I can remember watching his first scene and thinking Ranmaru was a girl, until I believe, Mitsuhide mentions it, and yeah I was a bit shocked. I knew nothing about the background to the game or anything then. I really liked Mitsuhide's voice and alternate outfit. Not to mention that the person who the game revolves around was Nobunaga, whom I knew from Onimusha's portrayal at the time. The thing I hated the most in the series back then was the castle floors and the loading times. They were just too tedious.
