With that, he heard the comment he made. It was like him to say that. He was used to insults given his family name, and given his family he was an expert at taking insults. No matter if they were true or not ture. Though now was something he had to dodge. What he saw was the cresent moon shaped energy blasts that were being sliced at him. It was too close to dodge. Meaning he would have to do something himself. With that, the attempt to cut through him wouldn't be successful. As he had to use his own Ki now to dispel the attack. He was a bit tired, but could keep going. He could barely use ki but if he needed to he was going to use it. With that he made a defensive stance, the stance was his original stance except his sword would be a bit tilted meaning that he was ready to do an irregular dodge if it was something he couldn't handle. He was making silent breaths, trying to catch his own breath, WC: 181 TWC: 2360 |

Okane's eyes narrowed once more when he saw Naozumi stop his Ki slicing attack, but then a small smirk appeared on his face when he heard his nemesis take deep breaths with his well-trained ears. While Naozumi might be able to hide the fatigue from other people he fought, the blue swordsman had exceptionally well-trained senses, and as a result of that he was easily able to hear the deep breaths of air he was making. Considering his nemesis had used his Ki to cancel out his attack, and his lacking ability to use it, he was far from surprised by his fatigued nature. Analyzing the defensive stance that Naozumi took, he decided a frontal attack wouldn't be worthwhile, and instead opted for something else. With his sword pointed backwards, he sprinted at the orphaned swordsman using his full speed, but at no point did he raise his sword to indicate he was going to attack. When it seemed like he was going to ram into his nemesis, at the last second he suddenly sprinted past Naozumi's right, which indicated Okane had actually fooled him by the position of his body where exactly he was in relation to Naozumi. As he sprinted past Naozumi, he then spun around and maneuvered behind him, then attempted to impale him through the chest on his blade. WC: 221 TWC: 2,430 |

Naozumi saw him sprint past his sight. He was astonished at his speed but it wasn't enough to make him go off guard. He closed his eyes, his rival might have forgotten about this, since he only used it once on him. He closed his eyes, and felt the enviroment around him. He felt for any changes in pressure, or any vibrations on the ground. If he used his eyes he would be even slower if he used all of his other senses together he would achieve greatness, but using his sight would impair him as it was what was relied on the most by everyone else. He stood in his defensive stance, and then felt a vibration in the air. When he spun around and tried to get behind him, he jumped back as he turned around. Back-pedaling as the blade almost pierced his chest. He didn't need something to stab his lungs as that would make him lose this battle immediately. He used his irregular blocking, to get the attack sent at him, though it was only useful for the first part as he was overpowered in the quick time that was. He jumped back and panted, he was using a lot more energy now. And if anything went wrong for him he might lose this battle. "I might have to show you one technique I still have..." He closed his eyes, and an aura around him flew, making his hair go up. He didn't have a name for it yet, but it was there. He had then started to dash towards Okane, at a much faster speed now, before he tried to do a cross cut on his chest, as he would add on an extra swing. ![]() WC: 289 TWC: 2649 |

His eyes narrowed when Naozumi managed to perfectly protect himself from the surprise blow he had sent out. His rival had a lot of interesting tricks, despite not being all that good of a swordsman. He had excellent skills in the sword, but the way he fought meant less time focused on the art of swordsmanship, not like Okane who trained regularly. So for him to be able to protect himself as perfectly as he did spoke of another trick in his mind. It didn't matter to him, though, because in the end he would stand victorious over his rival. When Naozumi summoned up some kind of aura, he was instantly on alert, and it was only thanks to incredible senses, as well as his impeccable speed and reaction time, that he was able to block the blow as well as he did, the extra swing that was thrown at him as well. While it was a good attempt on Naozumi's part, Okane had shown in this one defensive move that he was now on a much higher level than he used to be. For him to be able to protect himself from such a blow, even with Naozumi's increased speed, showed just how keen his senses, reaction time, awareness, and defensive capabilities all were. With a small smirk on his face, he pushed back against Naozumi's sword with enough force to make him stagger back, and spoke up. "Decent, but still not good enough" he said in that calm and stoic tone of voice of his, seeming awfully unperturbed by the surprising increase in his rival's speed. He then started spinning around rapidly like a tornado, and darted at his nemesis with his sword making powerful spinning slashes with every full rotation he performed, which were all rather great in number. With that, he was sure that his opponent had more in him, and that he wouldn't be too phased by this increase. He mastered this technique enough to use it for a longer duration than one minute, though for the cost of power. This was around 30% weaker than its original form, but it could be used forever. He grinned, as he was then saw the protected blow. It was around time he smiled. Of coruse, he couldn't be called a swordsman if he didn't enjoy such a heated battle anyway. If he didn't enjoy a heated battle for this it wasn't as if he liked swordsmanship. In his stoic voice, he could tell on the inside that even with their hatred, they loved this fight. Right now for both of the fighters, they aren't thinking about anything not even vengence, jus that they will beat the strong person in front of him. This was him, except he showed his emotions. When he started to spin like a tornado, he went to his stance again of using irregular guarding, the swings were strong making him back up more and more with each swing that he had to defend against. He Couldn't take them all. Though when that was finished, he did say a few names that would ring a bell in Okane's ear "Secret Sword: Raiko." The lightning attack, where using even the smallest of ki he would manifest electricity in his sword, which he would swing multiple swings to send out towards Okane, while still having a high voltage electrical conduction with his sword as he tried to slice the chest of his opponent in front of him. Making a cross section cut directly on his heart, (Well where it would be) if it did hit. WC: 300 TWC: 2949 |

