For me, I love this stage, it has to be my most favourite stage in all of DW. In DW3, it was the best stage tp get to weopon 3 easily, also I found my love for Da Qiao with her cutscene with Zhen Ji, when Ji fires an arrow at her and says "Eh sorry very b*tchy. I thnk that this stage has been degraded and the series has got older, until DW6, cos it wasnt in DW5 at all until XL, and then DW4 is a blurry memory. Ever since 6, I have loved this stage more, with the stage concruction, the amount of enemys there are, you are pretty helpless unless you hav got true speed on Master imo, unless you are SSX or Yue Ying. I love the fact that Xiao Qiao appears in a stage without the help of playing as Zhou Yu, she only does this one other time, which is at the battle of Xia Pi, but IMO I think SSX should be in it, along with Zhen Ji and Xu huang like it was in DW3 DISCUS! I thought it was brilliant in DW3, though not my favorite. The whole ''Zhou Fang is an enemy spy, the person who brings his head shall be rewarded'' was a great quote from Sima Yi. I still remember it till this day. And yes, and if you didn't know, that scene with Zhen Ji can actually be seen if you take any female (not just Da Qiao.) DW4 was uninteresting. The only thing thats stood in my memory is Lu Xun standing ontop of the castle that shares a map with He Fei. DW5XL's was pretty decent. Also somewhat challenging task-wise IIRC. Some lovely scenes indeed. In DW6 it was very awesome, one of the hardest stages in the game. The middle just gets mobbed with officers and is the main focus of the stage, and also the start, not to mention if you kill Gan Ning or Ling Tong the other goes hyper on you. Plus if you use a character like Zhou Yu you get secret dialogue when entering the fort. If anyones interested in hearing it.
