Nyx had finally managed to set some time for herself in the training dojo. Well to be more accurate, she had come to the dojo after getting a little bit of free time to go and train to find that some other people were there training. She wanted to do her own regiment, but it would be difficult for her to do with other people around. It would be too intense for the average human around Final Heaven. Nyx didn't really feel like waiting though, so she just started training. Sure enough, the others who were there ended up leaving once she started. Why did they leave without her telling them to? Well maybe it had something to do with the fact that Nyx's training regiment was so rough that they couldn't stay around. Nyx had created four Ice Doppelgangers of herself that surrounded her completely. They were very detailed, for makeshift training dummies. Of course, with how fast they were all moving it was hard to tell. The ice sculptures had no muscles to speak of and had no visible means that they moved by. It seemed like they were puppets controlled by strings, yet there were no visible strings in sight, and their movements were too fast to be simple puppetry. Nyx and the sculptures were blurs as they moved through the air. Punches, kicks, parries, glimpses of it could be seen. Nyx was hit out of the air by one of them, forced to kneel on one foot on the ground. She jumped away as a bunch of ice shards were fired her way. She fired out a series of energy blasts with both hands, shattering two of the sculptures. She reengaged the other two on the ground again. She blocked the punch of one of them then grabbed its arm and threw it into the remaining one, shattering its lets. She then finished off the law one with a palm thrust at its head, shattering it into pieces. The ice in the dojo began to evaporate, leaving none of it behind. Nyx bent over, placing her hands on her knees and breathing heavily. Nyx was going to take a small respite before she trained more. She had a long way to go, and wasn't going to stop here. Nyx was dressed in her sparring clothes. It was more fitting for this kind of regiment then her normal clothes. She prerred her normal clothes, even when fighting. But she didn't want to dirty them when she was training. Nyx's Attire (Minus the Headphones) [WC=427] Edited by Nyx, Oct 12 2016, 04:37 PM.

Anju made her way to the dojo, this time dressed in her uniform as she made her way to it. All in all, today was quite a mundane day to the teen as she made brisk strides to her mother's Dojo. She had hoped that perhaps her and her mother could train there instead, given the teen's abrupt disappearance. Her gentle gaze caught sight of a few of the cadets shuffling their way out of the dojo as though they'd seen something either shocking...or simply more powerful than themselves. That could only mean one of two things. Either they had been scared off by her father, or someone else was using the dojo. With her hands on her hips, the teen regarded the retreating forms of the cadets who had left the dojo in a hurry, before shrugging. "At least they have the gym to go to. But if mom and dad are there it's gonna be a bit tougher than I thought..." She murmured, just as she managed to peak into the doorway, instead finding their newest recruit; Nyx! Anju blinked as she watched Nyx train, holding back her need to applaud the alien woman as she leaned against the doorway, watching with interest. The only example of any sort of abilities that even came close to Nyx's were in the form of her boyfriend's telekinetic abilities. Of which, the teen had been used to, at least by the time the two had made their way back from a mission together. Once Nyx had finished up eradicating the ice duplicates, Anju's applause could be heard resounding off the dojo walls as she made her way inside. "Quite the show!" She announced, a proud smile on her face. "I can see why those cadets left in a hurry; they're clearly out classed." She nodded, as she regarded the alien princess with the look of an equal, rather than that of a superior. She crossed her arms over her chest with a smile, as she remembered Nyx's parting words when she'd left her office. "I came here to train myself, but since I've managed to catch up with you, there was something you said when you left that concerns me." Anju's eyes suddenly grew slightly more serious, as she regarded Nyx thoughtfully. "You were talking of your people's original homeworld. How it's located here in the same quadrant as ours is right now." The Future Princess could only lean back against one of the dojo walls, her legs crossing as she kept her eyes locked onto Nyx, as though she would evaporate away just like her ice dummies had. "You said something about two organizations I assume, vying for control of this sector of the galaxy, right? I'd like whatever other info you have on them. I ask that of you as your general, though I wish I could ask that without needing to apply my rank." She mused, pursing her lips into a pout as she looked away briefly. Turning her gaze back to Nyx as her lips formed into a softer smile. "Once I get that information, you're more than free to continue training. I just hope you don't mind having someone along for the ride." |536 Words

