answer. Videl would protest sweetly, especially after her little speech moments ago about not worrying about spoiling her with gifts and material things. But the way he saw it, it wasn't really spoiling if she deserved it. And in his eyes, Videl deserved the world. He just couldn't buy the world for her. Good thing the teddy bear had a price tag.

"Reminds me of the one I won you in high school at your father's fair," Gohan added.

That had been quite the day. It had been his first date with Videl, shortly after his battle with Cell. Gohan was still shy around her at the time and a bit awkward socially but he had mustered up the courage to ask Videl out. Gohan had been so nervous, afraid she would have said flat out refuse him. But instead, she practically melted in his arms when he asked, becoming shy and timid herself. Something he had not seen from her before. But she said "yes" nonetheless and they had a great time. A day filled with roller coasters, cotton candy, fun houses and funnel cakes, only to be topped off with winning Videl that one and only teddy bear in that carnival game where all he had to do was throw a ball into each of the stacked pyramid bottles and knock them all down.

At the time Gohan had not understood how such a easy game could warrant such an incredible gift but he didn't complain. Though it was quite the shock to the game manager and those watching when not only did Gohan knock all three pyramids down but the entire display as well.

Gohan blushed slightly at the memory of that day. He had apologized profusely to the game manager, even offering to help him put everything back to the way it was, but the man simply waved Gohan off and practically shoved the giant teddy bear into Gohan's hands. Gohan had felt bad and felt he had ruined the date for Videl, but when he turned to look at her on that day, he was greeted with giggles and a cheerful expression. Later that night when he had took her home, Videl revealed that she thought the whole thing was kind of cute, especially when the game manager just gave Gohan the teddy bear just so Gohan would leave before he created another mess.

It was on that very same night that Videl had first used "Silly Gohan" when explaining stuff to him.

"Come Videl," Gohan led Videl into the store with every intention to get that enormous teddy bear for her. And he didn't have to throw a ball into stacked bottles to do so. Which meant he didn't have to anger any game managers.

Videl was still locked in her semi-conscious hazy state after the kiss. Although, even though she was still in that state of hers, she still had her Ki Sensing technique active to be able to guide her around the people that were in the shopping district with them. When combined with her familiarity with the place, it allowed Videl to wander aimlessly with Gohan without a care in the world, without even bumping into anyone. Videl was in a semi-hazy cloud nine right now due to the wonderful time she was spending with Gohan, and she honestly didn't want it to end.

Their love was as large as it was even when they first realized their feelings for each other. Unlike most couples who just settled into a routine after so many years of marriage and the love just kind of stagnated, their love for each other was just as strong as it was when they first got together. Oh sure, they had both matured and grown with each other over the years, that couldn't be denied, but their love was still just as strong as it was when they were teenagers. Hell, if anything, it had strengthened as they grew with each other, settled down, had a family, got their own jobs, and found their own places in the world.

Their love had never went away even after all of these years, but due to how busy they were, with raising Pan, doing their jobs, fighting crime, and training, they didn't really have any time to themselves, which had put a slight damper on their relationship, but their love was just as strong as ever. She had been hoping for a while that she would be able to get some time alone with Gohan so that they could rekindle a bit of fun in their relationship.

Sure, the spark was still there between them, even after 13 years, and no matter how boring things might get, they would still be together, but Videl had been desiring some precious time alone with Gohan that wasn't just at home or during their nightly activities. She had been wanting a legitimate outing with her wonderful husband, just the two of them, alone and doing whatever they wanted just like back when they were dating in high school. It was just that little ounce of something that had been missing in their marriage for a while, something that she was glad to have back.

It was a good thing that her wonderful Mother-In-Law Chi-Chi had detected that Videl and Gohan needed this outing, and as such had taken their daughter for the day. Thankfully, there were no crimes that needed stopped by the Great Saiyaman and Great Saiyawoman, didn't go to work on these days, and had decided to forget about training for the moment just to spend the day together. Training with Gohan would have been fun, but she wanted to keep her newfound strength a secret from him, a surprise that she was sure would impress and please her husband.

