The Toughest in the Universe drove his motorcycle through the large Final Heaven gates that opened automatically because of the retinal scan that Emmie installed months ago. It detected Final Heaven soldiers on the spot. He didn't understand the science behind it and lacked interest in it. With a flick of his wrist, he switched gears. He heard the sound of a squeamish chick behind him which happened to be Emmie. He thought she'd be used to the city trips. "Watcha worried about Emmie? Nothin' bad gonna happen," he joked. The Gatz's Haven was a mile away from the Final Heaven base. It took less than ten minutes on motorcycle to get to the city. He liked to make stops in the city for beer, patrol, and fights. Emmie curled her arms around Paul's waist. The engineer hated motorcycle rides because of the loud sound that rung in her ears. "I..I really hate this thing. N-no offense, but I-d rather fly," Emmie groaned. "I'll never understand you humans," she whined further because she had a deep need to find out more about humans, but they were impossible to understand for an android like her who lacked emotional depth necessary. The Toughest in the Universe ginned. "There isn't much to get bout us Emmie. I can't fly and ain't gonna learn how cuz this machine's a beaut," he complimented. The motorcycle roared its entrance into the city where traffic picked up. The modern architecture stood out from the rest of the world's cities he visited with Bel as a body guard when she traveled from location to location to talk about peace. He stopped at a red light due to traffic. This was another reason Emmie disliked motorcycle trips. "Oyyy...agh..traffic," she frowned. "It ain't that bad Emmie. Juss gotta wait until this red light turns green," Paul responded. Suddenly, he heard a loud screech from a convenience store sound from a woman who had her purse robbed. The robber bolted through the door. The light turned green, and as soon as it had, he kicked his kickstand to the ground to take care of the robber. Emmie realized they hadn't moved. "W-where you going Paul?" She questioned because she hadn't noticed the robbery like him. Paul blocked the robber off before he had a chance to escape. With his fist, he jammed it straight into the thief's midsection which caused the thief to drop the purse. The lady he stole from ran out of the store and thanked him for his help. She grabbed her purse and slapped the individual across the head. "Humans who steal are no good," Emmie lectured further. The flat top winked at the woman before he lectured the robber. "Summabitch ya don't rob a store," the goof major tossed the robber to the floor and heard a bunch of sirens in the background. "Damn the cops are here. I dun do well them em' lets go Emmie," he suggested. Emmie nodded in agreement. " |
