I did want to wait until I unlock Dream 27 (Which I am close to...), but I'll go ahead and give my own reviews on the stages and give my own opinions.

This will be long, probably the longest post I've ever done ever, so try not to fall asleep.

#28-Hasedo-Dong Zhuo, Magoichi, Kunoichi
An escort mission at its finest (or worst depending on how you perceive it). All the concepts in the stage are pretty funny with the drunken Zhang Fei, Kunoichi's ninja moments and Magoichi's heroism. But what really makes it funny is in the end when Dong Zhuo's money ends up going to the peasants. Not that bad of a stage, but it could have been better.

#27-Yan Province-Huang Gai, Xu Zhu, Hanzo
COMING SOON

#26-Nan Zhong-Taishi Ci, Wei Yan, Kojiro
Sun Ce VS Liu Bei in a mock battle... while that's the case, it really just seems to be a test for the three you're using: Wei Yan's devotion to Liu Bei, Taishi Ci's might and Kojiro's compassion. It's interesting to see, but the problem I have with stage is it has nothing that special about it, and they could have done more. It's interesting to note that this is the only stage where Yoshitsune is your enemy.

#25-Chang Sha-Meng Huo, Goemon, Okuni
Charity strikes back. One of the more funny Dream stages because the three have really amusing antics here; Meng Huo and Zhu Rong, Okuni's charity drives, and Goemon's..... uh, breaking in the castle. That's probably the only gripe I have with this one. Goemon doesn't have that much of a role. On a side note, I always thought that Goemon's robbing of Hideyoshi loot is a reference to real history.

#24-Lu Shan-Xiao Qiao, Zhen Ji, No
What a way to combine a variety of tasks into one stage. Probably the most varied Dream stage among all of them. There's just so much to do in this one to free all the female characters. The dialogue of bloodthirsty Zhen Ji & No and goofy Xiao Qiao is also great to listen to. The one problem I have with the stage is that fact that you are given too little time to rescue everyone. It was only the second playthrough of this stage where I found out that SSX is also being held captive, but the moment the message popped up, Dong Zhuo came in as well.

#23-Chen Cang-Xing Cai, Yoshimoto, Ginchiyo
For a team that has almost nothing in common, this stage was pretty fun, rescuing everybody. A little too generic of a stage for my tastes, but its alright. Pretty neat to hear the Okehazama SWK track.

#22-Xia Pi-Sima Yi, Mitsunari, Masamune
These three egotistical maniacs together is actually a good teamup. The stage itself was a good one, with strategy being seen here and there. This is the prime example of teaming characters that have similar personalities, and this one is not annoying as some of the others (More on that later...)

#21-Shikoku-Yue Ying, Ling Tong, Mitsuhide
A good thing the concept of this teamup is mentioned, because honestly I would never have seen the comparisons of these three. It was a good concept, though honestly it did feel a bit repetitive, since its the classic defeat, lure em out deal.

#20-Mai Castle-Yuan Shao, Zhu Rong, Nene
Not one of my favorites. Aside from being a near-generic battle, the comparisons of this team aren't that evident in this stage. What do these three have in common? Being extremely bossy. So where is it in this stage?

#19-Hinokawa-Zhang Fei, Tadakatsu, Musashi
This stage, while fun for being such a massive fightfest, felt waaay too long for me. It was great to see these three together, but there were just too many officers to fully enjoy it. Not to mention babysitting Ieyasu. Again.

#18-Honnoji-Xiahou Yuan, Huang Zhong, Ina
I knew this team would be here. The idea was good, but I wasn't too keen on escorting a whole bunch of archers to a specific spot over and over again. It could have been better, but I really had a fun time killing the peons with arrows over and over again. They are a lot more effective this time, especially with Firepower.

#17-Kyushu-Da Qiao-SSX-Oichi
Kinda like Dream 24, just less fun and not as awesome. Stringing the husbands out of trouble was OK and fine, but couldn't they have come up with anything better than that? I did like that fact that these three almost had a perfect balanced role in this one, even though the Oichi conflict was clearly the one highlighted here.

#16-Ueda Castle-Gan Ning, Zhang Liao, Kotaro
For a stage that hinders you to do a sneak attack, it was alright and a fun stage to play. It was great to see these three together, not to mention it was very refreshing to see Kotaro not on the side of Orochi this time. Gan Ning's comments on the weirdness of Kotaro was great.

#15-Han Sui-Guan Ping, Cao Pi, Gracia
What a neat concept, the children VS their dad's. A bit weird about Gracia's placing here considering that it was only WO2 where their family relationship is really seen. A good stage overall, not much that I have a problem with.

