Maybe we should wait for words from BanNam instead. But I say you should get the JP version while it's still available. It is import friendly since the menus are in English, and the only translation guide you'll perhaps need is regarding the skills. Besides, in the JP version, the original Gundam themes are available, while in the US version I can't guarantee it because they might do it like in the PS3 version, where all of the original themes are removed...
