This stage gives me mixed emotions over the course of each of its incarnations in the series I've seen. DW3, huge and very maze-like. Especially playing as Wei making your way to Zhuge Liang on that middle plateau. Then there are the numerous traps and weapons. DW4, classic and historical aspects of taunting Sima Yi when you clear the west gate. Each officer you play as says something unique. This version is clearly the better one no matter which side you play as with all the unique scenes, reinforcements, and it probably changes the most of all the stages in the game depending on what you do previously in musou mode. DW5, this is a tough stage, but not unachievable on chaos. 1000 kills easily here anytime you want really. WO, who doesn't love the lines in this one? Plus its great for weapon and experience farming as you like. Nobunaga, Shingen, and Kenshin pulling it all together for the final run at "Snakeboy", doesn't get much better that that. |
