Straightening out her brand new leather jacket and brushing off the sleeves, the teenaged General of Final Heaven stretched as she made her way out of the base. For once, the teen wasn't off running errands for the military base, but rather was off to grab herself something to eat. And if anyone knew Anju, they would know exactly what her first order of business would be. A certain dish only the Future Princess of Final Heaven would hold in higher regard than her own bloodline. Chinese Food. The very thought could bring the powerhouse to her knees. Instead, she made her way fresh out of the gate. Soon enough thoughts of all of the cut up meat slathered in well made sauces was what propelled her feet forward as she meandered through the streets of Gatz Haven. But the traffic of people soon made this venture a thousand times more stressful. People sluggishly made their way through the streets of Gatz Haven, and the pace they had was not fast enough for the impatient and hungry princess of Final Heaven. For every two steps for her part a person ahead of her would take one. If it wasn't for the fact that she had spent the time she'd disappeared for ignoring the ability of flight, and hell, ki channeling in general just to instill a better grasp of physical combat and survival skills, she would've been there and back by now! Groaning, the teen was close to causing a scene until something managed to catch her attention. Blinking, her attention turned to the source before it seemed to disappear from her senses, leaving the future princess at a stand still as flocks of people bypassed her entirely. What....was that? She thought to herself, curiosity sparking in her eyes. Food might have to wait.... |308 Words

The flickering poison that his aura seemed to emit; Black walked quietly along the sidewalk. Failing to look anyone in the eyes Black was keeping to himself the best he could. Even though he knew his demonic like essence could attract a foe quite easily; He decided to venture into the Haven for a moment. For a split second as he walked passed a Restaurant he felt a sudden energy spike. At least one person in the near area had a power far greater than anyone else around. So much so it made everyone else feel like ants. Such an impressive power would have to be met with caution. Continuing to keep to himself; Black finally decided to look straight forward. Stopping for a second to look at the sky. Black slowly started to get a sinister smile on his face. Straightening out his head once again; Black slowly started to turn it to the left just enough to barely see behind him. All you could see was his left half of his face; meaning the left half of that sinister grin he had plastered on his face. As he began to walk forward Black began paying attention to what was going on in front of him for a bit. Still getting that creepy feeling someone that shouldn't have been was following him. Stopping once again Black let out a short little sigh. Suddenly his body vanished and disappeared without a trace. Instantly his body reemerged on top of a near by building that was somewhat close to the Restaurant he first felt the high energy signature coming from. Keeping his power hidden down a fairly good amount he waited. Either he was wrong and no one was following him; or someone he ought to keep an eye was in a good birds eye view away from him. Shit....lost it. Anju growled to herself as the crowd around her was just so depressingly slow that it hadn't allowed her even the slightest chance to duck out of it. There's so many people right now...guess that's what happens when you duck out of work for the lunch rush huh? Groaning, the teen started to impatiently shove her way past people, walking with the same authority she portrayed when she was walking through the halls of Final Heaven's base. Soon enough, seeing death reflected in her eyes, they began to part. Holding her head up high and having a slight sway in her hips with every step, she thought of how she might be able to get this mysterious powersource out of hiding. Sheesh...this is like playing red light green light! Argh...w-wait..., blinking, Anju's gaze lost the sharp edge to it, before refocusing. Maybe.... The future princess grinned then, letting her power level slowly begin to increase around her, as the restaurant she was seeking slowly came into view. More people began to avoid her, which made the effort in trying to get what she wanted all the more worth it. Not only was she making great time now, but she could potentially lure out someone who might be a worthy ally. With every step her power level soared, until it hit it's limit, making her seem like the biggest beacon in the city. Or at least, the brightest next to her mother, who made her look like a candle in high speed winds by comparison. As she made it to the doorway of the restaurant, she scanned the immediate area. Her eyes sharpened and focused as people wandered around, being careful and sure not to impede on her search, though unknowingly. But still, nothing had caught her, both in sight....and in terms of her senses either. Shrugging, she opened the door for herself and entered. At the very least, I can test and see how well the people react to me. Though really, I expect only the best service....given who my father is, after all. With that, the teenaged princess from the future entered the building, the scent of food teasing her primal senses, making her mouth water as she fell into a chair, not even needing to wait. Guess I'll leave my power level surging...at least then, whoever is out there can find me. And maybe if they're lucky, they can get fed too. |409 Words|TWC: 717 Words

