Angelica rolled her eyes. In that moment, they seemed like a normal, average couple with a child, disagreeing over spending costs.

Fiona giggled.
"Although, I never found spending money that much of a problem either." She added.

Fiona simply nodded. She didn't like talking about the details much.
"Although, these days, my money is kept safe for when Scarlett grows."

Jason nodded, understanding. His own son would have everything.

The banter between team mates carried on until Fiona announced it was Scarlett's nap time. Scarlett of course protested but didn't put up much of a fight after promise of ice cream with Jason when she awoke.

A week later it was early evening. Fiona stood at the rendezvous point with Angelica. It had took a week but they were finally to recieve the chemicals they needed. They were waiting for a gang of suppliers whom they were to bargin with.

The guys arrived in a supply truck. Every week, essential supplies would come in (such as food). This company not only hooked them up with the basics, but also hired their guys to go out on jobs for stolen, rare things that criminals like the V-Squad would need.

The V-Squad had requested the chemicals and the company had supplied it. Angelica knew now that she should've done this in the first place, instead of hiring three incompetent thugs. She had thought they would be stealthy. But it turned out that two of them were killed at the scene and the third escaped the police after being injured.

This particular supply company would arrive every week on a certain day in the after noon. But today they were coming unscheduled, later than usual. They had what Angelica wanted .

She watched as the truck drove into the supply hangar and stopped. Several guys in blue, average uniforms stepped out.

One of them stepped forward. "We have what you ordered."

"Show me," Angelica said coolly.

He led them to the back of the truck. Another guy opened the back. He turned to look at them. He was familiar, but he looked different this time. There was something entirely different to his demeanor, showing no fear or uncertainty whatsoever. And most noticeable of all was a jagged scar that stretched across his face like a smile.

Fiona regurded the delivery guys with the same reguard she gave most outsiders. She gave them a once over but other than that paid them no mind. She climbed onto the truck. 2 guards stood at the van doors so they couldn't be shut suddenly and she smiled.
"Looks alright to me." She said to Angelica.

Angelica could see a canister--part of it transparent, showing the golden-colored chemicals inside. She nodded.

She looked at the other men. "You get ten thousand."

"I believe you'll find the contract says, fifteen thousand." One of the men said. He was holding a clipboard with paper on it. Presumable the 'contract'.

Fiona stepped out of the truck. One of the guard took her hand and help her down. She gave a small smile and a thanks but remained where she was once on the ground.

Angelica looked at him coolly. "The contract also said that the deal may be kept open for bargaining."

While Angelica was distracted, the man with the scar was watching Fiona. He walked up and closed the back door.

"This is twenty grands worth of work at least. Fifteen grand is actually a bargin. But I suppose we could lower it to fourteen thousand. But that's the best I can do."

Fiona glanced at the man closing the doors behind her but then continued to ignore him.

He walked up, grinning. "I must be dancing with the devil, because you're hot as hell."

Fiona turned to him. Glaring.
"Excuse me?" She asked. Clearly she was 'thrilled.'

Not noticing what the scarred man had said, Angelica continued arguing with the other guy. "Fourteen thousand?! Outrageous...." She bargained on.

The scarred man was unfazed by that glare. If anything, he was even more excited by it. "Do you have a map, miss? I'm getting lost in your eyes."

"Thirteen and a half then. But you won't get a better offer elsewhere."

Fiona continued to glare at the man.
"I'm going to give you one opporuntiy to walk away, or your going to be wishing you never laid your sleezy eyes on me." Fiona whispered Dangerously.

"Thirteen thousand, five hundred. And not a cent more!" Angelica snapped.

The scarred man laughed. It was terrifying, high-pitched. "A feisty one! I like that in a woman."

Angelica turned. "Silence," she snapped at him.

He grinned and held out his hand.
"Deal."

Fiona gave the creepy guy one last glare and sent a lightening bolt between them both. She then walked to up to Angelica and took her arm still glaring at him. She didn't show it but she was slightly unnerved.

A guard took the spot where Fiona had just been stood and bore down upon the scarred man.

Ignoring his hand, Angelica took out her mini-computer, which looked like a phone. She pushed a few buttons. The sum was now transferred to the company the man had worked for. "Transaction completed," she said. She motioned to one of the guards. They opened the truck again and took out the canister.

Meanwhile, the scarred man simply grinned up at the guard glaring at him. He walked to stand next to the other guys.

The main guy grinned.
"Pleasure doing bussiness with ya." He said and motioned to the others to get in the van.

Fiona refuesed to take her eyes off the sleezey guy.
