They're always effective when I use them and they cause major damage to the enemy. Yes I agree, especially if done in a combo. All Attack has to be the most strongest tactic in the game, when you at least use it from four sides it can be continued for more tactics depending on you're remaining. Pincer, another good tactic, I'm pretty sure it comes most useful in the first game, it will confuse the enemy allowing you to take advantage of them.
