Fiona's heart was racing by now. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Then when she felt calm enough the rain fell faster. She had to stay calm and be brave for everyone.

Sam tried to sneak up behind the Dragon Bane. She spun around suddenly and sent a flame straight for his chest. He fell to the pavement, the fire burning on his chest like a candle.

Angelica took a momentary glance at Fiona and Sam, and then Dragon Bane. She grinned breifly.

Lauren stood in the back of the group, her eyes wide and her arms limp at her side. She gasped for breath, staring at her dying boyfriend. "No....No....No...." She whispered, tears pouring from her eyes. She turned to the Dragon Bane. "NO!" she screamed at the top of her lunges.

And she launched herself toward her.

Dragon Bane didn't even notice how she had killed a V-Squad member.
She focused her attention on a raging Lauren, whose battle cry was so loud....
She felt as if her eardrums would bust. Dragon Bane closed her eyes tight and held her hands in front of her.
Lauren paused to take a breath, the waves ceasing. She opened her mouth again and--
"OOFF!" she screamed as she was thrown back into the brick wall behind her, blood instantly being wiped off onto the blocks.
Lauren fell to the ground, lifeless.

Fiona got up and walked to Dragon Bane.
"How dare you judge us? You are no better than the worst of us! Two people have died at your hands. I hope you are happy." Fiona said to her. There was a mixture of anger and upset in her voice. Tears were threatening to fall from her eyes,

The Dragon Bane backed away, staring at the lifeless bodies of two people. "I didn't do it on purpose...."

"I don't care!" Fiona snapped.
"Excuses won't bring them back!" Fiona yelled. As everyone knew Fiona was deadliest when angry or upset.

She was confused before, but now she was angry at the hypocrite. "Excuses, Fiona? Excuses? Excuses won't bring back the millions who died at your hands, and still do. You think the world owes you something. No, excuses won't bring back the dead, rotting corpses." She stepped forward to the girl. "Don't count me among your kind, Fiona. I don't step outside and murder people. I don't make excuses for it, either. This, right here, is justice."

"I only did those things because my judgement was clouded because of people like you!" Fiona shouted at her and turned away.
"But I won't lower myself to your level, not today. Your not worth it." Fiona said with clench fists and walked back towards the ship.

"My LEVEL? How dare you count me as people like you. I am not low, Fiona. Your judgement was and is your own. You can't blame it on the people like ME who want to help people like THIS!" she motioned to an injured woman on the sidewalk, who had been hurt in the robbery before the V-Squad arrived. "You have to excuse to do this, Fiona. YOU are not worth it."

Fiona had stopped listening to Dragon Bane now. She was using all her energy not to go over to Jane and simply rip her head off. she returned to the ship without another word.

Dragon Bane sent another flame in Angelica's direction, which she dodged. She and Yoko jumped into the ship. It took off, leaving Dragon Bane alone at the scene with two bodies. She could've pursued, but then what would be the point?

Ambulances soon came to dispose of the bodies. Dragon Bane quietly left.
