After making an agreement that she could come back to the world of the living, Usatei was sent to this barren part of Earth. She remembered her reason for coming here instead of going back to the moon, was that she could maybe make some peace here on Earth, and learn about the cultures that this planet had as well. True, she had quite the distaste on Earthlings in general, but out of her peers, she was the type to act out normality for the sake of making friends, who knows she might actually make a friend here as well. The Rabbits ears twitched as she realized she had no idea where she was going, she didn't bring a map with her or anything. This made it quite the predicament. Placing her hand on her chin she had then thought of a solution. The solution came to be using magic, she had made a magic circle down on the flat ground which glowed a bright red and had a black outline surrounding it. This was the typical Lunarian magic circle. She summoned a map of this world, as well a power system to check who was powerful in the area. She then condensed the map and had it on her hand, though with this, to any magic user she would stick out like a sore thumb, being a susceptible target since essentially she was showing her magic off to the point where other magic users could sense her. Lunarian magic was intense, and the weakness of it was that there was no way to hide when one would be using magic, a big flaw but a manageable one. "Oh someone is close by." She noticed looking down on her minimap, there was someone who was at the very least formidable to fight, she wasn't looking for a fight but that person might. If I fight I might be in a pickle here...I still haven't recovered and regained my aim... She thought to herself, the dilemma she was faced with was either to Fight or Retreat, the third option would be completely on luck which was that the person wasn't looking for a violent meeting. She prayed to her god, the god of good fortune for Lunarians that she would be not attacked here. (Even if she died she didn't know about the gods or anything, she didn't see them but that doesn't make them obsolete) |

Yurin had managed to come back from Yardrat in pretty much no time thanks to her knowing Instant Transmission. She was left in awe at the sheer speed she managed to travel while she was using the technique, and to her amazement, she found out that she could use it in the middle of battle as well. She hadn't immediately left Yardrat of course, she stayed for a little while to make sure she mastered it, and boy was she glad that she did. Thanks to that, she had one hell of a trick up her sleeves, and she was always ready to pull it out if she needed to. Right now, she was currently training here in My. Paozu for the sake of working on her Instant Transmission a bit more. She noticed some occasions where she was a little sluggish to pull it off, and so far the training had provided her some exemplary results. She was giddy over hew new technique, and planned to make good use of it now that she had it for herself. Instant Transmission was a hell of a boon, and she was going to make damn sure that she never forgot about it. However, she had to stop in the middle of her training when she picked up a rather powerful Ki Signature near by, which caused her posture to stiffen. Yurin didn't recognize the Ki Signature, but judging by the feeling she was picking up from it, it didn't feel like a threat to her. There was no inherent malice or anything in the person's ki signature that signified they were of an unsavory disposition. Her curiosity getting the best of her, she decided to track down this person, heading their way with the usage of Instant Transmission as it was much faster. She appeared in front of the person with her index and middle fingers pressed against her forehead, and then let her arm drop down to her side as she looked the woman up and down with an inquiring gaze. The bunny ears gave away the fact that this person wasn't Human, at least not fully, and crossed her arms over her chest as she raised an eyebrow up at her. She noticed the map in her hands, and the green-haired witch was able to tell that they were lost. Figuring that she might as well try and help her out, she spoke up. "You look a little lost there. Is there anything I can do to help?" she said to Usatei with a curious tone of voice. WC: 426 |

The woman came to her first. Suddenly appearing in front of her like it was nothing, she would be more afraid of this but the elders could do this as well, it was them moving so fast that she couldn't see them, this woman must be a fast woman then. In her head she was thinking what this woman might want with ehr she didn't have any money, nor did she look rich...maybe she was out here to do this mugging thing she heard of in the city! There were so many things that could happen on Earth it was quite overwhelming. "Eh? I don't really need anything right now. Thank you for asking-" she stopped herself from finishing that sentence, and she realized that the woman was looking at the map at her hand. "Actually! Yes! I would love some help! From what you can see on this map..." she inched closer to the woman to show the map in its biggest form, big enough so that there was a full scale map that was 3D of this area, about 50 miles in area (relative) "I was wondering if you could show me the way to a city or something... Or a village! I just got to this planet and I was hoping there would be more civilizations marked on Earth!" Crap she sounded like a total alien! What if this woman was a nativist?! What was she going to do? She couldn't think of anything and it scared her too. She tried to hide it to the best of her ability but her body language was already conveying the message that she was quite afraid and new to this place, in fact by her syntax and diction one could infer the fact that she was new to this planet, an alien of sorts (as if this planet didn't have enough already...) Usatei decided to introduce herself. "My name is Usatei. I'm a Lunarian." she said to Yurin, as she took her hand out to shake it, she heard from a friend that this was how humans greeted each other by shaking hands, anything else was a meaning for another type of person. She couldn't remember all the formalities nor could she remember the jargon of this planet she learned from the classes that was mandatory to take before entering the military... She looked curious of this planet, and her ears were long and she had a big fluffy tail behind her, it was clear she was a rabbit. Her red eyes were also clearly exaggerated as they were crimson red. Her blazer matching her skirt with a white polo underneath, she had a carrot tie under her blazer as well. She wore black stockings with brown shoes as well. WC: 460 TWC: 862 |