She felt Gohan stop in place, considering that when she tried to continue walking, his hand wouldn't budge, and that was when she knew that Gohan seemed to be distracted by something. The haziness leaving her for the moment, she turned to look up at Gohan with a curious, and adorable, pout on her face, sticking her lower lip out in a rather kissable way. She bit down on her lower lip and her eyes sparkled with a hint of curiosity as she took notice that Gohan seemed to be staring intently at something in a shop window.

"What's so fascinating, sweetie?" she asked him in a cute curious tone of voice. Then Gohan had spoken up to her, and told her to take a look at whatever it was he was staring at. Blinking to herself in curiosity, she proceeded to turn her attention to whatever it was he was looking at in the shop window that he was staring through. What she found herself looking at was something that had brought back the wonderful memory of when they had gone to an amusement park for one of their many dates back in high-school, a memory that caused a feeling of nostalgia and longing to bubble up from deep within her.

Just remembering the wonderful memories of that date had caused Videl to zone out for the moment, a hazy smile mixed with fondness and nostalgia taking over her face. It wasn't a toothy smile by any means, it was more of an adorable softening of her features, her eyelashes fluttering open and closed, and a slight perking up of her lips as her eyes seemed to get a bit glassy from the memories. Just the thought of that wonderful little date they had had actually caused Videl to let out a decidedly feminine giggle.

Hearing what Gohan had said to her, how he wanted to buy it for her had caused her to snap out of her nostalgia-fused flashback of memories and happiness, and a bright blush was brought over her face. She knew exactly what he was thinking of, he wanted to buy that bear for her to replace the almost exact duplicate of the one he had gotten for her originally, the one she had given to Pan back when she was much smaller. Hearing Gohan say this had caused her to let out a soft, enamored, fond sigh of sorts.

She saw Gohan's expression, and almost got reduced to a puddle of goop at the sight of it. The fondness, the softness, the loving nature she saw on his face, in those wonderful black eyes of his, had made her heart skip a beat, and then flutter like the wings of a butterfly. How could her husband still be so sweet and wonderful with her, even after all of these years of marriage? She didn't know if it was something she did in a past life, or if it was her years of saving the day as a crime fighter, but she somehow lucked out and got this wonderful, sweet, smart, and loyal man as her husband.

Videl couldn't really say no to him when he got like this, not that she was going to say no. To be honest, she always held some level of regret of giving that wonderful white bear Gohan had won for her all of those years ago away to their daughter. While her daughter loved the bear when it was given to her, Videl had treasured that bear so much when she had been given it by her high-school sweetheart that was now her husband.

She had always kept that bear as clean and pristine as possible, always in tip-top shape. If it ever got dirty, she'd clean it, if parts of it fell off, she'd have it sewn back on, if stuffing was flattening and fading away, she'd replace it with new stuffing, if eyes or bows or anything got damaged, she'd change them out. It was a bit goofy that a young adult Videl treasured that bear as much as she did when Gohan had given it to her with how well she took care of it, but to her, it was a priceless treasure when her husband had won it for her all of those years ago.

While Pan treasured that bear for being a soft, wonderful little friend, Videl had seen it as something more like finding a treasure chest full of gold, diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds. It was something priceless, something that could not be bought. It was something she wanted to treasure in heart forever, and even right now, she missed not having the bear to hold and cuddle with after all of these years. So, the fact that Gohan had managed to find a stuffed bear that was so much like the one he won for her all those years ago was fantastic.

Sighing softly in a fond manner, she nodded her head in agreement, then proceeded to stand on her toes and kiss him on the cheek. "I would love to have it, Gohan. There was a part of me that always regretted giving that bear to Pan, because of how much I loved it. Go on then my sweet Gohan, lead us in and take charge" she said to him with a wonderful giggle, still holding hands with him so that he could lead her into the store by the hand.

