Laws in Australia actually prevent smoking within something like 5 meters from entrances of some public buildings actually. Where I do my part time study there are large ramp style entrances to the building, there it's also illegal to smoke on the ramp, let alone in the building. Smoking Laws continue to get sticker and stricter over here, I think it's a good thing though. Do whatever you like in your private life, but keep it out of public is how I'd like it to be, and laws slowly but surely and moving in that direction.
