My admiration for Koei games was developed by the history behind the characters and the chaotic battles which provides lots of peons to slaughter, though it gets repetitive, you at least have the choice to just breeze through rushing to complete your objectives or you can take baby steps slowly carving your way to peace. That and there's plenty of characters to choose from, rather than having just four to five eventually one can grow tired of the same five characters all the time even if they're favored above the others.
