((I suppose. It would have been easier for a couple of months, but a week should be fine.)) Fiona had gotten herself a small apartment deep down town. It was expensive but had come with all it's furniture and money was no problem, she wasn't going to stay much longer in the city. She was only here until she figured out where she was going to go. The apartment was small and modest, but it was clean and tidy and had everything Fiona needed. Including a rather good sized bathroom and two fairly decent sized bedrooms. One for her, one for her things which she hadn't bothered unpacking. She hadn't slept much since she'd left Angelica. Mainly her angry tears stopped her from sleeping. But what little she did was plagued with nightmares. |

((a couple of months would have angelica showing and it would interfere with later rpgs)) Angelica barely slept, either. She was always out on the run to keep herself having something to do. She rarely went out with the team anymore and refused to speak to them. She kept completely to herself. Fiona's room was stripped bare. It now looked the exact same way it had been before she arrived in Gotham. There was no other sign in the base that she had even been there or existed. It was like the love between Angelica and her had been a dream. Angelica was never one to dream--her thoughts when sleeping were always nightmares of her past. It was either about that man, or her parents, or her mentor. But now her dreams were of a different kind of love and loss. A blond girl would dance about and sing. Now, who could that be? Only a week ago she had held a meeting with the V-Squad, knowing Fiona wouldn't want to participate. She told them her plan to make Fiona believe they were dead so she would be unfuriated enough to attack Jane. She was the only person who could match up to her when it came to power. What good did that do? Jane was still out there trying to bring the V-Squad down and Fiona was gone and hating Angelica. How could this happen? |

Fiona was busy getting ready to go out. She had become obsessed with Angelica's past since she'd left, wondering how hurt someone could be to pull such a cruel trick on someone whom they were suppose to love above anyone else. She spent most days in the library looking over newspaper articles and other pieces of information. Today was no expection. She set about dressing and left the house with her usual coloured contacts and hair tied up in a fancy bun atop her head. No-one usually looked at facial feature unless they really knew someone very well, these strangers knew of her but wouldn't pick her out of a crowd of over other blonde haired blue eyes people. (The contacts were blue.) She usually took a taxi to the library, hide in plain sight was what she concentrated on for the time being. |

There was a man who frequented the restaurant that Jane worked at. She asked around and learned he was a local comedian who wasn't terribly popular in town. She hated herself for this, but there was something about him that interested her. Was it his magnificent facial structure, his big smile? She had seen him for the first time the week before and knew nothing about him, but now she looked forward to working and seeing him again. Whenever she wasn't working and when Alex wasn't in school, they would go to the library. She was an avid reader and had trained her son to be so, too. Or tried. One day they were at the public library, a huge multiple-story building with shelves and books donated by different wealthy businessmen. Jane was in the how-to section checking out books on journalism. Alex standing beside her was becoming visibly impatient. "Can we go home now?" Jane sighed at him. "You're either at school or home all the time. Don't you want to get out and do something?" "This place is boring." "Go to the kids book section." Alex turned and left. |

Fiona was sat at a table reading a old newspaper report. She'd read it many times before but looked at it everytime, just to be sure she hadn't missed anything. she needed to know everything about Angelica. |

Alex was on his way to the childrens books, going down an elevator and a few floors to get to it, when another section caught his eye--the movie section. There were several shelves of VHS and DVDs. Those had to be cooler than some baby books. He looked through the shelves and found a DVD he wanted. He made his way back to the elevator and got in. Suddenly he couldn't remember which floor he was supposed to go back to! He went through different floors but didn't find anyone or anything that looked familiar. Jane wasn't there. He arrived on a magazine and newspaper and records floor and was about to give up and ask someone to help him. He was walking down the aisles of shelves and was going back to the elevator. Sitting at a table ahead of him was a young woman with blond hair pulled back in a tight bun. |

Fiona hid a frown. 'Great' She thought to herself sarcastically. And then smiled. "Would you like to come home with me? And I'll call your mother from there." Fiona offered. |

"Your home?" he asked, with the base in mind (which he imagined as a scary dungeon). "No thank you." |

Alex waited patiently. They left the library and got out to the street. "Can we go to McDonalds?" he asked. |