#14-Osaka Bay-Diao Chan, Zhang He, Motochika
The problem with this one is that it was too short. There are not that many officers to make it a fight fest, and the team concept was just one that didn't really didn't interest me that much. It could have been better, this one.

#13-Ji Province-Zuo Ci, Zhang Jiao, Pang Tong
Screw Pirates VS Ninjas, it's Mystics VS Ninjas now. Despite seeing these three together in a stage again (DW5), it was a fun little stage, thwarting all the ninja tricks. They pretty much had fun with this one, having Hanzo, Nene, Kotaro and Kunoichi together as enemies. Not bad, one of the more fun stages to play.

#12-Nan Zhong- Sun Ce, Pang De, Toshiie
This one was fun to play, there were just so many enemies to fight. There wasn't that much of an interaction between these three, but its alright.

#11-Nan Zhong-Ma Chao, Nagamasa, Kanetsugu
The concept was good, but man, this is by far the most annoying Dream stage ever, not because it's hard, but because of all this HONOR stuff. Oh boy... I knew this teamup was bound to happen.

#10-Xin Castle-Dian Wei, Zhou Tai, Ranmaru
This stage is handled well. Aside from putting these famous bodyguards together, you fight against all 5 Shu Tiger generals, something that hasn't been seen much in the Warriors franchise. A good stage, but it could have had more interaction.

#9-Jing Province-Sun Jian, Cao Ren, Katsuie
Not a fun stage at all. It was way too generic, nothing really that exciting about it, but there were a lot of officers to fight. It was not handled well this one. It was however, a blast to hear Eve from DW4 again.

#8-Yamatai-Lu Bu, Tadakatsu, Keiji
Finally, this is the big moment I have been waiting for in the WO franchise, the teamup of the three powerhouses. These three VS pretty much the entire Orochi army. On top of that , it was on Yamatai, with one of the best Koei BGM's of all time. Great stuff, but Orochi X should have been added IMO to make it more like a real final fight.

#7-Wu Territory-Jiang Wei, Lu Xun, Sakon
Strategy against strategy. Kinda like Dream 15, except its against their masters. Kinda odd though that Lu Xun is against Zhou Yu when clearly Lu Xun owes more to Lu Meng. It did feel a little too short though.

#6-East Odawara Castle-Guan Yu, Lu Meng, Xiahou Dun
A teamup that was bound to happen. Kinda interesting, its pretty much because of Guan Yu that these guys are together. The HUGE problem with stage is Guan Yu himself. He hogs the spotlight here, when clearly the theme this stage implies the alliance of the three nemesis' of the 3 Kingdoms. It was a good stage, but baby sitting Liu Chan and watching Guan Yu be a glory hog is not fun.

#5-Mt. Qi-Guan Yu, Xu Huang, Kenshin
Seriously, what's so great about Guan Yu (and Tadakatsu for that matter that he has two Dream stages with him? Anyway, theres nothing too exciting that seen in this stage, just the classic rescue allies and beat the enemy stage. Nothing special.

#4-Itsukushima-Zhao Yun, Yukimura, Yoshihiro
This stage seems to exemplify the common trait of these three: Breakthrough charges. While this is nothing more than a babysitting stage, the stuff tasks you do kinda reminds me of the DW days. Also note that this is one of the few times Tadakatsu appears as an enemy here, not to mention one of the few times he allies with Lu Bu.

#3-He Fei Castle-Zhou Yu, Zhuge Liang, Shingen
Oh yeah... Men of Intelligence. Not only was it awesome to hear that track again, the stage itself was fun, one strategy after another, it was great. Once again though, balance issues arise here considering that Sima Yi is the one in charge of Kenshin and Sakon, rather than the three being separate armies. Still though, a good stage.

#2-Fan Castle and #1-Osaka Castle-Nobunaga, Hideyoshi and Ieyasu & Cao Cao, Sun Quan and Liu Bei
These two might as well be together since they both pretty much convey the same simple and wet dream concept: DW VS SW.
If you want true DW VS SW battles, without any interference from Orochi whatsoever, don't look beyond these two stages.
The Fan Castle version is the better one because it gives equal focus on all 6 rulers, and gives you the huge map populated by DW officers.
The Osaka Castle version is good as well, but the problem is that Hideyoshi and Ieyasu are shafted here in favor of Nobunaga. It seems that the Osaka Castle version kinda focuses more on Nobunaga against Cao Cao, rather than the 3 on 3. Regardless though, both are great stages, and probably the highlight of Dream Mode overall.

So that sums it up. Dream 27 will come later when I unlock it, so watch this space.