Nyx looked over, and immediately stood at attention who she saw who was standing in the doorway. Anju, the third most highest ranking member of Final Heaven had in their ranks. Although the General seemed to be strangely treating her like an equal, she wasn't going to make a habit of treating the General the same way. Not at the rank she was currently at. Still, she was asked a question, and she was going to answer it to the best degree that she took. Nyx picked up a towl, wiping off her face as she walked closer so that her general would be able to hear her more clearly. "This is going to take a little explaining, since it goes back a long way. Long ago on a distant planet, there existed two races, the Saiyans and the Tuffles. The two of them got into a very long war that the Saiyans won. The story is more complicated then I'm making it out to be, but I'm condensing it for the sake of getting to the relevant stuff right now. The Saiyans are a species that live for battle. They delight in entering it at every opportunity they could. However they weren't very technologically advanced, and couldn't get far from their own home-world. And that's where the Planet Trade Organization came in." Nyx made it over to where Anju was, standing a reasonable amount of distance from her commanding officer. "The Planet Trade Organization is an Empire dedicated to conquering planets and selling them to the highest bidder, as well as just expanding their own territory. The Saiyans were perfect targets for them: they saw that race as prime footsoldiers. Whether willingly or unwillingly, a partnership was born. They gave the Saiyans technology, and the Saiyans became their foots soldiers in return. This continued for a number of years, until the Saiyans managed to become powerful enough to branch off from the Planet Trade Organization. They didn't like the idea of being the henchmen of the Changlings, so they revoluted. The Saiyan Army and PTO have been at each others throats since. It's a fight that doesn't seem to have an end in sight. At least for the time being anyway. And it's happening close enough where any decent ship can take you to the systems where the conflicts are taking place within in a week. I doubt they end up targeting Earth anytime soon, but sooner or later, one side is going to win. Although the PTO has recently done a move that troubles me. Still, I doubt they'll come for Earth anytime soon. It's a neutral planet in the confrontation and they would just waste resources trying to take this planet over." Seeing Nyx immediately straighten her posture, the teen waved her hand dismissively. "At ease." She spoke gently, letting her hands freely rest on her hips. Even with as much power as the teen possessed, both in terms of rank and physical strength, the fact that everyone seemed so stiff around her was something she had long since grown used to. In fact, she'd been used to that since she'd gotten here the first time. Her father was quite the intimidating figure, and it was almost entirely clear that the smallest fraction of it was within herself. Even still, she carried herself in a way similar to her mother. She was the perfect balance between both parents. The beauty and kindness of her mother; but the unstoppable force of her father as well. It simply made sense as to why everyone around her regarded her so highly. Then again, it helped when one factored in the fact that Anju had also liberated her own timeline in the past of the BBA Threat, with the help of Sol, her future father, and Bora. She tilted her head slightly as she watched Nyx collect a towel and begin to dry herself of the sweat from her little sparring match. Hum....considering her powers, you'd think she'd have auto air conditioning. She mused, but focused again once Nyx had begun to explain to her the history between the PTO and the Saiyan Army. Course the Tuffles were included too, however, the teen disregarded the information given it seemed they were eradicated by the saiyan race. Two years prior the teen would've thought this pseudo history lesson was boring, but now unfortunately she knew all too well that even the most drawn out lesson was worth learning. Once Nyx had stated that the PTO was unlikely to have their sights set on earth, the teen seemed to relax slightly. Though, even she knew better. Even if they didn't think to take her home anytime soon, that didn't mean it wasn't on whatever potential list of planets they'd like to take. Still, all the same, Anju's gaze softened. "Well, I suppose that's a relief then." She nodded slowly, wandering further into the dojo and starting to stretch a bit. Rolling her shoulder, she looked back over at the newest recruit to Final Heaven before realizing outside of the fact that she knew her name, face, and that she was out of this world; she hadn't known the details of why she was forced off her home. Surely it wasn't some mere test between parent and child, if that relationship was truly applicable. Curiosity seemed to win out as she stretched her spine and legs. "Pardon me if this is intrusive...." She trailed off, knowing all too well that some things in a person's life were best kept secret from even the people who cared most. "But you said you can't return to your home, correct? What loose ends are needed to be tied up in order for you to go back?" She blinked, pulling herself back up off the floor and finishing up stretching. "Heh, you could say I have similiar loose ends; I'd be back home myself if it weren't for the fact that the BBA exists here at all." She scoffed, turning her burning gaze away from Nyx briefly. "Provided no one's explained it to you, I'll give you a very abridged version of what I mean. I'm not Gatz and Bel's daughter of this timeline. I'm the daughter from 16 years in the future...18 now, if you count my age." She stretched every finger and every knuckle as she said this. Honestly, the story had told itself numerous times now, that the fact that she was explaining it all over again now seemed foreign to her. "I wish I could tell you that I know of you in the future, but most of the people I've come into contact in this time I've never seen. And chances are, you probably never even stopped by to begin with, to earth I mean. So we probably wouldn't have met." She shrugged her shoulders a bit, her short hair meeting her shoulders briefly before they relaxed. "I can tell you however, that with a team of friends we eliminated that threat, and liberated my timeline from the BBA." Grinning widely now, as she felt refreshed and pumped enough to get to it, she bowed with respect to Nyx. "If we can do it there, we can do it here . That's my belief anyway. I hate to make this all talk and no action, so...if you wouldn't mind~" She tilted her head to Nyx, confidence radiating in her eyes as she slipped into a stance that mimicked her mother's. "How about a little one on one while we chat huh? You're free to ask me anything too; I might be the general, but I won't bite your head off. I'll let you move, and answer, first if you'd like." |839 Words|TWC:1375 Words

