Fiona handed his the bottle of Syrup and put the Pancakes in front of him. She sat down with a cup of tea. Her plan still running constant loops in her head. |

Jane almost got fired from her job at the restaurant after the incident in which she spilled a drink all over that mystery man named Jack. But they needed a waitress. Thankfully, she got to stay. She hoped she would never see Jack again. Even today, thinking of it made her feel sick. The police still looked for Alex. And Jane searched the streets day and night, sometimes even missing work. These last two days had been a nightmare. And on top of that, Angelica was now missing! Great. Probably just a cry for attention, to make herself look like a victim to the city. But Jane wasn't concerned about that. The headaches got so bad that she often had to stop patrolling. It was wasting her time in finding Alex and that wretched blond! So she went to the doctor about it. They gave her some pills that would probably turn out to be useless, and she was on her way out of the hospital. She walked to the elevator and waited. It opened, and there stood Jack in the back. The man from the restaurant. Jane stared at him in horror. She considered walking away, but that would be even more embarrassing. So she stepped forward into the elevator and stood by him. The doors closed. She glanced at him from the corner of her eye and saw he was glancing at her. She looked away, blushing. She wondered what he was thinking. He probably couldn't wait to get out of there and away from her. And suddenly the elevator jerked to a stop, leaving Jack and Jane alone in the small space with no way to get out. They had to wait til someone came to repair the lift. |

That night Fiona was sat with Alex on the sofa watching a movie. He had fallen asleep on her lap. Perfect Fiona thought to herself. It was time to set her plan into action. In order to avoid waking Alex, she lifted him upon a cloud. She wrapped him in a blanket to stop him from getting cold and walked to the window. She stepped on the cloud at that point and flew through the window. "Time to pay someone a little visit." She muttered to herself. It wasn't long before she arrived at the house she needed. She went to the upper back window. Where she broke in. Leaving Alex sleeping upon the cloud outside. Now all she had to do was sit in the living room and wait. |

Images of Angelica weaved through his dreams. She was crying, crying for someone....And she was tied up, still wearing just black underwear like in the tape on the television. And then he understood the word, "Fiona!" * * * Commisioner James Gordon was often home late. Sometimes, he stayed out all night at the station. The price you pay when you enter the business of fighting crime. Police work. His children were fast asleep upstairs, and so was his wife. Gordon quietly unlocked the door, stepped inside, and locked it again behind him. He turned around. |

Fiona put her hand over his mouth. "With your family sleeping. And 'i have someone waiting outside I won't stay long and I swear I'm not here to hurt you. Just promise not to scream and answer me a question or two." Fiona whispered to him. |

Fiona felt tears well in her eyes. "Any leads?" Fiona asked. Her voice breaking. She was hit suddenly with guilt and worry. |

"We've tried to track the man down. He's the sneaky type." He folded his arms. "But every lead we've checked out has turned out to be empty. We're trying." Or, rather, HE was trying. It was hard to find a missing person when everyone else was unenthusiastic. Understandably, as she was a large source of the crime in the city. But still, a victim was a victim. |

Fiona nodded solemnly. "IF I told you, I think I have a far fetched way of finding her. Could I help?" Fiona asked. |

He raised an eyebrow. "I know who you are. You're Fiona, a member of the V-Squad. How can we trust you? Once we find Angelica, she'll be on her way to prison." |

"Because. I'm the best lead you've got right now. And I'll find her on my own if you won't help. That, And I'm no longer a member." Fiona replied. |

He seemed interested, but didn't press for any more information. "You're right," he admitted, sighing. "You're the best lead I have. No one else is trying to find her. What do you think you can do?" |
