INTRODUCTION![]() “Do not bar the gates. Have you never heard of my exploit at Dangyang, when I laughed at Cao Cao’s many legions? Now that I have an army at my back and generals to help, what is there to fear?” — Zhao Yun ((NOTE:The above exploit is totally fake. ehehe.)) Directory: The first post has been edited by KauSu and I. Mostly because it was way out of due and several things needed addressing. Poll(s) were also removed. If anything else needs to be added, or you'd like in to be helpful let me know anyhow. Welcome, and enjoy your time here in the Romance of the three kingdoms general statistics discussion. Statistics: Stat functions of Romance of The Three Kingdoms (As of XI). Many have wondered, while looking at these stats "What are these stats for, just cool points?" No, they're not. They mainly serve on how your officer(s) perform adequately. This is also the main discussion, on what said characters need stat changes. Regarding favortism, history, general reasons. Or just discussion on given stats throughout the Romance of the three Kingdoms Series. So below, you'll find an explanation of every stat. LDR: Leadership. LDR's effect in domestic affairs is that it increases the officer's effectivity in inspecting your city. While in units, the unit's defensive capabilities is determined by the officer (and lieutenant's) LDR stat. WAR: War ability. WAR's effect is always connected to battle. It effects the drills of the soldiers, to increase their will. It also sets the attack power of your unit. Also, in personal duels (Combat duels, or duels to persuade someone to join you) the attack of your officer increases. INT: Intelligence, or Intellect. INT is pretty obvious, this stat determines how accurate your strategist is when advising you, also, it effects the making of weapons. And is used in ploys like rumoring other cities, the higher it is, the higher is the chance of succeeding. Also in units, INT gives you a higher chance of succeeding with a strategy, like say, perturb. While it also raises your chance of resisting other units' strategies. Also, INT effects debates, a duel of Intellectuals. POL: Political ability. POL effects domestic matters, like searching and building (Civil and Military facilities). And is used in diplomacy, an officer with high POL will have a higher chance of succeeding in a task like Ceasefire, than an officer with mediocre POL. CHR: Charisma. This ability determines your officer's persuasive and attractive capabilities, you attract more soldiers when recruiting with a higher CHR officer. And persuasively, you can get officers to join you, you can (When combined with INT and high rank) persuade other forces to surrender. ![]() Officer Template: To start off this is not necessary. It's just come to my attention that we don't have one. Maybe using one can makes things more neater and organized. You are more then welcomed to use your own. Here is our discussed version: [Name: Name of the officer.][StatVer: Stat version. Original or new.][Release: Game title.] [Reason: Provide a valid reason.] LDR: WAR: INT: POL: CHR: APT: Skill: Example: Yang Song [New stats] ROTKXI LDR: 100 WAR: 150 (hax0r, lol.) INT: 100 POL: 100 CHR: 100 APT: Spears A Pikes S Bows B Cavalry S Weaponry B Navy C Skill: Cavalry General Reason: Yang Song was the true hero of the three kingdoms. With his given stats he clearer was not given any liking. (Something to these effects. Or even forms of ranting.) Feel free to debate, discuss anything stat related, participate in the Q&A related stat stuff. Or whatever. CONCLUSION
