The Nanbu has some pretty competent officers IIRC, and if you can get the Date then you're pretty much set. Kenshin will be a real problem, though. He's just a monster in original Kakushin. I've stopped playing this game since it's practically the same whatever clan you play. Assimilate a stronger clan, then use their officers to victory.
