I just used the name Hideyoshi because that's the name most people are familiar with. I doubt it too. It was just one of those stories people came up with for his past because nobody knew where he came from. The idea was mostly derived from the fact that he invaded China and the story goes that he wanted revenge on the country for making him an exile... Rather far-fetched if you ask me.