It seemed as if the person gave up for a second but then something caught Black's attention. Staring down on the sidewalk focusing he could feel an energy starting to spike. Rapidly growing it wasn't hard for him to soon key in on the person behind it. Letting out a little chuckle to himself it seemed to be a pink haired girl. Watching as this girl walked inside the restaurant before her Black continued to hold his ground and wait. A few moments passed and he continued to just keep tabs on this energy signature that was so high above all those surrounding her. Jumping off the top of the building he found himself on Black slowly descended towards the ground. Landing on the sidewalk like it was nothing Black scanned the area for people who where shocked by such a thing. Lucky enough for him though no one was really paying attention which meant his location was still pretty much hidden. Walking past the restaurant Black looked into the window for a moment. Finding the spot the girl sat he thought to himself on what to do. Shrugging his shoulders Black sorta chuckled again before using Instant Transmission once again. This time however he found himself instantly seated in the spot across from the girl. Tapping his fingertips on the table in front of him he stared up at a large menu hanging from the ceiling. I guess it was there for people who wanted to order quickly; he didn't know why it was there honestly as it had been so long since he was inside a place like this. Deciding on what he wanted to not only eat but drink Blacks attention then started to shift from the menu to the girl before him. " A decent amount of people here huh? Think i'll just get the buffet and some soda; how about you? What do you feel like having? " Black said peering into this mysterious girls eyes. He attempted to hope she wouldn't notice the Black Bow Army logo on the upper left shoulder of his Gi; nor the evil smog that his aura seemed to spew out over the restaurant as he sat waiting to hear her response. Anju spent her time letting her aura do most of the talking for her, crossing her legs as she glanced to the door, expecting the person to come through like any normal person would. As time passed, waiters and waitresses alike would drop by, making small talk with the Daughter of the Great Android Terror. Much like her mother, she dismissed them immediately, citing that she was waiting for someone. Most of the staff seemed fine with that, although that didn't stop their conversations from focusing on that tidbit of detail. Musing herself with trying to figure out who the person would be, she slowly shifted her gaze back up to the menu. "I suppose waiting any longer would be a bad idea..." She groaned, finally settling her gaze upon the large hanging menu in front of her. A waitress hummed as she passed by Anju's table, slowly setting a glass of ice water down as the teen nodded her head in thanks. Hurrying away, the waitress was dismissed just in time not to see the person the Heroic Princess had been awaiting. Jumping and snorting, Anju coughed as said person suddenly appeared in her line of sight, having a swagger to him she'd come to be familiar with. As she pounded her chest with her fist, she winced as the water she'd been choking on finally made it's way down. Catching the man's eyes with her own, she drank in the strange aura he carried with him. But of course, the teens smart mouth engaged faster than her eyes could scan his form. "Anyone ever tell you it's rude to keep a lady waiting?" The corners of her mouth twitched upward in a malicious grin, one that just barely gave off the confidence that a General of Final Heaven should carry. To the rest of the witnesses around them, the two seemed to be friendly enough, even if it was clear in the teen's body language that she was less than enthused by this development, but the tension in her gaze was clear. ![]() Finally, Anju's eyes settled back on the menu. "Buffet huh? Great minds think alike, I suppose." She let her eyes trail back to the mysterious stranger in front of her. Sitting across from her as though he'd been invited all along, but that was exactly what she wanted. To the rest of the civilians around her, this was all a well staged play. The less they knew, the better. Finally, the tension eased from her face and eyes. "So what brings you here, stranger~?" She asked, her tone shifting from that of an authority figure in the city, to that of the teenager she truly was deep down. Her aura slowly began to die down, reverting back to barely even noticeable. After all, I don't need to bring any more weirdos around...and I don't need to send any distress signals either. If things get messy, I'll be sure to spike right back up. |495 Words|TWC:1,212 Words

" I'm sorry to keep you waiting my lady. " Black said in a sorta of serious sort of sarcastic tone but nodded after she made the comment great mind's think alike. After hearing what she asked Black waited for the waitress to once again come to the table before ordering his soda. After watching her leave again he turned attention back to the pink haired girl across from him. " Well to be honest; This is the first time being in this part of the city. From where I come from there is no; what do we call this place Gatz' Haven? " Once his drink arrived he quickly took a sip before deciding to continue speaking on his behalf for being there. " So pretty much I was just exploring until I sensed someone stronger than the other mortals running around and decided to investigate. Seeing how you haven't just straight attacked me yet I can consider us on neutral terms for the moment. So before I expose any more information as to why I'm here or exploring this area may I ask of you your name and reason for being here my lady? " Leaning back in his chair slightly he gazed into her eyes. He was trying to gauge the situation but for the moment that was going to be slow since they pretty much just met. Taking another sip from his soda Black rested in his chair. " The names Black by the way. " WC: 252 TWC: 828 |

