Actually he has one eye. That other eye is the one that was hit by the arrow and that is why there is a white glow there. I think KOEI did this instead of putting a patch there because it would probably burn off when he transformed.

I still can't believe they made him blue. Atleast make Zhao Yun green or something and SSX red.
