Joan of Arc's guardian and mentor Posts: 194 Group: Members Member #17,482 Joined: August 13, 2008	I have saved the game before the final battle for the French with my horses/elephants mercenary (the first guy I ever made). I'm not going to finish the story yet, because firstly I feel sad that it's almost over already and I won't see the French characters anymore. Secondly, I started a female character (French-favouring as well), who I hope to specialize in things like longsword, twin swords, and bows... basically, less "out-there" but "classier" weapons. My first lesson after getting slaughtered several times by sword-and-shields is that I think bowmen are really fun once you get the hang of it. Crazier still, like horses, they work well as a hit squad rampaging across the land because as long as they can do it sneakily, they can do just as much damage. They work well in teams, obviously. So this makes them a killer in most situations. Not to mention for some reason as long as you're on your toes, you don't get killed too easily by close-range fighters. What's the deal???
