I thought he was ok in SW1 although his Musou and Charge attacks were horrible. At least he had great S string. In SW2, however, KOEI improved him a lot. Now his Musou is one of the best attacks in game and his Charge attacks are stronger. But I do wish his moveset type would be Special and not Charge. His current Special attacks are not effective and the Charge attacks he has are not good enough for Charge character.

I like his musket too but IMO he should use it only for shooting. KOEI should do like Capcom did: Give him a knife as secondary weapon which he could use for his S string.
