There's also that dialogue where he warns your character from being remembered only for "being strong". So I reckon he made a mistake in his life and sees the potential in you and as you two become better friends, he also starts saying... From 1 star: "Please, come back to us unharmed"/"I shall pray for your safe return" From 2 star: "Good luck!" From 3 star - 4 star: "I expect to hear great things from you"/"Give up your best"/"Tell me of your deeds upon your return" From 5 star: "I suppose I need not worry about you!" I find that awesome!