Nyx relaxed and went at ease, folding the towel and setting it on the ground. Nyx honestly hadn't expected this question to come up anytime soon. Fortunately Gatz or Bel didn't really intrude into it. Gatz wasn't the type of person to pry into personal aspects of someone's life that he figured weren't important for their performance, while Bel and Ana were focused on getting her settled into Final Heaven. She debated how much she should actually tell her. There were definitely some aspects that she couldn't tell her right now. There was some knowledge that would put her in more danger, or at the very least get concerned about more threats. Yes, in some aspects Nyx was going to keep everyone she knew in blissful ignorance. When the time was right, she would tell her absolutely everything. Nyx decided to tell her everything outside of one certain subject matter. Some knowledge was very dangerous no matter who knew it. "I have two homes that I can't return to. The ancestral home world that we lost long ago, and back into the Dominus Alliance. My home planet is called Polaris. In any sufficient ship you can reach it within seven Earth rotations. It was abandoned by the invaders once they mined out all the raw minerals. The problem is that it's very close to the conflict going on right now. I would have to set up a military base there and have a sufficient force to keep a foothold in that part of the Galaxy. Polaris has a natural defense that would help: the temperature there is freezing. It's a more hostile environment for the Changlings then space is: they're able to breath in a complete vacuum. The cold of Polaris saps out Ki for most species just by standing on its surface. I'm immune to the effects of my homeworld though. The reasons I can't go back to the Dominus Alliance are even more problematic then going back to Polaris." Nyx leaned against a punching bag, although kept her back straight. She wasn't going to look undignified, even when she was training wearing less traditional clothing then she usually wore. "The Dominus Alliance was created to make sure entire species abided by certain codes. It was meant to keep the peace. Thanks two individuals though, the Dominus Alliance has lost sight of many of the values it once possessed. The first one being my brother, Kaisa Dae Siria. Our creators designed my race to operate on a loose hive mind mentality. Every generation a leader was picked. And when the need was dire, a Siren, a Sigerian with unparalleled power was born. Kaisa was the third that came into existence. And then something happened that had never occurred before. I was born with the powers of a Siren. Two Sirens existing at once was impossible, and yet that's what happened. The majority of my race decided I should be the Siria who lead us. I was weaker then him, but I was more intelligent, more fit to lead then he was. He didn't accept that though. He wanted me dead my entire life, and he became very open about his assassination attempts once the decisions was made. And so I was forced to make a choice of my own." There was a slight inflection in her voice when she said the word "brother". Other then that, her tone had stayed neutral throughout the entire exchange. That soon changed when she brought up the next part of her story though. She still sounded calm, but there was this tension surrounding her that wasn't there before. Nyx's "calm" expression "I either had to fight a civil war to overthrow him, or I could strike a peace bargain by tossing aside the powers of a Siria. I choose to avoid bloodshed between my race, and willfully gave them up. He stopped trying to kill me after I did that, and the Sigerians united under him completely. That's what a good commanded should do: if their soldiers lives are valuable, you would do anything to save them. I might have been able to beat Kaisa, but the death toll wouldn't have been worth it. In tossing aside those powers though, I couldn't handle the other reason I can't go back there. The entity that has control over the Ignoids, The False God." Nyx's voice had a tinge of bitterness and anger when she brought up her brother, closing her left hand into a fist and shaking it briefly. There was a tinge of sadness she brought up once the False God was brought up. "The Dominus Alliance is overseen by two races. The Sigerians and our sister race, the Ignoids. Recently the False God is controlling the Ignoid faction, even if most of them don't realize it. It was once one of our creators: the only one to survive the revolt against them. It doesn't have a tangible form like you or I do though. It transcended the existence of flesh, blood, and metal, and exists by using others as a vessel. I discovered its existence and tried to stop it. In the end I lost all that I had left fighting it, save for my life. It's a terrible existence, neither of these threats are even close to Earth. I will resolve these problems myself once I have the resources to do so. I'm