"What a coward. It's pathetic. Attempting to kill someone who can't fight back." Fiona almost spat, she was disgusted.

He tried to stand. "Bitch," he growled. "You'll pay for what you've done to everyone."

Fiona frowned, confused.
"And what have I, personally, done to 'everyone'? I believe that 'Everyone', is a slight exaggeration." Fiona said. She placed one foot on his back and pushed him back to the floor.
"Now, be a sport, and tell me what you drugged her with?" Fiona added.

He ignores her question, gritting his teeth in pain. "You're a monster just like she is. You won't kill anyone else!"

"I'll kill you if you don't answer me. Just another mindless killer wiped off the planet." Fiona said.

"Hypocritical bitch! I've never hurt a soul in my life. It's you everyone has to worry about, killing millions. The day you and your friend over here dies is the day the world is just a bit more safer."

Fiona ignored him. She pulled a length of material from her shirt and gagged his mouth.
"I'm bored now. Your not even worth killing. May has well leave you here. Give you a taste of your own medicine." Fiona said. She pulled her belt off and secured his hands.
"If your lucky, I may mercy kill you in a week or so, if I feel like it." Fiona said with a smile. She looked up at Sam.
"Knock him out." Fiona said.

He growled through the gag, struggling.

Sam stepped forward and pistol-whipped the guy.

The captor, now the captured, went unconscious.

"Put him somewhere, Anywhere, just get him out of my sight." Fiona said. She glanced at Angelica, she needed a moment alone with her, but wouldn't admit that to Sam.

Sam dragged the guy away to the hallway, then climbed up the ladder, somehow knowing what Fiona wanted.

Jane had gotten a call from a contact who informed her that there was suspicious lightning activity about a mile out from the docks. She raced towards there, knowing this was her chance to confront the girl who had taken all she ever loved.
She noticed something white in the darkness. It was no longer raining out here, and her only light was the light of the fireball in her hand. Something made her look up, and she gasped.
There was a metallic...something. A ship. It hovered there as if defying gravity. She went up and looked through the windows. She heard a voice from inside and spotted someone.
"Mom?!"
Alex was there. He ran to the window and touched where her hand was. She thought she was going to faint. She wanted to hug her son and never let him go, but they were separated by glass.
He ran to the control panel at the front of the ship and pushed a button, knowing what to do. A humming sound could be heard from the bottom. Jane flew to that and saw a rectangular hole there, a door in the floor. She flew up and into the ship.
Alex ran to her and hugged her, and he was in tears. He had been scared and alone. The lightning had frightened him. Now his mother was back. Finally.

Fiona walked up to Angelica and crouched in front of her. She gave a small smile and kissed Angelica on the lips. Once she'd had her fill she melted the chain on the handcuffs. She then stood and began walking from the room.

Angelica was now already conscious. She jumped as someone's lips touched hers.
She ripped off the blindfold and jump up, grabbing the crowbar off the floor.
"You...."
From her eyes, it looked like Fiona had come here because she was working with her captor. But she was also a bit disoriented from the pacifying drugs.

Fiona carried on walking. She'd already spent too long there. She couldn't let Angelica knowing it was her. She began returning to the dock has fast has she could.

Angelica grabbed her ankle as she descended up the ladder. "Fiona! What are you doing here?"

Fiona looked down at Angelica.
"I came to free you." She said looking away again. She was supposed to still be mad, but every second in her presence made her remember how much she still loved her.

It was coming into place now. Of course Fiona wouldn't have melted the cuffs if she were working with the captor; of course Fiona would never do that to her. Of course.

Angelica didn't let go. She didn't want Fiona to walk again.

"Why did you do that?" she asked.

"Sam asked me to help, And I must have lost my mind because I accepted." Fiona Lied, She couldn't look at her and couldn't admit the real reason. She has to remind herself she was still mad.

Angelica frowned, not believing it. "No, it was your idea....I know you better than I thought I did," she added, mainly to herself.

She looked back up to see Fiona again. It was too dark for her to see her face. "We go back home and talk, let me explain," she said, "And if you still want to leave after that...it will be your choice to make."

Fiona's hands gripped the ladder rung tighter has she thought the offer over.
"Your not going to let me refuse, are you?" Fiona asked.

Angelica shook her head. "At least, not until we talk." She sighed. "Fiona, I--" She paused, unsure of how to say the words or get them out. This was so unlike her. "We can't let this die. We went our entire lives without love, we can't give up that easily."
