Lute took the bag of coins, he had not done much to deserve it but he took it anyways, all Lute really did was foolishly take evidence from a criminal and stumble across someone who happened to care what happened. Either than that Lute thought of the encounter as a success and was glad he climbed up the mountain.

"Thank you for helping with this gohan!" Lute said smiling at the triumph over evil. "I'm glad you were able to maintain peace in your quaint town and I'm glad that It's here." Lute's entire brain grinned to a screeching hault, his eyes widened and an unnerving realization came to him, "Thaaattsss why the call it fire mountain Ohhhhh" Lute said completely loosing track of all that he was saying or discussing for that matter. "Well" Lute said floating up in the air a bit. "I don't remember if I asked or not but I was wondering if you were interested in training me sometime." Lute said doing a little mid air stretch. Lute had for gotten what he had set out to do in the first place, find the man he heard about and either spar him or ask to train him or in lute's word it would be both. "I understand that you were busy before I came so I'm not going to ask you to train me now but I wouldn't mind comming back here every once in a while for some training" Lute said waiting for Gohan to respond

"Don't mention it. Taking care of crime is not only my personal duty but I quite enjoy it as well," Gohan admitted with a sly grin before a serious expression washed over his face, "As for training you, like I said earlier, I am more than willing to do just that, so as long as you listen to my every word and do everything I say. You must be willing to be discipline and focus. Martial arts is not a children's game, no offense. It's serious business as you just saw moments ago. I could have easily broken that man in half but I didn't. Instead I took him out quick and effortlessly without causing any unnecessary harm. It is those kind of situations and decisions you will find yourself facing as a fighter. You must know how to respond, often times in a blink of an eye. I will teach you such things, but you must be completely willing to learn."

Gohan rubbed his chin as he took a few seconds to study the young boy who he had only met just several minutes ago, "But you seem like a decent kid, so I don't see any problems arising. So whenever you are ready to train with me, by all means you are more than welcome to return. If I'm not in the village or the castle, I may very well be in the Fire Cave. You can't miss it, its the biggest and only cave in the kingdom. I usually go there to train by myself as well as train my students. For as you suspect, I do get a lot of similar requests as the one you just made. I'm a very popular guy in that regard. Anyways, just say the word and it will be done, Lute."

Lute nodded attentively as he marked gohan's stipulations on his hands to remember them, Lute was willing to learn and he was starting to understand the importance of martial arts and how serious things can become. "I understand" Lute said nodding along in midair to his new potential master. "Listen to your words, discipline ficus, Martial arts not a joke, doing break people in half aaand be willing to learn. I think I can remember that." Lute said he would remember but he was surprised at his immediate recall.

Lute Listened to Gohan talk about how to reach him going into detail about a cave not the mountain where he trains himself and others. Lute listened and nodded, Lute was good at noticing things so he didn't doubt that if he needed to find Gohan he couldn't. If Lute waited to train with Gohan he just had to say so sealing the deal and intern getting a new master. Lute paused for a second and then said "Sounds Like a plan to me!!!" Lute said smiling and holding out his hand for a handshake from Gohan. Lute couldn't wait to start training with gohan, he made it sound like an amazing experience.

"Great!" Gohan replied with a smile as he nodded in approval before taking Lute's hand in his own, shaking it firmly, "I promise you though I will be stern in my teachings and training, I'm not going to be one of those drill instructors. I'll save that for my friend, Mister Piccolo, haha."

Gohan released his hold of the young carrot top's hand, giving the kid one final smile before placing his own hands at his side, "Anyways, like I said, whenever you feel you are ready, just come find me and let me know, okay? If there isn't anything else, I better head back to the castle, I'm sure my wife is wondering where I am. Hey, I got an idea, how about you come with me, it is starting to get late and dinner should be prepared soon. You can have a nice hot meal and we can discuss your training a bit more. What do you say? If not, I understand. Though I must admit, as a father, I don't condone allowing a kid wandering around all by himself in the dark, no matter how capable he may be. But the choice is up to you, Lute."

Lute looked out at the setting sun and back at Gohan, Lute didn't really know where his next meal was. Not like he wouldn't eat he just hated decision when it comes to anything but fighting, pizza, McRonalds, Burger Queen, the ever so under rated dairy king. Going with Gohan to eat meant he wouldn't have to make such a weighty decision, the McRonalds vs Burger Queen paradox was to treacherous to contemplate besides Gohan had offered and to deny a home cooked meal for takeout was just rude.

Lute smiled "I would Love to have dinner with you I don't really worry about what lurks at night but anyone who picks their own ingredients makes delicious food." Lute rose higher off the ground looking at the castle in the distance. As Lute saw the castle in the distance He got an idea he quickly turned to Gohan and yelled "I'll race you there." He then spun back not waiting for any type of response Lute know he probably wasn't faster so he needed a slight head start. Lute's race started with a bang literally, He soared through the air with a tail of air following him in his path he laughed as he Flew diving and leaning as fast as he could. Lute spun in the air with his hands out just laughing he had never been in a castle and Lute loved new experiences. Lute wondered how many rooms it has as it narrowed into view.

Gohan laughed as the young orange haired kid took off in a flash, not even waiting for a response. In that regard, Lute reminded Gohan of his younger brother, Goten when he was about Lute's age. Always eager to do things, taking off on a whim towards the direction of the next adventure, unwavering and unafraid of what may be. Gohan knew that he was going to have his hands full with Lute, a drastic contrast to the kind of students he had trained in the recent past, but as a mentor, it was always nice to have variety. It kept Gohan on his toes. Which was good for both his students and himself. With all the new responsibilities he had, Gohan couldn't afford to become complacent.

"Hey! Wait up!" Gohan shouted as he took off after the small child, shooting off into the sky like a bullet towards Lute.

Gohan knew he could easily defeat Lute in the little race of theirs, and he was tempted to prove just how so, but instead he decided against it, simply catching up with the kid so they were neck and neck.

"Haha, you got to do better than that if you want to beat me!" Gohan exclaimed as he took the lead, but only by a half of a body or so, looking back at Lute with a big grin on his face, "Well come on now! You said you wanted to race, so let's see what you got!"

Gohan continued to laugh as he looked back at Lute one final time before turning his attention in front of him. The castle was upon them as Gohan started to make his descent, still slightly ahead of Lute. He wanted to make it appear that the race was neck and neck.