Okane was enjoying this battle between them, due to their past history together. The blue-haired vagabond considered Naozumi to be his only worthy rival, and was determined to come out on top. He would finally prove himself as superior to his rival, and then he could finally have the satisfaction that his way of the sword was superior to Naozumi's. As his spin attack was blocked, he felt and witnessed his enemy move in close. Hearing the build up of electricity, he used his full speed to dart to the side of the electric attack sent his way, jumping in the air and performing a flip that allowed him to gain some distance. Smirking at Naozumi, he stuck his arm out with his sword pointed to the side, and charged up his Ki. This resulted in a build up of Ki on his sword, and as that smirk on his face widened up a bit, he retaliated with an attack of his own, one that Naozumi had no knowledge. "Calamity Dragon" he said, swinging his sword of hatred downwards directly towards the enemy swordsman and unleashing a powerful shredding force of energy that formed into the shape of a long, serpent-like dragon that proceeded to shred everything around it as it darted at his nemesis. Just like Okane, Naozumi was very interested and enjoying this battle to his hearts content. Even if he had different views from his opponent, views, opinions, all of that goes to waste when you're in a fight. There is none of that in a fight there is only skill and the will to win. So he was very happy fighting, while he was fighting him. He tried to pay attention to what was happening to him, he was sure that Okane was trying to think ahead of him instead of just living in the present. Of course, he could be very predictable right now. He saw a technique used by Okane, now. It was the technique, the Calamity Dragon, and he swung the sword of darkness and evil towards him. And with that there was a force of energy heading towards him shaped like a serpent. He was sure that if he tried to dodge now, he would get countered by Okane. With that he ran towards the dragon with his technique still on as he moved he could not be seen one bit from the eyes of Okane, though he could be sensed and the sounds would be loud enough to be heard while faint. His sword was still sparking with energy. He clashed with the dragon coming towards him, it was a hard fight right here. Even with his strength right now he was struggling with breaking the serpent that was heading towards him. "Nice to see this technique used." He had a bit longer before this technique was going to take it's toll on him. WC: 270 TWC: 3219 |

Okane narrowed his eyes when Naozumi met his dragon head-on and tried to block it. He had to admit that Naozumi was brave for attempting to do so, but unfortunately for him, Okane had complete control over his Calamity Dragon. Unable to resist, he smirked at Naozumi and spoke up. "Unexpected, but foolish" he said in response to his rival blocking his attack. With a whip of his sword, the dragon pushed off the sword that was blocking it, which would knock Naozumi off-balance, then twisted around the other swordsman like a snake, eventually winding up behind him as it attempted to shred the other swordsman into tiny pieces by barreling into him from behind. Naozumi was pushed back from the dragon, and he almost lost his balance, but in the split second he was. The dragon had twisted around him, and he would try to shred the swordsman. Naozumi's eyes widened as he did. Trying to quickly do irregular blocking to block it, but his timing was off, and instead of his midline, he redirected the dragon towards his side, now it had peirced that side. He felt the pain from it, but his breathing didn't change. Though one of his eyes were closed, he kept a stare at Okane, before disappearing from where he was. He reappeared in an already moving swing. He timed the swing just right so that he could seemingly to the untrained eye phase through Okane but still having a slash at him. "You got me there." Naozumi's cold blue eyes narrowed when he saw that Naozumi managed to avoid most of the damage from his Calamity Dragon. Preparing himself, he moved into a defensive stance and enhanced his senses so that he could best prepare for any attack that came his way. As Naozumi came flying at him, he brought up his sword and managed to bat the sword away before it could do any real damage, though the sword still managed to slice a rather large cut across his cheek that leaked blood. Okane leapt away upon feeling the sting of the cut, and spoke up. "Your speed has improved, but your skill is still lacking, which is yet one more thing I am superior to you in" he said in a stoic manner, before he then lunged at Naozumi. He grabbed the hilt of his sword with both hands, and showcased his knowledge on the human body by aiming seven precise stabbing attacks aimed at every weak point on the body that would lead to a painful, fatal case of injury if hit. They were different as night and day, Naozumi being a protector and Okane being a killer who did what he did for money. However, not even Naozumi could deny that his blue-haired rival was skilled. His knowledge on the human body, his incredible reflexes and skills in swordsmanship, his quickness and focused power in his attacks, not to mention the usage of Ki. While they were bitter enemies, it was clear that Okane trained to make himself a lethal opponent to face, making use of skill and other abilities over trickery and outsmarting an opponent. Despite his selfish nature, Naozumi couldn't deny that Okane had always been good with a sword, and the years since the blue-haired swordsman killed their master had just made him even more skilled and dangerous than before.
