Naozumi was at a disadvantage here, since he was injured most of his movements wouldn't always be as strong as it would be normally. But with tha he was analyzing what he could do now. And Okane had said some words which could say something about him. He didn't mind the words that much, but that's where he was wrong, he was not as badly skilled as he thought. He just didn't expect full control of a long ranged attack like that one. Though one could guess it, but now it was time to put more use into his power. He had not a lot longer before he would pass out from the amount of stress being put onto his body. Naozumi was not the same as Okane, he did not use his sword to attack, mostly he used it to defend against evil. He had done so much to just go against the wits of the evil ones. He should introduce him to his other rival, they would make quite the fighters to fight against each other. Since his rival showed up a lot, most of his prowess was now into techniques that were anti-sword techniques, meaning using them against a sword was going to be difficult to pull off. Okane was attacking, quite similarly to his rival. Well lucky him, he didn't have too much of a struggle against these precise attacks, of course he tried his best defending against as many as he could, though he would slip up and get hit by a few, leading to more blood loss. Luckily when he got hit it was the usage of his irregular blocking which redirected the attack so that it does not hurt him as bad as Okane wanted it to be. "Your precision has increased greatly." he complemented At that moment, he realized he should try using the fighting style of his rival, sure it was a bit underhanded to use someone else's techniques in his own battle but there was all fairness in war, and he was sure that his enemy in front of him would use any technique to his advantage to win against him. Though different their styles were sort of similar, it was abusing the negligence of someone else and using it against them. Naozumi had disappeared again, and appeared right in front of Okane slashing once, then disappearing again to appear in front of him once more, he kept doing this until Okane realized what he was doing, he would change it up, to hitting his side then. "You say that now, but I see lots of flaws in you as well." he said, finally responding. WC: 443 TWC: 3801 Edited by Naozumi Mitsue, Apr 8 2017, 05:37 PM.

Okane recognized this new move as something that was very unlike Naozumi to do. It wasn't in his style to attack like this, so this had caught him off-guard enough for him to receive a number of slashing wounds that leaked blood, staining his fancy blue kimono. It was only thanks to his self-control that he did not show he was in pain as he struck out with his sword and blocked the attack aimed at his side, since he had started reading the movements of his opponent and keeping a firm awareness of what was going on around him. "Moon Cleaver" was all he said as he leapt backwards and charged Ki into his sword. He then performed a single horizontal slash, and since his sword was glowing with Ki, this caused a crescent moon-shaped slicing blade of energy to fly out at Naozumi. The blade of energy was so sharp that one could even see it cleaving the wind hitting it right in half, which was a testament to how sharp this Moon Cleaver attack was. On top of that, the Moon Cleaver also traveled at an insane speed, showcasing that it was just as fast as it was sharp. These Techniques were new additions in Okane's arsenal, showcasing precise control over his Ki. Naozumi had never seen these deadly attacks before, as in their last encounter Okane had just used melee attacks. These moves of his were exceptionally lethal, the Moon Cleaver especially since the sharpness was focused into a very thin shape. This showed that the blue-haired swordsman had upped his lethality tremendously. WC: 265 TWC: 3,633 |

One of Naozumi's traits as a swordman, was that he could figure out the fighting style of a fighter very quickly even if they were not the one to use swords. He's done it countless times, but even if he knew, he couldn't always beat them. That was the case with his rival, though he did beat him a few times. Using him now, he was quite happy that he met his rival. Or he would have not caught this suprirse to Okane who even was surprised by him changing fighting styles. Sure it wasn't as effective as his rival, but it was effective nonetheless. The blade of energy was coming at him, and he quickly dashed towards it using his ability now. He used the kinetic force within his body as he moved and the force of him also slashing at his advantage, he had twice the force now. To keep the moon cleaver at bay, even if it took him quite some time before the attack finally dissipated. He felt like he would have lost that fight, he had never seen these techniques before. He had to catch on quickly or he might get outplayed by Okane right here. He couldn't use ki very well so he was at a disadvantage. It did show his new lethality, but Naozumi was not faltered by this, actually he was quite impressed. Now moving towards Okane in such a high speed, he could use another attack in his disposal "Saigeki!: He focused a lot of power into one point into his body, leading to a great piercing strike volley coming towards Okane at a close range. He was wasting more energy. WC: 280 TWC: 4080 |