Yurin raised an eyebrow at Usatei's comment about having just gotten to Earth. Either the woman was crazy, or she was serious and she really was from another planet. Considering she went to Yardrat and found aliens living on that planet, not to mention what she knew of the Saiyans and Namekians, she wasn't very surprised by this revelation of the woman being from space. It was no wonder she was lost, she had never stepped foot on Earth, and because of that, she didn't know where the points of civilization on Earth. Just what she needed, to be a tourist. She certainly wasn't going to complain, though, since the last thing she wanted to do was give this woman a bad first impression of what her species were like. Just because some Earthlings were ruthless and mean, didn't mean that she had to act that way herself. In response to what, she allowed an amused smile to appear on her face. She found the woman's nervousness a bit endearing, it reminded her of Hazel in a way, and she liked that girl. The shyness of another person was always a source of genuine amusement for the green-haired witch, few of which could ever match. "I already know the existence of several aliens, so I'm not at all surprised at the idea of you being from space. Your map is outdated by a fair bit, there are far more locations on Earth that what is marked on that map of yours" Yurin said to Usatei with an amused glint in her eyes. It was clear that whoever gave Usatei that map either had as little clue about Earth as Usatei herself did, or they swindled her with an old map for the sake of making some very easy coin from the bunny girl. The woman introduced herself as Usatei, a member of a species that was from the moon. Raising an eyebrow up in surprise at this, she reached out and clasped hands with the woman, shaking her firmly. "Nice to meet you, Usatei. My name is Yurin, and let me officially welcome you to Earth. It may not seem like much, but I guarantee that there is plenty of things here to surprise and intrigue you, if just give it the time and patience so that it has a chance" Yurin said to the Lunarian with an easygoing grin on her face. The woman reassured her with the saying that she knew many aliens, and since she didn't show much hostility she was going to assume that this woman was welcoming to different people. She didn't want to say anything about it then she might be in trouble with her so she decided to then hear out what she said next, she introduced herself as well and also said some stuff about Earth that she already knew. To be honest, she might be the only Lunarian who thinks like her she really hoped at the very least the closest friends she had could integrate in this planet. The easygoing grin made her feel at ease, but the real problem lied here that her map was outdated. What she thought to herself was that the Lunarians didn't update their map but she could update it herself, they did have a satelite from the moon map all of Earth, too bad it was actually bad... "So my map is outdated...ehhh? So thats why I haven't been able to go anywhere. Can you show me the closest city then? I just need a place to stay before I try and learn how this planet works. What are the laws here?" she asked This conversation would be going while either walking, or flying or even running. She wanted to learn about the planet and this woman could teacher about the basics before she really learned how to live in this planet. At the very least, Lunarians and Earthlings had the same common language. "How does the currency system work here as well? Do you have to pay in Gold and Silver?' was her next question and she had a little more after that as they would then get to the city. She did have more to ask alright... "What about taboos? What can I not do that is not against the laws here?" it was clear she was very new to this planet, after all she did just come back from being dead! As they walked/flew her stomach grumbled once more this time louder than before. She blushed bashfully a bit as she tried to hide her embarassment. "Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" She didn't want to be ridiculed because of this phenomena, being really new to this planet was tough. She was going to need to get used to a lot of things! WC: 401 TWC: 1263 |

Yurin raised an eyebrow at the question she was asked. Usatei wanted her to point the location of the nearest city so she could start gaining her bearings on where to go. Well, that was easily done, as she knew from experience in her travels that the closest city to Mt. Paozu was West City, home of Capsule Corporation. It was the third largest city in the world, behind Satan City and Central City, which was the world capitol. She had no problem with pointing out the city to Usatei, as it was something that could be very easily done. "Sure thing, Usatei. The closest city to this location is West City, about 200 miles to the East from here. It is the home of capsule corporation, and the third largest city in the world. West City has a library with modern maps you can make use of when you get there" she said to Usatei, pointing over her shoulder with her thumb to show Usatei which direction East was in. She figured helping the Lunarian out like she was would give her a good first impression of Earthlings. After all, first impressions meant a lot, and