Naozumi walked on the mountain road today, he was going to do some training at a local training camp he knew. Of course, he was stronger than most fighters there. He was off of school for the week so he decided to use this time to try and strengthen his mind, the aura and the lifestyle of the city was not one for being calm and methodical as the people there were rash and loud-mouthed. His black hair had waved in the wind, as he sensed someone he had not seen in a while. His eyes widened as he said.

"You..!"

Okane Akai, clad in his blue kimono and his two swords strapped to his side, quietly walked the mountain road. His eyes were closed as he walked the path, but he had walked this path many times before. However, he stopped in his tracks when a familiar ki signature came in range, followed by a voice expressing surprise. Opening his fold blue eyes, the blue-haired swordsman then narrowed them at the sight of his nemesis. His right hand, which had been draped at his side, dropped to the hilt of his Suisasu, a powerful sword forged from the essence of a Greed Demon that possessed great power.

Suisasu had always disgusted Naozumi, entirely because of one reason. The first reason is because Okane, who's real name was Daiki Sasami, couldn't use the powerful sword Yamishinsha, the sword gifted to him by their sensei as motivation to become more selfless, refused to accept that lesson. Instead, he had a less powerful sword made from demonic essence that channeled his own selfishness to fuel it's power while he stubbornly tried to find a way to unlock the power of the Yamishinsha without accepting their master's lesson. It was an ugly, disgusting sword which matched the self-centeredness of it's master.

Okane's face settled into a cold glare, his lips slightly shifting down into an annoyed sneer. "Mitsue" he said in a stoic, disinterested manner, though hs cold blue eyes flashed with a hint of hatred.

The difference between the two could not be more distinct, their attitude, origins, and view on life was much more different along with their attire. While Okane was wearing his kimono, he was wearing a school uniform from school. They were granted great swords, but he chose to stick with his own sword. The sword that was given to him by his great grandfather, who was the only person who believed in him, it was a long sword, but so light most would play it off as a toy or something worthless, it was what he used, none of his swords were ever as fancy as Okane's.

The two would cross paths, after he left his fellow classmate after he betrayed their master, he did not want to speak with him at all. But even now, he felt the urge to fight him. He walked past him, closing his eyes and looking down before looking back up, his very dark brown eyes looking black in the daylight like this. Even though he was surprised at first, he could keep his thought process cool, t wasn't as if he was a school girl in love, he was a grown adult now. Well, almost. "What brings you here, Akai."

Even now, his dark brown eyes flashed with kindness and mercy, but he was not willing to forgive this man for betraying the person who took them under their will. The blue swordsman, and the forgotten swordsman, now together once more.

Okane Akai, formerly Daiki Sasaki, did not react or say anything to Naozumi, instead just choosing to watch as his arch-rival started walking towards him. In response, the blue swordsman quietly strolled towards him, and as they passed one another, he stopped at the exact same time his rival did. The stoic, ice cold swordsman didn't say anything, instead letting silence form between them as he, too, looked up into the sky, taking in the beautiful blue that reminded him of himself. His long blue hair and fancy silk kimono blew in the wind, the swordsman not even turning to look at him even as their shoulders brushed against one another.

When his bitter rival asked him what brought him here, the swordsman didn't even look at him as he replied. "My desire to" was all he said in response. His responses were as short and blunt as always. While it was only three words, it perfectly encapsulated the fact that Okane was still just as selfish as the last time Naozumi and him crossed paths. He was as cold, selfish, and uncaring as the icy blue of his hair, eyes and clothing, which was far different from the whiny brat he used to be.

"I see you haven't changed one bit Sasaki-san." he said to him, when they stopped together at the same path. He noticed the change from him being a whiny brat to this cold and stoic figure. Though, this change was nothing new, he learned from the master how to channel his battle self. And he was sure that he kept up the act because he was trained that way. In contrast to his kind, warm hearted and merciful self, his soul being as white as the shirt he was wearing. He gave a smile to him, one that wasn't of genuine pleasure but rather rivalry he took his sword out immediately.

He got into his stance, and then waited for Okane to come at him. "I do not think there will ever be a time, where I will forgive you for what you have done, Daiki." he switched from last name to first name quite often now. It was because of the lifestyle of the city. The two have long known each other, and he was sure that both of them knew each others techniques and fighting style, his wasn't one of pure outclassment of his opponent, it was one of being clever and playing the cards right. He was weaker than most swordsmen, so he made up for it with brains.

That name, he remembered the name he used to have before he had made his life-altering decision. Naozumi knew full well that Daiki Sasaki was very much dead, and what laid in his place was the mercenary known as Okane Akai, and yet he still uttered that name as if he were still the same person. To be called that by his nemesis let him know that even to this day, Mitsue could not let go of the past. Then again, he supposed to he was a hypocrite, as he still clung to bits of the past here and there.

