Somewhere in the North

It had been a while since Dabura was cast out from the demon world. He was tortured and beaten for several years, until he was finally banished to Earth. The former King was stripped of his powers, of his titles and ranks. He was left to be alone in this mortal world. However, the demon knew not why he was sent here of all the places. He also never fully remembered much of his past life. The only thing he felt was an urge to do harm, to do evil. A built up hatred was buried inside him, waiting to be unleashed. Revenge was on his mind, but for now, the demon needed to figure out things. He needed to get some of his powers back before he could do anything.

"You may have got the best of me this time, Lucifer... Belial... But I assure you, I will make my return." Dabura spoke in such a tone that evil rolled off his tongue. The demon had been wandering these plains and hills for many days, ever since he found himself in this place. He had not eaten, nor slept much. One thing was for certain, he could not stand being on this planet. There was almost too much green, too much vegetation. There was too much life. From the birds to the small critters roaming around the forest, it was all too much to take in. It was a bizarre place to find a former demon king.

Dabura continued trekking north, to the cold mountains in the distance. A place in such harsh conditions as the cold northern mountains was the perfect place for a demon. He knew he would find refuge there, away from everything. The demon stood atop of a hill and looked outwards, seeing more valleys and hills between him and his destination. "Ugh, look at this place..." He muttered to himself as he soon formed a red ball of ki energy in his palm. It glowed bright red before he threw it toward a tall tree in the valley. The ki attack hit the base of the tree, making a huge explosion that toppled the tree over and left a small crater.

For whatever reason this made Dabura smirk as he let out a groan of satisfaction. "Mm.. yes. Much better." He could not help but chuckle in an evil way before he jumped into the air and took off. The demon was coated in a reddish white aura as he blasts towards the mountains. He flew over the carnage he left behind. The dust finally beginning to settle. Small critters that were around were running in all directions, confused and frightened. Briefly glancing at the rubble, he then looked up to the mountain peaks on the horizon. The sun was settling. The winds picked up. It was getting colder the further north he went. Though, there was a fire deep inside the belly of this demon, waiting to be spread.

The demon continued to fly towards those mountains. It only took a few minutes before he reached them, but he continued onward. His flight velocity slowed just a bit; the same aura still surrounding his figure. Though it was not as flashy nor bright as it once was. The demon was in a much weaker state. Dabura looked around for any sort of life or anything out of the norm; there was not much that he could see. After all, the demon has yet to grasp the sensing abilities that the humans were profoundly known for. He continued to fly while he scanned the immediate area, looking for a place to set up camp for the night.

Dabura flew between mountains and around cliff side edges. That is when he noticed a small cove that was out of sight for the most part. His keen eyes caught it at least. The demon made his way over to the cove. He landed at the base of it, looking inside. It was no bigger than a small room, plenty of space to take refuge for now. The demon stood there while looking around, contemplating things. This could potentially be a good place to make a home for now, until he figures out things. It was in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by tall cliffs and mountain sides. It was out of the way of the humans and that is what he liked. Though, he has yet to meet any so called humans. Not since the demon had been here long long ago had he met any humans.

With a slight sigh, the demon turned to look out into the surrounding area. "This will do." He muttered to himself before he heard a loud noise behind him. It was a fierce growl. The demon did a jump to turn and face the direction of the noise. He was alert. The cove was actually much deeper than he thought. Another growl was heard. The demon stood his ground, not flinching. "Show yourself!" He demanded as he stood his ground and watched as he noticed something in the far back of the cave, coming around a corner. It was a huge black beast, a bear!

"Oh, I'm sorry... was this your home?" Dabura laughed a little as the bear waddled closer, still growling and showing its large teeth. The bear was as big as they get, much bigger than the demon himself. But it did not scare him; he's been around far bigger things, and even uglier. When the bear saw that the demon was not threatened, it finally stood on its hind legs. It gave another mighty roar, trying to defend its home of course. The former demon king just grinned as he let a small ki blast form in his palm once again. He gathered the particles of energy slowly as the bear continued to taunt him. "That all you got, you mangy beast?!" Finally, something to kill. It was the only thought the demon had.

Within a few moments, the bear lunged forward and swiped at the demon with its big bear claws. Though, it just swiped at nothing. Dabura had carefully moved out of its way while he held the ball of energy in his palm. "You'll make a nice supper," smiled the demon as he finally released his energy blast at the side of the beast. It tore through the beasts hide and flesh like it was nothing. The bear turned and made an awful sound before stumbling and finally falling down. It landed on its side with a gaping hole in the other. A puff of air escaped the bear one last time as its tongue lolled out. It was no longer alive. The demon made its way up to the bear, looking at his kill. He smiled in satisfaction.

"Time to make a fire and roast this beast. Hah." He was a little thrilled about his small victory. It had been a while since he had been on this end of it. The demon went to gather up some wood to make a fire after he soaked in the little victory he had. It wasn't long before the demon had a nice fire going with the help of his ki energy of course. He dismembered the beasts hind leg and threw it on the fire. In an hour or so, he knew it would be nice and roasted, just the way he liked his meat. It was at this moment, that the demon realized just how hungry he was. It had been quite a while since he has last eaten. In fact, he really does not remember the last time he did. No matter, he was going to eat well tonight.
