Well, in Japanese, 'Shin' can mean 'True' or 'Better'. Shin Orochi is probably just the fully reawakened Orochi after he is awakened at the end of the game. I haven't played the game yet, don't care for spoilers, and can't read Japanese anyways, so all this is is just an educated guess XD So yea, Shin Orochi is not another Orochi, he is simply the more powerful form, akin to the relationship between Gouki and Shin Gouki in Street Fighter.