even if Usatei's experiences with Earthlings were more pleasant after a terrible first impression, the sourness of that first impression never truly went away. The question about the currency seemed odd, since she Usatei would have acquired some of Earth's currency in some manner. The fact that she thought her race used precious metals like gold and silver seemed odd to Yurin, who has been used to paper currency for so long. Granted she knew that in the past, her race used precious metals as currency, but the invention of paper currency had eliminated that, instead turning precious metals into commodities with a lot of monetary value. "We use paper currency known as Zeni. We used to use precious metals as currency, but the problem with that is that Earth generally has a finite amount of those resources, so eventually we would run out. The invention of paper currency allowed us to introduce significantly more amounts of currency than with precious metals, as well as produce the currency much faster. Last I heard, some scientists were working on digital currency, but it's nowhere near being done yet" Yurin explained to Usatei as she reached into one of her pockets to pull out a wad of paper bills that she called Zeni for her to see. The question about moral taboos and what is against the law was something that gave Yurin pause. The question Usatei just asked her was a very complicated one, and if she tried to explain the intricacies of the human morality code, social taboos, and laws, the both of them would be standing her for a long time. She was sure some aspects of human culture, moral taboos, and laws would prompt a bit of confusion and questions from Usatei. It wasn't because she was dumb, but because humans had an interesting thought process about what to do and what not to do. "In all honesty, social taboos, morality code, and the laws of Earth is a very complex subject to get into, and I will explain why. The Earth is generally a monarchy, ran by King Furry, but it's also separated into territories that operate slightly differently than other territories. They all have slightly different forms of government, with different social taboos and sometimes different laws. It can be very confusing explaining why some parts of Earth have different taboos than others, so you'll just have to use the library in West City to figure it out on your own. If I tried to explain everything here, it would take far too long" she said to Usatei with a frown on her face. She couldn't help but giggle to herself when Usatei's stomach started to growl at her. "Don't worry about it, our stomachs growl at us too in order to tell us that we're getting hungry. If you like, I can show you some places in West City to grab a bite to eat, or we can hunt and forage for our food" Yurin said to the Lunarian. WC: 697 TWC: 1,525 |

Usatei had leanred where the closest city was, it was 200 miles from here. She was thinking to herself...What's a mile? That was a good question, so right after all of these explanations that this woman was going to get into she had then asked the question. "How much is a mile? How long is that? Where I come from we use a different measuring system, I'd like to know the basics of that maybe like the small stuff!" she said to her, from the looks of it, 200 miles was a long ways from here, it must have been the equivalent of their long distance measuring system. Though what got her interested was the culture she explained, like the Lunarian she was she tried comparing Earthlings and Lunarians once more, she tried thinking about it. She was comparing with what she got to what she experienced, the biggest difference was that there were varying cultures with the people, if it was so vastly different that she couldn't explain it then it was very different than the moon, where even with small variants, the culture was essentially the same, which was comfortable for her, if she ever was stationed somewhere she could fit in and make friends! However that wasn't the case with Earthlings, they were different, they embraced that. That was entirely new to her, usually change in society takes years if not decades for the simplest things since people hate being different on the moon by a large scale, the last time there was a difference in ideals by Lunarians that was in a large scale was 50 years ago, with the dawn of Capitalism as a economic stance, of course there were many against it but many were for it, and then social wars between that happened, and many to this day still believe in the old economic system. With so many things different about this world and her own, she was reassured to not worry about it by Yurin, this made her feel slightly better as she had proposed that they could eat, of course, food the best thing about cultures was their food everyone loved food in their own way right? Earthlings must be creative with food because of all of their differences, this made Usatei think, how did the food in Earth compare to Lunarian food? That was a question she asked herself a lot even when on the moon, she was always curious about Earthlings, instead of full heartedly hateful towards them for no reason, it was a revolutionary thought. "What do diets on Earth mainly consist of? Is it mostly meat? Vegetables? Grains? Fruits?" she hoped there wasn't something extra with the Earthlings in food, some other type of food that didn't fit those categories. (Note, she has never had beans) She thought about the food on Earth and her stomach was conflicted, after not eating for days she was pretty malnourished, but at the same time her pride as a Lunarian attempted to stop the grumbling of her stomach. "Why don't you show me that first?" she asked, as she was analyzing these differences more, and the more she thought about it the more different Lunarians were from Earthlings, well for now. She had an abstract view of Humans and Earth in general, being the only things she knew was in History classes but even then a gut feeling told her that there was some bias between the actual history and the history