"If we're done talking, I'm going to check for any messages from contacts, and I need to keep an eye on the news for any updates on the case," Sam said, pushing his chair back. |

Sam sat in the computer room, alone, watching all the news channel. Their biggest stories were of Angelica. |

That night, the Squad found out the authorities were taking Angelica to the Gotham Detention Center, a large building near the center of the city. The place had once been a prison, but now served the purpose of an execution center. She would not be getting a trial at all. Instead, she would be executed by the standard procedure, firing squad. Some people were already protesting, all for different reasons. Some people disliked the idea of skipping a trial, and said this was quickly becoming the end of the United States and its supposedly fair justice system. Some were even protesting the death penalty itself like they usually did. Other protesters did not care about the trial or her life, saying she deserved what she had coming and everyone knew she was guilty, so there was no reason to not go right through with her sentence--except the baby. These particular protesters argued putting Volkova to death while she was pregnant was like murdering someone (the baby) for crimes it did not commit. Some people, however, did not care at all. They wanted to go through with the execution, regardless of the life inside of her. They claimed their reasons were because the fetus was not born, therefore it was not yet a human life and only a part of Angelica's body as much as her legs or arms were. Hence the execution, in their opinion, should go through. The time was 6 PM now. Angelica had been taken to the building and locked up. In six hours, her death sentence would be carried out. Six hours for the Squad to prepare her rescue. They could not be too late, their timing had to be perfect. No one could recognize them as they would sneak into the compound and act as personnel. |

Fiona stood in front of the rest of the squad. "We have 6 hours. It's not a lot of time, but if we're good, we can do it. We need to be on the way in no later than three hours. Get your disguises, and information we need ready and memorised. And don't forget we can't let our guard down for a second or can we let our feelings get in our way. Professionalism is a must. And please, remember to use fake bullets." Fiona said. She knew everyone knew this already, but it made herself feel better saying out loud. |

"Got it," Sam said. Lauren gave her a smile meant to be reassuring. "Don't worry, Fiona, nothing will go wrong. We'll rescue Angelica." Lauren was worried for her friend also, but hid it well. |

Fiona nodded. "Try not to take too much time. If you can't find them we'll just have to steal a map." Fiona said. |