not going to drag Earth into a conflict that it doesn't have to be a part of." Nyx sighed, pushing off from the punching bag and moving to the center of the dojo. Although she was composing herself very well, brining up both of those subject matters were very painful to her. Still, she was going to have to trust her comrades. And trust was a two way street: if both parties didn't go in the direction they were supposed to go, then everything would crash and burn. She nodded at Anju after she mentioned where she came from, understanding the teen's situation clearly. Nyx entered a fighting stance of her own, sliding her right leg back and her upper body forward. She extended both arms, one at a diagonal down angle while straightening out the other one behind her. "I'm sure we'll be victorious in this timeline as you were in your own. We have a significantly higher amount of resources to work with then you did in the future. I"ll start off with a simple question then. Before you purged them from your timeline, did they intend on moving on to other planets? Or were they just content with ruling the Earth?" Nyx suddenly lunged forward, throwing out a palm thrust and Anju's chest, followed by a spin kick and a series of quick jabs at her face. Nyx certainly wasn't planning on going easy on her superior: all she would do was keep her power to the minimum level Other then that, she was going to throw everything she had into the spar. Anju's defenses immediately were on the up and up, as Nyx started their friendly spar off with an open palm strike, her hands instinctively raising up to defend herself, but far too late to do much other than change where Nyx's aim was by a small margin, striking her breast rather than the outright center of her chest. The teen winced at the amount of strength the new recruit had put into the strike, but didn't have time to mention it before Nyx's leg made a beeline for her, the Future Princess narrowly escaping via ducking before answering back with an attempted strike to her side, breaking away to create distance again, at least enough to answer. Grinning brightly, Anju swiped at her lip a bit, fire burning in her eyes. "Oh that part I'm not worried about, if they were easy to dismantle in the future they'll be ten times easier in the past. From what I know about those nut cases however, I don't recall ever hearing talk of a galactic conquest....but I'll say this much." Her eyes seemed to darken as she closed the gap again, attempting to sweep Nyx off her feet, and if successful, dipping her down, making this spar turn less into an act of combat and more the image of a tango. "I wouldn't put it past them. Those scumbags would've been fine with earth, but they're pretty greedy. Sooner or later, one of them would've wanted space from the rest....and soon enough they'd think to themselves 'Hey why not expand? More to kill right?' Those bastards only know one thing and that's destruction of all life, not just the life here!" Letting Nyx drop from the elegant dip, the teen straightened out, lifting her leg up with intent to slam her down to the floor of the dojo with force, if it hit. |311 Words|TWC:1686 Words

Nyx knew she was in for a touch fight the moment she saw Anju's movement. Granted she could already tell that she was strong just by what she could sense alone. Although you had to see how they fought in order to truly grasp how powerful they were. Anju's fighting style was very unique and unusual right off the bat. It looked like some form of strange dance rather then an actual combat style. Nyx decided to make the best of things, and managed to jump over the leg sweep. "We can assume that they mean to eradicate all organic life in the universe. How ironic: they wish to bring death to what brought them life in the first place. I do understand how they feel, although they're lashing out at those who are innocent in their goals of conquest. For an artificial being or anyone defended from those created artificially, you can never have true freedom as long as your creator exists.anWe aren't like the rest of you: purely organic beings such of yourself aren't designed to perform specific function. Whenever someone makes an artificial being, it's always as a means to an end. There is no such thing as artificial life created for the sake of living. The creations the Red Ribbon Army created were meant to be tools of war. Even though they've formed their own organization, that directive hasn't changed." When Anju swung her leg down, Nyx managed to grab onto it with her left hand. Her arm shook slightly from the effort it had taken to stop the attack. Anju certainly wasn't going to make this easy, even though they both weren't going all out. "I have managed to obtain some information on some of the designs of the Generals of the BBA. After looking at L's design and going over the information you found out by imprisioning Q here, I have concluded that the strength of these androids far exceed anything that humans are capable of creating. Not only that, but the Red Ribbon Army originally threw these androids away after deeming them worthless. How could these androids gain so much power after being tossed away like that? It's a completely unprecedented jump in strength, especially if you consider the short time frame in which it took place. It normally takes years to develop that kind of power if you aren't born of created strong. No matter how many times I look over the data I can't account for their current strength levels." While still holding onto Anju's leg, Nyx raised her right knee and aimed a front kick at the General's torso. It would be very hard for Anju to avoid the blow given the current position she was now in. [WC=455] [TWC=2,501] Edited by Nyx, Oct 18 2016, 03:06 PM.