her own people taught her, after all why would one not make themselves look like the heros compared to someone or something they hate? This did bring her back to money. "How expensive are Earthling meals? Since they run a currency they aren't the types to be handed food by the government! Where I come from, that used to be the case until 50 years ago, before this system called Capitalism stepped in and actually made everyone benefit from it, people produce more when they have rewards or so the theory says." it was an honest question, she didn't have any of this 'zeni' she just hoped that coins were used, since the woman did say that they used to do that, maybe they still accept it! Yurin frowned to herself at the more mathematical question that Usatei asked her in regards to how much distance a mile was. Usatei did say that the Lunarians used a different measurement system than those on Earth did, which did make a bit of sense to her, but unfortunately for her math wasn't really her best subject, so she was at a loss to explain to her how much distance that was in a measurement she would understand. So, she opted for a different approach in an attempt to try to avoid getting out of having to do some math. "I honestly don't know what kind of measurement system I can use that would answer that question for you. My best advice is to just keep going East until you come upon a large city, which is when you'll know you're in West City. There is a specific landmark in West City called Capsule Corporation, which is a large, yellow dome-shaped building in the city that has the words Capsule Corp painted on the front in black. It stands out among most of the other buildings, so you'l know you're in West City when you see the Capsule Corp. building" she said to her in a nervous manner, trying to hide the fact that math wasn't really her best subject. The question Usatei asked her about Earthling diets was, thankfully, a subject that was much easier for her to answer. Earthlings, both Human-Types and Animal-Types, have a variety of different diets, their diets and tastes just as diverse as their cultures and forms of government. She was sure the answer she was going to give might confuse the Lunarian, but she was still going to do her best to explain the kind of dietary habits that Earthlings had so as to ensure she knew what was available. "Well that answer is a bit complicated, just like laws and taboos, but it's much more easily answered. The first thing you need to know is that Humans like myself aren't the only inhabitants on Earth, there are two types of Earthlings, Human-Type Earthlings, and Animal-Type Earthlings. Human-Type Earthlings are beings like myself, as I just mentioned, and Animal-Type Earthlings are distant relatives of us Human-Type Earthlings that look more like animals you'd see on Earth. Dogs, cats, bunnies, dinosaurs and reptiles, just with more humanoid features than the actual animals you'd find here on Earth. Human-Type Earthlings are omnivores, so we can eat fish, meat, vegetables, fruit, eggs and dairy products, we can eat any kind of edible substance and survive. Some of us are purely carnivorous in diets, some are vegans or vegetarians, some eat both, and there's even a rare Human culture here and there also consume insects as part of their diet. Animal-Type Earthlings, on the other hand, tend to range from being pure carnivores and herbivores, to omnivores like us Human-Types, it depends on the species. As a result of this, we have all ranges of food available for purchase" Yurin said, doing her best to condense the complicated dietary habits of Earthlings to such a brief manner for Usatei to understand. When Usatei suggested that Yurin show her where to get food first, the green-haired witch nodded her head and waved her hand to signal to the Lunarian to follow her. She was about to take off and fly, when Usatei asked her a question about the price of human meals, and Yurin frowned to herself as she thought about how one would answer. Truthfully, aside from market share prices, the price range for Earthling food could vary as widely as their cultures and dietary habits. "In all honesty, it depends on the food. We have cheap stuff, ranging from healthy foods to outright junk food, more middle of the road food that's of average quality, and then we have expensive food for high-society rich people. The prices all depend on the quality of the food, as well what type of food a person is looking to buy" she explained to Usatei, letting her know she was ready to leave just as soon as the Lunarian let her know that she was ready to go. The question was answered with an 'I don't know' statement from Yurin, well the tip was that she just kept going and going until she found herself to the large city, then she would be at her destination. Though the nervous manner made her tilt her head a bit, she wasn't sure why she was nervous was there something embarassing she did or said? Well, Earth is a new place her body language probably set off some alarm that made the woman nervous, if it happened again she'd ask the woman about it, this matter could be bothering her. Now a question of hers was being answered, she even gave an explanation on what else was here, there was an assortment of animals it seemed and humans, with these animals being human like. She was painting an image of diversity in her head, that might become useful for something else later! Though it seems that this diversity had made a difference in diet which might be a bad thing but generally these people should like the same basic ingredients. Usatei thought to herself on what there might be on Earth, and of course, another question of hers was answered. There was an assortment of prices on food as well, probably due to the diversity this planet had as well, it was clear that there was a social structure here which was vastly different from her own on the moon, but what could it be? They couldn't be just rich and poor like the old days of the Lunarians, they had to be something like theirs, since they use money