Fiona stopped herself from showing any outward sign of anger.
"What about her?" Fiona asked as sweetly as she could.

"She...was hurt. Crying for help, but I didn't hear the name she said. I have a lot of nightmares, but nothing was as real as that one was!"

Fiona's eyes went wide with shock, but she recovered quickly, hoping Alex hadn't seen. A plan was forming in her head.
"It's alright sweetie, it's just a bad dream. I get them all the time also. It's alright, they can't hurt you." Fiona said.

"How so?" Fiona asked. She figured his mother would pass it off as a child's fantasy and not listen, she wanted to be different in every way to her.

Fiona gasped a little. She had a feeling Alex was special. In a similar way to herself. She realised he could see her in his dreams. And she also realised Angelica probably hadn't set it all up. But before her guilt showed and consummer her she'd need to double check it. She composed herself.
"Alex. You may need to do me a big big favour. But you won't like it." Fiona said.

A plan began forming in Fiona's head. She needed to double check the authenticity of Angelica's kidnapping and only one person could prove it. But to see him, she had to wait until nightfall. While Alex was sleeping.
"Where would you like to go today?" Fiona asked.

He shrugged, not feeling so happy today as he was yesterday.
