So what is Guitar Warriors?[/size] It is a game patch for Guitar Hero: Rock The 80's that will replace game images, menu screens and all the songs with Dynasty Warriors content! [size=7]2. So what do I need in order to play Guitar Warriors?[/size] > A computer with a dvd burner > A properly modded PS2 that can play burned DVD's or Swap Magic http://www.swapmagic3.com/ > Nero or some other ISO Burning Software [size=7]3. What game system will this be for?[/size] This will be for PS2 only. It is the easiest system to mod and most people have one. [size=7]4. Okay, so what songs will be playable in Guitar Warriors?[/size] This is the songlist so far: Songs in playlist and tier placements are subject to change So this is how the final list shall be arranged at this time: Finalizer May 12 2008, 01:20 PM Finally, I've looked over the setlist, and personally I like it like this: 1. Wage War Arena Smileless Sacred Ground The Elegy of the Battle Men of Intelligence 2. Aural Assault Killing Time In Full Bloom Ultimate Pressure Dark Angel Struggle For Existence 3. Shu Shredders Opening Theme Look Back on Your Way Dance Macabre Avenging Battle Theme of Lu Bu Fire Mix 4. Riffs of Wu Parade of Death Eve The Verge of Despair Straight Ahead Slash the Demon 5. Axe of Wei Fireball Limit of Ability Superior Irritation Bloodshed to Repeat 6. True Musou The Most Dangerous Way Here We Go! My Bad Fellow Oriental Rush Magnificent Show Thoughts: -Move "The Elegy of the Battle" down to 1st tier because there's nothing particuarly hard about it, maybe the chords, but that's it. -Put "Struggle For Existence" in 2nd tier, possibly as encore (Either Struggle for Existence or Dark Angel make a good encore, both are pretty epic) -Put "Fireball" back in the 5th tier; Fireball is essentially a faster Eve with a solo, so having both songs in the same tier makes no sense -Put "Straight Ahead" in the 4th tier; HO/POs are consistent and slow, song isn't particuarly hard for 5th tier -Swapped "Bloodshed to Repeat" with "Superior" as 5th tier encore; Superior is too short to be an encore, and the main riff & solo in Bloodshed are almost 6th tier material. (I'd almost consider swapping Oriental Rush with Bloodshed to Repeat, but Oriental has a nice level of difficulty throughout the entire song that Bloodshed lacks) -Still not sure what the final encore will be, either "My Bad Fellow" or "Magnificent Fellow". "The Most Dangerous Way" & "Here We Go!" are too short, "Oriental Rush" lacks difficulty in solo, "Magnificent Show" is the likely candidate. Songs in playlist and tier placements are subject to change [size=7]5. I'm not exactly an expert at Guitar Hero. Will this be available on all difficulties?[/size] If you look you will see that each song in the songlist has parentheses that say (EMHX Co-op). E stands for easy, M for medium, H for hard, and E for expert. If the letter is red, that means that that difficulty hasn't been made yet. If it is blue it is done. So, in short, I plan to have all difficulties available in the download. All will be able to enjoy, no matter what skill level. Plus, all songs will have Co-op so you can play with a friend. When will this be made available?[/size] NOW!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to reach out to the Dynasty Warriors community and would like to know what you would like to see in a Dynasty Warriors based Guitar Hero. And Please ask questions. There is alot you need to know to properly modify Guitar Hero.
