Treasure:Opal

Objective:Defeat Diao Chan when she arrives.

Ugh, can somebody help me in getting the Opal . I have defeated Diao Chan well within at least a minute and no treasure, I have beaten her numerous times but nothing . Any advice?

I got the item in the first go, I don't remember how exactly, but following Rydain's Weapon FAQ was simple enough to get me the item.

To be certain, take Diao Chan out within 4 minutes of her appearance.

Diao Chan will appear on the right side of the map and travel south. Just
keep a look out and rush her once you see her. Let Diao Chan talk before
you defeat her. This may be necessary to trigger the item.
