DRAGON: Brown Chairoth (Color Code: C2B280)
*DRAGON AGE: 31 Turns
*DRAGON APPEARANCE: Chairoth is long and thin, with lean limbs and small paws. The brown has an almost serpentine look about him. The brown is roughly 35 feet in length, with a wingspan of 52 feet. Chairoth is a fallow brown color, with forelegs that darkens to a seal brown, and a tail that fades into ecru. Across his wingspan are old Thread scars, while his neck and tail have some charred scarring from weyrling flames.
*DRAGON'S BASIC PERSONALITY: Chairoth attaches himself to others easily, befriending all colors of dragon, and especially enjoys the company of weyrbrats and candidates.

APPEARANCE: T'iron is tall, standing at a rough 5'11", with a lean, bony frame. He has greying, caramel-colored brown hair that grows in waves if allowed to lengthen, and dark brown, almond shaped eyes where creases are beginning to form. His nose is pointed and larger than attractive, his small ears are set distinctly on his head, and his chin is pointed without cleft. T'iron's limbs are long and lean, and his hands own lengthy fingers with distinct joints. He has a small freckling smatter across his shoulder blades.
EDUCATION/SKILLS: T'iron can read and write, through tutelage under the Weyr's former harper. Arithmetically, his skills are only elementary.

PERSONALITY: T'iron has grown into a confident, capable dragonrider, and while he still maintains some concern for his weyrmate and children, he understands that the Weyr will always need to take priority over his own wants and wishes.

In weyrbrats and weyrlings, he sees his own youthful stupidity, and cannot abide by acts of reckless behavior or those unable to handle a crisis.
He has a keen interest in the livelihood of the Weyr's draconic population, and understands his placement in the position for his heavy hand when dealing with the role of mediator.
T'iron is almost constantly butting heads with Chairoth, and though bonded for life with the dragon, rarely sees eye to eye with him.
*FAULTS: Short-tempered with accidents.
*STRENGTHS: Capable as a mediator, loyal to his wing and loved ones.
*FEARS: Primarily, losing his weyrmate to illness.
*ASPIRATIONS: To see his children make lives for themselves.

*HISTORY: Teiron was born the son of the late Headwoman Teia, and the brown rider R'nel. Much of his youth was spent in between being in his mother's way in the lower caverns, and later being in his brother's way during weyrling training. He Impressed Chairoth at the tender age of twelve, and made fast friends with a young woman from the same weyrling class. Over the Turns, he'd slowly felt a wave of differing emotions for her, but could never fully vocalize them. When a plague struck the Snowy Wastes' region, T'iron had a chance to shine, and failed. He crumbled inwardly, and because of it, did not have the confidence a dragonrider should normally have. When the Weyrwoman sent the healthy out to other Weyrs so as not to risk the deaths of even more, T'iron found himself paired with Alysha. As the two bonded more and more, T'iron's brown Chairoth nearly cost the young man all he'd worked for - the brown had attempted to fly a young green mere months after the two had joined Muzui's ranks.

Caught between frustration and desire, all he remembers of the chase is that he was alone with his beloved friend, and brown neared green. Chairoth swears he didn't fly the silly creature, but T'iron is unsure of how he himself acted.
The relationship only altered more when Alysha's golden Talenth rose for the first time, and was caught in an aerial fight with the Weyrqueen of Muzui. The queen Okaneth lost her life, and Talenth very nearly followed suit. For many months, T'iron and Chairoth were kept away from their dear friends as Talenth recovered and Alysha usurped the title of Weyrwoman. Eventually, they saw nothing of eachother, and T'iron took in the gossip that Alysha was in the market for one of Muzui's bronzes. T'iron and Chairoth left for their former home without giving word to the golden pair, their pride and hearts both wounded.

Once home again in the comforting cold of Equinox, T'iron adjusted to loneliness; his brother B'rien had taken up the mantle of Weyrleader, and had little time for the prodigal brown rider. Many of his friends and family had either moved on or passed on, and T'iron regretted his transfer home. He'd begun preparations for a return to Muzui when Alysha and Talenth reappeared. She never gave him the details of her reasons for leaving; just that things had become heated after her ascension.
With the influx of riders from the ravished Killarney and Neile, T'iron found himself another face in a sea of many, and though his relationship with Alysha had repaired itself, the brown rider wass still hesitant at times to continue deeper.

Shortly after the birth of his children, T'iron was offered the role as wingsecond, under D'mitri. Over the Turns, however, the brown rider found himself more and more fond of the idea of teaching. He began assisting the weyrlingmaster of the time, and resigned from his position as the middle wingsecond. When the weyrlingmaster eventually retired, T'iron was a shoe-in for the job. However, when Ista required the assistance of the Weyr, T'iron and Chairoth heeded the call. T'iron lost his leg in what became known as the Second Threadstorm, and Chairoth received damage to his wings that hampered the brown from a full flight ever again. When the pair finally returned to teaching future riders, it was with a heavy dose of fellis and a heavier heart.
