He looks and sounds creepy for a REASON... Gilles de Rais was a freak. Yeah, at one time he helped Joan. But after that, he became reknown as a serial killer known as Bluebeard. You ever heard about the story about 'Legend of Bluebeard' whereas the lord called Bluebeard has a wife and lends her a key that opens any doors in his palace, but forbids her to open a certain door, but the wife gets curious and opens it anyway and found out his secret (it's the place he stores the corpses of his victim), and Bluebeard found out through the blood on the key... and was about to kill the wife before she was saved in the nick of the time. Well that's the kind of person Gilles is, so no wonder he's creepy as hell. Readers of Fate/Zero should recognize him as the evil Caster. Though I dunno how much creepy Gilles is here, all I know is that he IS creepy in real life as well.