"Well we can't have you feeling like that Videl," Gohan said as he lead his adoring and adorable wife into the store. The sound of a bell chimed as they walked in, letting the store manager know that new customers had arrived. Immediately, Gohan was met with a whiff of cinnamon as he could see a tray of freshly baked cookies sitting neatly on one of the nearby counters. A sign next to it read "Please Take One!". So Gohan did. One for Videl, which he handed to her and one for himself. He had to took a bite, chewing on it slowly. It was delicious, not as good as the ones his mother made by any means but still wonderful in its own right.

With their hands still locked together, Gohan slowly lead Videl to the window display where they were greeted by the gigantic teddy bear. It was a lot fluffier and cute in person. Gohan knew then and there that he had to get it for Videl. So devouring the rest of his cookie, swallowing in an instant, Gohan let go of Videl's hand only to clean his hands off with a quick swipe before reaching out to pick up the enormous stuffed animal. Which was quite a sight to see as he still had the shopping bags from the clothing store they had went to earlier hanging from his shoulders. So when he held the giant behemoth of a cuddly teddy of a bear, it came off as a bit comical. Though Gohan didn't mind one bit as he could sense the overflowing of joy shining bright from his wife's face.

And as he glared down at her, he could see that little twinkle of deep gratitude for what he was doing. She was finally going to given something she thought was forever lost to him. Sure, the original teddy bear was still in the family, passed down to their daughter as a family heirloom of sorts but Videl no longer how to feel guilty about secretly wanting it back. For though no matter how much Videl missed having the stuffed animal for her own, she would never take it from her daughter.

But now, none of that mattered as Gohan approached the check-out counter, plopping the massive teddy bear down on it. From head to toe the stuffed bear had to be as big as Videl herself, give or take a few inches.

The store manager approached the counter from the other side with a big warm smile on his face.

"Ah, now this is quite the sight. I had this teddy bear in the window for months. So many little kids and parents walking by it, gawking at it. Some even coming in to get a real good look at it. But no one ever jumped at the chance to buy it. I almost started to believe no one would buy it. But here you two are, such a happy looking couple, about to take this teddy bear off of me."

The store manager was a delightful little elderly man, smiling through his wrinkles, laughing softly to himself. He went to work on ringing the stuffed animal up.

"That will be 199.99$," The store manager quickly added.

Gohan's smile faded just for the briefest of seconds, a nervous little tick twitched in his brow for a moment. 199.99 seemed quite a lot for a over-sized teddy bear. But as he reached for his wallet, he caught a glimpse of Videl's love-struck expression and immediately the tick vanished as he sighed happily. Videl was worth that price and more.

So as he paid for the fluffy huge doll, Gohan thanked the store manager.

"Here you go, Videl!" Gohan exclaimed as he handed the teddy bear to his excited wife.

Her face scrunching about in an adorable manner. It was quite cute when Videl got all giddy and "girly" around him. For he knew just how much she enjoyed being a tomboy, being tough and bossy. Something that he found quite attractive, but it was the moments where she melted in his presence, shedding all of that to expose the woman in her to him that really griped his heart tightly.

"After all these years and you finally got your teddy bear back," Gohan replied a moment later as he pocketed his wallet before taking Videl's hand in his own once again.

Leading her out of the store as he waved good-bye to the store manger, Gohan and Videl were once again out on the streets of Hercule City. He stole another gaze her way as he couldn't help but notice just how beautifully the sun shined upon her face. Her long pig-tails swaying gently in the soft breeze. She was a splitting image of her former high school self.

Gohan could still recall the first time he ever laid his eyes upon Videl. Had he known then that she would become his one true love and end up marrying her with a daughter between them, Gohan would have thought he was nuts. Videl was completely opposite than him. For why he was shy and nervous, not to mention socially awkward at times. A side effect of being home-schooled growing up. Videl was bold, courageous and sometimes bossy. Just like her father, Hercule Satan.

Gohan laughed to himself again. Out of all the people, Mr. Satan ended up being his father-in-law.