in the sense that it isn't as valuable as some might think on the moon, there must have been an abundance on monetary value there! Also, she could get something cheap to eat. "I've heard that you used to use precious metals as a currency before switching to paper money! Does that mean there is some places that will accept gold or silver? If they can that's great! I don't have a way to pay for my food at the moment...Ehehe." she laughed awkwardly as well, as she realized, even if there was food, she couldn't pay for it since there was a lack of money on her other than the 50 or so gold coins she had in her pockets, that could buy her a meal for 3 on the moon at the least. She was already ready to go, as she had then flew with Yurin, she did like flying it was something she learned before she entered this world when she got her newfound power! It still bothered her however, how did this power get into her body? Was there something in her that broke and released all this power inside of her? She couldn't put a finger on it. If there was some clue to her strength, she could teach her own friends and they could become as strong as they wanted! Optimism was showing on her face as she flew towards wherever there was food. As they were flying she asked more questions, leaving Yurin without awkward silences as they flew. "What about the map I have? Is there places that sell full scale maps of Earth? And for how much? she asked all these questions to spare time while they flew, plus the woman had a nice voice, it was quite pleasant to listen to! Though that was platonic, now that she thought about it, the woman was pretty vague on her own. She didn't have anything about her that she could infer on who she might be, what her occupation is, etc. "Hey Miss...Yurin. You never did really tell me about yourself! How was your experience here? Maybe I can get some insight on how I might be if you tell me something about yourself and your relations with other people!" In her head that sounded fine but in retrospect, that sounded pretty odd. She probably should have just went with 'Oh tell me about yourself!' so she didn't sound too intruding. "I'll tell you a bit about myself as well. I'm from the moon, and I came here to see how Earthlings were!" she said truthfully and without any sense of pride or hostile intent. WC: 709 TWC: 2678 |

Yurin raised an eyebrow at the question if there were places that would accept precious metals as currency instead of paper money. She cupped a chin in thought for a moment, thinking that it was a very good question. While she was sure there had to be establishments, the likelihood of them accepting it wasn't very high since of the whole exchange rate that went into turning said metals in. If the girl couldn't really pay for anything, since she lacked the proper currency, Yurin could always forward the bill for now, making sure to direct her to a bank later. "I'm sure there's at least a couple places that will. You more than likely could convince some of the establishments to accept precious metals, but it's more convenient to use paper money. When we're done with whatever it is you need to get done, remind me to direct you to a bank so you can turn those metals in for Zeni. It would be wrong of me to let you wander without Zeni, and wind up getting ripped off by the less-than-morally right establishments" Yurin said to Usatei from over her shoulder in response to her question about using precious metals as currency. When Usatei asked her if there were any places that sold whole maps of the Earth, the green-haired witch cocked an eyebrow in thought for a moment. She knew of a number of places that the Lunarian could stop by and pick up a map for a very cheap price, considering how rarely people needed one. Usatei clearly needed one, so she figured on their way to West City, she could show her to a general store or something that would give her a map for a cheap price. It was one of the many things she figured she would need to help the bunny-eared girl with. "There's a couple general stores and bookstores in West City that should have maps of the whole world for purchase. We can either go to the bank first and turn your precious metals into paper currency, or if you like, I can lead you to each destination and forward the bill for whatever you're going to buy. If you decide to do the latter, just make sure to not go overboard with your spending and leave me broke" she shouted out over to Usatei, doing her best to get her to hear her over the roaring winds. Usatei asked her what her experience on Earth was like, and Yurin was forced to think about that for a moment. In all honesty, she didn't have much to talk about in regards to her experiences on Earth, since she spent most of her life secluded and isolated from modern society. First with the Crane School, then during her obsessive studying of witchcraft, and then finally in Tien's dojo. She didn't have much to say about her past, since it was mainly very boring, at least if one ignored the studying and training she's done over the years. "I spent most of my life in seclusion, away from heavily populated areas and in more rural places. I was almost always alone, as I wasn't much of a sociable person, and more into the idea of being isolated from people so I could focus on honing my many skills. My life is rather boring, to be honest with you. There's not a whole lot to tell you about" she said to Usatei, shrugging her shoulders as the Lunarian offered up a quick introduction about herself. Yurin stored the information away in the event she needed it again, and quickly introduced herself. "Hello Usatei, my name is Yurin. I seek to become the perfect fighter, or at least as close to perfect as one can get. I seek to round out my arsenal of moves so that I'm able to approach any problem in a fight with every solution imaginable" she said to Usatei, introducing herself and giving away what she liked to do, just like the Lunarian had done with her. She felt it was only fair she info about herself away. WC: 685 TWC: 2,904 |
