Posts: 874 Group: Members Member #12,760 Joined: January 20, 2008 Gender Male	(I looked through all the pages in this section of the forum like, 4 times and I couldn't believe that this game doesn't have a discussion thread. So, since DW4 is my all time favorite DW game, I felt it was my duty to start a discussion on it.) Dynasty Warriors 4 kicks major tail. It's the first DW game I bought, and as of right now, it still beats out DW5 & DW6 in most catagories. The maps are the best, the music is the best, and many more things that I can't think of off the top of my head. The only negative I gather from this game is the lock-on swinging. You are left open for attack when you can't change your swinging direction. That's really the only con that comes up in my mind. Weapon upgrading could be hectic and while I prefer weapon boxes, this was a refreshing add-on to the franchise that I don't necessarily want back, but am glad we've had. It's one of those "I'm glad we had it, but I don't want it to come back" type things. Kingdom Musou Modes were actually pretty cool in the game. I prefer individual modes, but this was another refreshing step and it was fun. It also falls under the "I'm glad we had it, but I don't want it to come back" catagory. Another, not as big, positive thing comes from this game. Some of the characters' costumes were better in this one than they were in DW2, DW3, & DW5 (I don't include DW6). Zhou Tai, Xiahou Dun, Xu Huang, Zhang He, Sun Ce, Lu Xun, Da Qiao, Zhang Jiao, Lu Bu, Meng Huo, Zhu Rong, Huang Zhong, Huang Gai, & Wei Yan all have their best costumes in DW4 (Again, not including DW6). Not to mention, you fight against the Yellow Turbans 4 times! (Menace, Fortress, Rebellion, & Eliminate Zhang Jiao!) That was insane fun being able to fight them that many times. And you could play as them even more. I freakin' love it.
