Some inter-time rivalries are apparent and appear at one point or another (Lu Bu-Tadakatsu, Cao Cao-Nobunaga), others are something we call camaraderies (Zhao Yun-Yukimura, SSX-Ina, Cao Pi-Mitsunari, Ma Chao-Nagamasa-Kanetsugu), and then there are those that may or may not count as rivalries just because they have similar personalities and characteristics (Hanzo-Wei Yan/Zhou Tai, Zhen Ji-No, Diao Chan-Okuni, Meng Huo-Goemon, Zhuge Liang/Sima Yi-Shingen, Zhang Fei-Tadakatsu). The major problem in pinpointing WO rivalries is the fact that the pre-existing DW & SW rivalries are still there (Guan Yu-Xiahou Dun/Zhang Liao/Xu Huang/Lu Meng, Shingen/Kenshin, Ma Chao/Cao Cao/Pang De, Zhuge Liang/Sima Yi/Zhoy Yu/Lu Xun, Musashi/Kojiro), and there are some instances in the WO canon where those rivalries are still apparent (Ex, WO1-Shu Gaiden 8). So for now I won't cast my vote for any of those listed.