Okane was inwardly annoyed by Naozumi managing to protect himself as well as he did from his Moon Cleaver. That was alright, though, he would wind up winning today's encounter, it was just a matter of time. While Naozumi was a decent rival, he knew that his rival's stamina wasn't the best, due to his physical abilities not being as much of a focus as they were with Okane. So, when Naozumi came at him, the blue-haired swordsman reciprocated by moving forward at him with the intent to deal some damage to him. Right before they met, however, Okane suddenly made use of the Afterimage move to avoid the close-range attack. As his image was struck by the close-ranged attack, Okane reappeared in front of Naozumi with his sword cocked back. "Sting of Murder" he whispered in an ominous manner, before he lunged forward at Naozumi and unleashed what seemed like a single deadly fast slash. In actuality, it was a case of true speed that allowed Okane to unleash seven precise strikes aimed at the weak points on the human body so quickly that it seemed like he only sent out one sword strike. Naozumi saw that Okane was about to get hit, yet why wasn't he trying to dodge. His eyes widened at the realization that it was an afterimage. He could do the same himself, but it wasn't as advanced as Okane's was. But that didn't matter, just where he was coming from did. When Okane appeared in front of Naozumi, he saw him wispering a word, and using some quick thinking. Decided to change stances again, back into his normal stance, as he had used his irregular blocking once more, to get as many as he could there. This time, he was successful, though. He was losing his breath at the same time, even if the powerful technique didn't hit, it took it's toll on Naozumi. Naozumi was going to use his fastest technique, which was designed right after the day master died. He wanted to get stronger to avenge his master, and finally he could use the technique he had been training with for years, even maybe a quinquennium as passed from then, and he always made spare time to actually use this technique to fight. It was at a high ranking of his attacks now, full of flaws but still very refined. And with that he dashed towards Okane, and giving multiple slashes so fast that if Okane were to look at the shadows of Naozumi, they wouldn't match. That's how fast he was going, and how energy stressed he was pushing himself to be. "Oikage." WC: 247 TWC: 4327 |

Okane had very keen eyesight, and as such when Naozumi attacked him with this Oikage attack of his, he was able to spot the flaws in the attack. It was similar in nature to his Sting of Murder attack, but much less refined and rough around the edges. Quickly analyzing the flaws in the attack, he darted to the side to avoid the attacks sent his way at the soonest instance of an opening in his flawed attack, and after quickly following where he would move to next, he then stabbed at where he would be next with his sword to try and impale him on it. This was good, he did exactly as he thought, he spotted the flaws of the attack, and now it was time to get the pay off in the attack. When Okane tried to stab him, he got the proper counter to use his sword to push it up, leaving his chest wide open for attack, and he tried to go for a slash on his chest, trying to knock the wind out of him, he was hitting him with the dull side not to hit him and kill him, he didn't want to kill him. He was going to fight and spare him, or he would just be like him. "I see you took the bait!" He got it, using his technique he figured out the technique of Okane, and could better defend against him. WC: 136 TWC: 4463 |

If he weren't such a normally calm and collected person, he might have shown surprise at falling right into a trap. However, he was not the type to show his emotions, and instead immediately came up with a counter. He thrusted his sword out at Naozumi, and fired off a ball of concentrated wind that was meant to knock the air out of his rival and send him flying back, which would cancel out the attack. It wasn't meant to deal damage, instead act like a counter to any attack that came at him to keep himself from being hit by surprise close-range attacks. WC: 104 TWC: 4,038 |

He expected this reaction from Okane, but it was worth a try that he tried to do that attack, it was all really betting on how he would react, rather than something consistent. When his sword was thrusted towards Naozumi, Naozumi decided to jump back, and his attack was negated by the other attack, which had him fly back, but when he did he could control the said way he flew, having him glide in the air so he strafed around and then tried to do a downwards slash towards Okane while being in mid air as well, he was good at quick wittedness. Okane had tracked Naozumi's every movement using a combination of the Ki Sensing ability, combined with the usage of his own keen, well-trained senses, and as such was ready for the attack that was sent his way. Even when Naozumi came down at him with a downwards slash, he brought his sword up with one hand and blocked it expertly, their blades clashing with a loud clang and a flash of sparks. While they were deadlocked, he channeled Ki into his blade to magnify the sharpness for the sake of trying to cut through the sword that his rival used. WC: 100 TWC: 4,138 |
