Fiona climbed inside.
"And then, we gonna go straight in. Remember, this is someone one up from the bad guys. We have to have a plan, so no-one gets hurt." Fiona pointed out.

"That's going to be difficult if we take the kid along," Sam said, looking at Fiona as the ship's engine switched on. A soft hum could be heard, and the lights illuminated the cabin.

"I can't leave him alone. It's too dangerous out there." Fiona said. She knew it was dangerous for him to go, but it could be more dangerous for him to be at home alone. At that very moment in time, they weren't the scariest thing in the city.

They went out over the lake, a few miles out. Below, a boat could be seen out alone. It was a regular boat with a deck and cabin.

"She's here," Sam said. "The kid stays in here." He looked at Alex. "Don't touch anything. Understand?"

Alex nodded quickly.

"I'll be back has soon has I can, and then we can go check if your mum's home." Fiona reassured Alex.

"Okay," Alex said quietly.

Sam lowered the ship and pressed a button, which opened a door in the floor so he and Fiona could jump out. Alex watched carefully.

Fiona took one last look at Alex before jumping off.
"Make sure he's safe." Fiona said to Sam.

Sam nodded, and took a control out of his pocket. He pressed a button and the door shut and locked. He turned to Fiona. They were standing on the boat deck. "Do you want to sneak inside or force him out?"

"Inside. WE can guarantee that he's working alone and Angelica will be safe that way. A little torture might be in order." Fiona replied.

Sam nodded. "Agreed." He turned and walked slowly to the cabin door, which was slightly ajar.

Nothing could be heard from inside. But according to the tracker, Angelica was indeed here, and no doubt her captor as well.

"If we find the kidnapper first we take him. If we find Angelica first, one of us stays with her, the other get the kidnapper." Fiona said.

Sam nodded. "Got it," he whispered.
He stepped next to the door and slowly inched it further open. The hinges creaked and he paused abruptly.
No noise could be heard, not even the sudden shuffling footsteps of a criminal attempting escape.
Sam glanced at Fiona once again before leaning forward once more and pushing the door further back against the wall.
In there was a control area to steer the boat, some seats, not much else. No-one was there.
To the right near the entrance was a ladder extending into the floor, probably leading to the living area.

Fiona glanced at the ladder.
"Looks like there's only one place to go. Up." Fiona whispered.

"Down," he corrected.

"Same difference." Fiona whispered with a small smile.

"Sure, sure," he whispered back.

He stepped onto the ladder and slowly, silently, climbed down.

Fiona removed her shoes before climbing down. She didn't want her shoes to 'click' upon her descent.

Once down there, Sam moved out of the way for her to step down.

He examined his surroundings. They were in a small hall-way like area. To the right was a door to a bathroom, and next to that was a small kitchen area.

To his right was the ladder where Fiona was climbing down, and a few feet from that was another door, closed.

That was the only place Angelica could be, if she was here at all.

Fiona stepped down onto the floor and looked around.
"Do you get the feeling, it's too quiet?" Fiona asked.

Sam nodded. "I'm beginning to doubt that anyone is here at all. He may have left the tracker."

He slowly walked to the closed door and looked at Fiona.
