I mean, the music by itself is really well composed and sounds great, but I always expect something a little different from Koei soundtracks. For example, Dynasty Warriors has its own 'dynasty rock' kinda genre, Samurai Warriors has its own 'feudal trance' kinda genre... so I was kinda hoping that Bladestorm would have an awesome old European flavour combined with a modernised genre too, or something along those lines. Instead, it's just kinda generic fantasy game music, the kind of stuff you hear all over other fantasy games like Oblivion... it's good music, just not a unique interesting genre I hoped for! Hmm Bladestorm sounds very different and outstanding. You really need to listen to it when you played the game, all those 12 tracks there are not enough (as they're the tracks for the opening, tavern, history and etc), there are more hot music that fixed battle and it's very awesome. We'll have the interview with the composer in this few days so check the site update.
