I figured that all the insane power he possesses came from Himiko's essence, and that the human-looking appearance was just a result of him being reincarnated. Well... no not confirmed. But it will be logical. But his race his humanoid. His normal peons look like humans with grey scalled body and white hair. They dont look snake (well they propably have snake eyes & tongue) Maybe he looks more human because he dosnt have his snake helmet on