Anju's eyes narrowed as she listened to Nyx, gritting her teeth as her sweep failed, but doing all she could to power through Nyx's defenses, even as she gripped her leg so tightly. Still, conversing like they were, one could only wonder how futile this all was. Couldn't they just talk over lunch or something? No matter, the teen thought, as she struggled against Nyx's own strength. "Assumptions only get us so far however; as much as even I believe them to want to eradicate and destroy all they can, what becomes of them once they achieve that? They'll have nothing more than an empty universe to tend to. And besides... I can't say that all non organic life is bad. Look at my dad." She grinned brightly. Course, her grin didn't stay long once the recruit had issued a answer to her stalling measures, the teen bracing herself as best she could, flexing her core even as she took the brunt of Nyx's knee directly into her torso. It still got what the Sigerian wanted, the future princess backed right off. Still, the fire in her eyes burned deeply as she breathed in, focusing now as she switched her pace, going on the defensive instead to allow her the chance to answer her opponent. The grin soon came right back at what she'd heard however. "Mind providing me some kind of a ball park to shoot for here? You shouldn't leave a lady in suspense you know." She teased, focusing her ki directly into her legs as she propelled herself at high speeds towards Nyx, aiming to get behind her as she attempted to get her back for beat down by punishing her recruit with one of her own; swinging her heel directly at the Sigerian's ribcage. "Honestly, Nyx, that information isn't all that new. What is new however...is the lettering. L, right?" She asked, tilting her head as she prepared to take whatever Nyx had next for her. "Last I knew there were only 13 generals. L would make 14. Unless you're counting Q as no longer accountable, given his current circumstances." |356 Words|TWC: 2042 Words

Nyx had managed to hit Anju directly in the chest, although since they were both holding back a little bit, it didn't do too much damage to her. It definitely hurt her though, as the look she gave Nyx seemed to indicated. That mood of hers didn't last for very long though, as a smile appeared on her face when she brought up her father. Gatz was a very hard person to care about, although even he seemed to make exceptions regarding his family compared to how he treated others. "They could easily build an order of artificial life to replace organic life. They've already build a replacement General for the one that was killed. As for your father, he's attached to your mother and his own blood. The piles of dead trainees would disagree with your assessment on how your father is. It's not like I'm chastising him though: there's no room for error in your military forces. I was similar to that a long time ago. The only main difference is that I never killed any of my troops for incompetents. There is no such thing as a failure among the Sigerian race." There was a tinge of pride to Nyx's voice as mentioned how capable her race face. Even when she wasn't with the rest of her kind, she still took pride in who and what she was. Nyx soon found herself at the other end of s kick to the back, letting out an in-lady like grunt as she was send flying to the other side of the dojo. She managed to land on her feet, watching Anju as she considered her options. This person was defiantly a very capable fighter. Still, it wasn't anything she couldn't manage. "The weakest generals are four to five times your current strength, going but wat I'm sensing right now. I would have expected for the daughter of one of the most powerful beings on the planet to have a bit more power then you have. It seems as though you didn't inherent the right genes. And there are 13 generals currently alive. W was terminated when he attempted to kidnap your mother." Nyx lunge forward, swinging her left leg upward in an attempt to hit Anju with a high kick. This little spar was going to be a very interesting affair: she was going to learn all about her superiors style throughout the course of this encounter. [WC=408] [TWC=2,909] |