The waitress nodded politely as she left once more, knowing better than to pressure the Princess of their fair city, while Anju's eyes stayed solely on Black. Leaning forward, she casually rested her chin against the back of her hand, as she listened to him; regarding him the same way a wolf regards their choice in prey. Raising a brow, she grabbed at the glass of water from before, tilting her head back as she smoothly let the liquid, chilled perfectly, filter down her throat. Anju's lips pulled away from the glass, as she settled it back down onto it's coaster. "I see, and how might your time so far have been, sir?" She asked, her tone seeming charmed, yet carrying a dangerous edge to it. Her bright eyes stayed on him as she wondered to herself just how much of a mistake this might be. Well...can't back down now, I'd look like an idiot if I did. She mused. I suppose giving my name isn't too terrible. Almost wish I could go back to using that alias from two years ago...but too many people know my actual name, it's far too risky. "It's Anju." She finally answered, closing her eyes as the waitress made the rounds again, as she finally placed the order for herself, she kept her gaze locked with this mystery stranger. Once the waitress retreated, bowing her head and skittering away after insisting the two enjoy the buffet, she gave a slight smile. "I'm here for the obvious, food." She slowly rose out of her seat. "And I'd assume you did too, if it wasn't for the fact that I've never seen you here before. And this is one of my usual hot spots, so naturally, I know the regulars." Her head briefly turned to the buffet, licking her lips as the man before her gave out his own name to her. Raising a brow, her head snapped right back to him. "Black?" She repeated. Curiosity coated his name as she rested her opposite hand on her hip. "Forgive me for being blunt here, but don't most people know how to name people properly? I didn't think we were running short of names here." She shook her head, turning back to the buffet. "Well, introductions have been taken cared of, you've ordered, I've ordered, let's walk and chat." She suggested, stuffing her hands into the pockets of her jacket as she strided over straight for the food, her head turning back as she regarded him cautiously. Well, he certainly knows I'm the beacon here, but his aura....it's got me feeling weird. |434 Words|TWC:1,646 words

Slowly getting Up he joined Anju in walking towards the food. Grabbing a plate and handing it to her he then grabbed on for himself. He was going to do exactly what they had suggested; walk and talk. He couldn't hide the fact he was hungry. His stomach rumbled as loud as Goku's did when he was hungry. Which of course he couldn't tell her just yet just exactly who he truly was and that he had goku's actual body. So until then that is if it ever did come up in conversation; Black would just play it cool. Looking over the food he started to pile it on his plate before speaking towards Anju who was off getting her own food. " Well Honestly I'm in awe. Everyone's alive, The city isn't in ruins; those ruins are burning and smoke filling the air. It's quite a change from what I'm use to. I'm actually kind of glad I was able to get away from that and find myself in what appears to be a better time. " A better time? Way to go dunce. That's one way to give away the fact you're not from this timeline. Hopefully she didn't fully pick up on that subtle play on words just yet and he was safe from further questions. Otherwise things could get rocky quite quickly. After his plate was fully covered and piled up rather high. Black sorta laughed to himself a bit looking at the plate hoping he could make it back to the table without spilling any of the food onto the floor, for he didn't want any of it to go to waste. " I can understand your point of view though. I have no idea why I'm called Black that's just the identity I was given the day I came into being and that appeared on the nameplate of my locker inside the base; maybe it's because I am... Well because I look so familiarly close to Goku and wear mostly Black and darker color's as opposed to his bright orange and blue Gi " Setting his plate on the table he took another sip of his soda while he made sure the woman's chair was pulled out for her to sit. Why he was being so nice he didn't know; maybe there was an unknown reason that had yet to reveal itself to him. Either way he took a seat in his own chair and waited for her to sit down. " So other than coming here for the obvious "food" what else do you do around here If you don't mind me asking? " This was Blacks half ass attempt to get a little bit of information on who Anju really was or what happened around the Haven. Between the sentences he took breaks to eat some of the food while also waiting for her response. Taking one last sip of his soda before waiting for it to have to be refilled; he cleaned his hands then messed with his Gi a bit hoping to hide the Black Bow Army completely from view before eating once more.
