"I don't know! Maybe I thought someone deep in you you actually care! Guess I was wrong! Maybe you need to learn a lesson in loving someone! Choose. Your obsession for her, or me." Fiona replied arms crossed face impassive.

Angelica stood there, shocked.
"What? Chose? Chose over what I've been striving for for years, or you?" She didn't mean to make it sound like Fiona was dirt, but she said the words wrong.

"Choose. Her or me." Fiona replied simply.

Angelica tried to speak but stuttered on nothing instead.

Fiona let a tear fall and gave her head a shake.
"That's all I needed to know. I'll get my things and be gone by morning." Fiona said quietly.

Fiona turned and climbed on a cloud and flew back to base to collect her things.

Angelica stopped breathing.
"Back to the base," she told the others.
They obeyed.
Jane fell to her knees, exhausted.

Fiona obviously was first to return. She went to her room trying so hard not to cry.

They raced back home in the ship.

Angelica ran inside, not saying a thing to the others.

Fiona laid on her bed. Head buried in the pillow. She had lost the battle not to cry. She had decided she would leave in a few hours when everyone was in bed. It would save her having to say goodbye.

Angelica hesitated outside her door. "Fiona?" she asked.

Fiona looked to the door making no effort to move any more.
"Haven't you done enough damage?" Fiona asked.

"I just want to talk. You don't have to leave."

Fiona considered standing to open the door and thought against it.
"What's there left to talk about?" Fiona asked.

"You need yo learn Angelica, that there are certain emotions you shouldn't play with. You don't know what it's like to be alone. If you really loved me, me leaving is the only way I can get you to see how it really feels." Fiona said.

"You know nothing about what I have felt! You think you are the only one to have been trampled on in your life? It happens. We all get treated like shit. Get over it!" Angelica stormed away, furious at everyone and everything.

Fiona frowned and stood up. All the more determined now to leave. The sooner the better.

The next morning, Angelica was calmer. She got up early and went to Fiona's door and hesitantly knocked. She had the intentions of apologizing for everything she had done, but not a single soul answered.

That day Angelica stayed in her room. She went through some stuff of Fiona's that had been left in there. The memories....

They had only been together for a month, but now it was all over. Because of her own stupid self. She tried to tell herself that it was okay, that Fiona was just another lover but not a love.

A week later, she was still sulking. She pretended to the others she wasn't upset or hurt. They never spoke to her about Fiona, and she herself mentioned nothing.

((can it be a week later?))