"Do not speak that name again" he said in a frosty tone, which indicated Naozumi had hit a sore spot when it came to the usually stoic and self-controlled swordsman. Okane detested his old name, as it reminded him of the time when he was still a whiny little brat. He was no longer a self-entitled little child anymore, now he was a man, as cold as the stone that made up the nearby mountain. To hear that detestable old name of his reminded him of times when he was too weak to take what he wanted. He had slain his master, so therefore he became the master.

The man formerly known as Daiki Sasaki opened his eyes a bit wider when he heard the sound of Naozumi's sword sliding out of it's sheath. His well-trained ears didn't pick up the sound of a sword slicing through the air, but rather the impact of feet against the ground. Then he heard a soft slash of Naozumi's blade, this one wasn't an attack, but rather an indication of him getting down into his stance.

"So, you wish to die just like our old master" he shot back in a cool, but amused, tone of voice. Unknown to Naozumi, a small smirk appeared on the blue swordsman's face, and in a flash, he drew his demon blade and turned on his heel, getting down into his own stance. At that point, Naozumi could see the small smirk on his face.

"I don't wish to die. But here and now. I will beat your strongest, with my weakest.' he said to him, Okane was the person who was on top of his whole life, and stayed there staggering just a little bit after the years but remaining high. He was the one who climbed up from the bottom. He worked very hard for what he got through, and he was sure now that the training that he did before, was about to pay off. It wasn't like he was going to let himself die by the hands of the man who disrespected the teaching ways of their sensei.

It seemed that he was going to have to take the first move here. He was not always keen on fighting first as it gave disadvantage to him if it messed up. His skill set were not like his, as he focused on thinking more than 5 steps ahead of his opponent, while giving out weaker current attacks. "I will not lose to you, Daiki." he said his name once more, he did not give up on the past, after all the past is what makes the present. It's what made you, you. One's way of life was their own.

He had then started to run towards the blue swordsman, getting speed and momentum to strike first. The first strike would purposely be weaker, to test how much of his power he might be using.

Okane Akai's smirk lessened a bit at the uttering of his old name once more, but he did not respond verbally. Instead, he tightened his stance, displaying the iron-like rigidity his style was famous for. While Naozumi was mainly someone who fought with his brains, the blue swordsman had a style that was deceptive, an iron-clad defense, and yet also possessing swift movements as well as ferocious, precise strikes. Combined with his knowledge on the human body and where precisely to strike, and he was a very deadly opponent to face up close, even for someone like Naozumi, who knew him very well.

However, one thing Naozumi didn't know was that all their confrontations had also caused the blue swordsman to develop analytical and strategic thinking of his own. Nowhere near as good as Naozumi's, but still more than enough to make himself just that more dangerous. So, when Naozumi came at him with a sprinting sword strike, Okane performed an expert block that made their blades clash with a loud clanging sound, sparks flying between them. However, the shocking thing was that he blocked Naozumi's strike with the usage of only one hand on the hilt of his sword.

Okane's smirk widened just a bit at Naozumi, and then performed an expert spin that knocked Naozumi's blade away, but he didn't stop there. He continued his spin until it became a full rotation, performing a slash mid-spin in a quick burst of speed and power to try and take Naozumi's head of.

The two swords have clashed, making the sound of the metal hitting. The fight had started, with that. He was caught off guard, by the amount of analytical thinking that Okane now had. He was much smarter now than he was before, this was going to be a tough fight for him. Along with that the way of his block was one that showed that his strength was also increased exponentially, he did not expect him to grow out of the phase he was in when he killed the master, but he grew up into a swordsman he could respect.

When his blade was knocked away, he immediately suspected that he would do a spin type attack. He decided to be methodical about this, and jump back using much more force to make sure he wouldn't be in the way of the sword. He didn't need to be the first to be injured in the fight. Though that's how he learned how his opponents fought. "You've become much smarter and stronger." he commented, that was all he said for some odd reason, and with that he went back in. It seemed he was taking the initiative first. Though with the training he received a few weeks ago.

When he went for a slash, he misdirected the slash as he used more effort on his swing, to completely change the direction of the sword as it was already in motion. He was sure that this was going to be a tough fight, but he needed to win, to avenge his master.

Okane heard Naozumi's comment about how he had grown stronger and smarter than he was in their last encounter, but he showed no reaction to this with his eyes or face. When Naozumi leapt out of the way of his blade, Okane had already stopped his spin, and was sprinting forward with his sword over his shoulder, ready to unleash a devastating lunging strike upon his rival with his sword. Of course, when Naozumi struck out at him, he performed a defensive, circular spinning slash as they came in close to one another again, the force behind his swing knocking his rival's sword away.

After he knocked Naozumi's blade away, he jumped up into the air and over the other swordsman, turning around while he was still in the air and landing behind his rival feet-first. He then lunged at him and performed a quick slash meant to bisect him at the waist. "I will achieve Killing Perfection" was all he said in response to the humble orphan's comment of him having grown stronger and smarter.
