I'm not sure if I'm 100% correct here, but I'm sure that those effigies even cancel your musou attacks which your suppose to be invincible with...? I do really think they are the most annoying, as there are ways to dealing with the magicians and with archers certain running attacks like Yukimura's C1 which deflects the arrows.
