Agent: Staff members who write matches. Agent staff do not have moderating duties. More generally, the writer of any match might be referred to as that match's agent.

Americana: Ignition Pro Wrestling's premier Supercard event, held annually in July.

Angle: A non-wrestling segment in an event.

Blank Check: Awarded annually to the winner of the Blind Justice Gauntlet, the Blank Check can be cashed in for a shot at any title. See Blank Check guidelines for rules on cashing in the opportunity.

Blind Justice: An annual supercard featuring a gauntlet battle royal.

Booker: Staff members who schedule matches, write angles, and judge RPs. Bookers are also board moderators.

Cycle: The series of shows that lead from just after a Supercard and end with the following Supercard.

CWF: Championship Wrestling Federation, the organization founded by Anthony Romeri in 2007 that is the precursor to Ignition Wrestling. IPW's name is taken from CWF's main show, CWF Ignition.

Deadline: The time at which the opportunity to RP for a match expires.

Handler: A real person who creates and role plays for a character.

NPC: Non-player character, a staff-controlled character who does not have a human handler.

Producer: Any staff responsible for the overall look of the board, especially graphics specialists.

Program: A series of segments and matches that further a feud between workers. A storyline.

Red Dawn: Ignition Wrestling's annual New Year supercard, featuring Hall of Fame inductions.

Supercard : A major event, like a Pay-Per-View, featuring major matchups, including most title matches.

Worker: A character created by a handler.
